It's not belief; it's the reality in Ligue 1 because PSG always wins the Ligue 1 title after some poor performance at some point in a season. After PSG managed to earn nine points in their last five matches, they are still at the top of the league table, which is to tell you that no matter how PSG perform in Ligue 1, they remain the favorite to win the title.

Interesting how PSG has gained so much dominance in the French League so much that they need not too many exceptional performances for them to end the season winning  the league  title, they can be having a bad season, but because  they have been able to build some gaps ahead of others, it then feels like other Ligue 1 teams becomes too lazy to meeting up with the gap and possibly displace PSG, and that is why they can comfortably give so much priority to the champions league than they do to the Ligue 1.

PSG is stronger than all other teams in Ligue 1 because they are able to improve their squad due to their financial resources, while other teams don't have as much, making it difficult to bolster their squad with quality players. PSG is even planning to bring in Lamine Yamal. Although it's difficult, their interest in quality players is much stronger than other teams in Ligue 1.

Ahead of them in the Champions League is a game against Bayern, which, if we compare it purely statistically, is better than any other team in the top leagues, but it seems to me that today’s game against Nice will be the full focus for PSG. Now is the time to stock up on points in the national championship so that when the Champions League playoffs begin, you can concentrate only on it.

This is no more ordinary, like Paris Saint Germain is actually not playing to my expectations, the question here is can they actually win the French ligue 1 title? Because with what I'm seeing it won't be that easy for them as no team is ready to be left behind, and I'd love it more seeing another different team winning the league this season, so by next season they will show more seriousness, or should I say they focus more on the champions League like they'd love to defend it as it will be very much interesting to see.

After watching the last two matches, it seems to me that PSG are going through an unusually difficult group stage, however after drawing with Lorient, this team managed to win with great difficulty against Nice today even though their opponents were easy in this match, their goal tally was only one and that goal was scored by Goncalo Ramos in the 95th minute. PSG's recent form has us worried as they host Bayern in the upcoming match at Parc des Princes, if they make even a small mistake in this Champions League match against a German league club, they will definitely lose because it can be emphasized that Vincent Kompany's team has created a world-renowned attacking line-up consisting of Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz. So my idea it is largely correct that PSG need to gain stronger morale because Bayern Munich is definitely a threat to them.

PSG escaped a draw today, all accolades goes to Ramos for delivering a finish in the injury time. Paris Saint-Germain are back ontop of the Ligue One table with 24 points pushing while second place, Monaco are 20 points. Luis Enrique will ensure his side have a balance side.

I don't think there's a chance for any other team other than Paris Saint-Germain to do well this year. They can get close and give the boys a bit of trouble, but i don't think there's even the slightest chance. They're too strong, but anything can happen

You have to remember, being "successful" is relative. How so? Well if a team like Lens finishes second place, that is a successful year. But if a team like PSG loses at the cup, and doesn't even reach top 24 on group stages of UCL and still manages to win the league? You would see the manager getting fired. So that means every team has a different approach, and different success understanding with what they have.

PSG being first place is not just successful one, there are others who can do that. Monaco and Marseille spend a ton of money so they should be spending a lot of money for a reason, which is being in the top four easily, top three if possible. If they can do that, that's success, if not then it is not, but no need to win the league, they are aware of that.

Yeah I totally get what you’re saying, there are levels to this success depending on who you are, just as how Real Madrid finished Second to Barcelona in the LaLiga and they were considered to have had a bad season, whereas Athletic Bilbao which finished fourth and Real Betis who finished sixth might have been considered to have a successful season or almost successful season.
It is really relative, depending on the pedigree or level of the team involved. PSG are so dominant in the Ligue Un that they might not be considering winning the Ligue title as a big achievement, one of the major reasons Oussmane Dembele won the Ballon D’or award was because PSG won the Champions league.
This other teams can overturn PSG at the top if they want to but they’re not being serious, PSG wasn’t in title discussions before the 2013 set. The others can also do same, Lyon just took a backseat since PSG took over.

Marseille is just two points behind PSG, they are really building the quiet momentum that mostly no body seem to be noticing, I believe they will put up some really good contention against PSG if they continue to maintain this form and PSG fails to get their form and strength right enough to maintain that top position on the table and not been easily displaced the way it is about seeming. One team I have really loved this season is Paris, I see how they won their game today and so far how they have been performing too, they may not gwt so much from the season but they will be sure to have a good finish for a just promoted team.

Monaco have been acting very strangely this season, I don't know what the hell happened to them. I know that in past seasons they weren't a consistent team that fought for the title, but it seems to me that this season they are much worse than in previous seasons.



For example, in today's game they were playing against an opponent from the second division who also weren't doing well, coming off a run of 3 games without a win, and Monaco was playing at home. Monaco was supposed to win that game, but they didn't even manage to score a single goal and lost. If they continue like this, they might not even finish in 4th place.

Marseille's victory over Auxerre this time keeps Marseille in second place in Ligue 1, only two points behind PSG. Although this victory was quite dramatic, with a red card for a Marseille player, they still won with the only goal scored.

This also served as a warning to PSG to be more consistent in every match, as the points difference was very tight. Fortunately, this time, after failing to draw in the last match, PSG managed to win against Nice, albeit narrowly by only one goal.

Luis Enrique seems to have a different strategy this season, they want to look a little bit struggling in Ligue 1, but still ensure they are at the top of the table. When they started their journey in the Champions League, they impressed with a different performance, PSG game looked very aggressive and solid, I assume this is clearly part of Luis Enrique plan.
If PSG manage to beat Bayern Munchen in the Champions League in midweek, then it further shows that they actually could have easily beaten Nice yesterday, it’s just that it was part of Luis Enrique clever strategy.
Last season, both Marseille and Monaco tried hard to put pressure on PSG, but as the season went on, they eventually ran out of steam.

It's fair to say PSG scored the winning goal in the final seconds. Had Nice's defense cleared the corner kick, the referee would have called the final whistle, but G. Ramos scored the winner for PSG with a beautiful header in the 90+5 minute.

PSG didn't play well. The PSG players have been out of form lately. I suspect they're struggling to concentrate, especially in league matches.

They have a crucial Champions League match against Bayern Munich on Tuesday. The last time the two teams met was in a FIFA Club World Cup match.

It would have been great for them if they had managed an easier win against Nice. The players' morale doesn't seem to be very good. What a resistance example by Nice that was... They just accepted the game to be played in their half mostly but still they were so close to securing one point.

I really don't like the teams parking the bus. But I understand this was the only way they could have got a point from PSG.   

If Dembélé was a starter maybe PSG would score earlier. But Luis Enrique wanted to give him limited time thinking the Bayern Munich game ahead.

Nice club had an incredible defense, which allowed us to see that PSG were unable to create the right attacking advantage against this team. It was clear to everyone that with Goncalo Ramos' late goal, this team had secured a dramatic victory,If the defending champions don't maintain their attacking sharpness with such an underdeveloped team, then it's natural that they will face a lot of problems when they face Bayern in the upcoming UCL match. Besides it seems to me that Ramos is a very skilled player when it comes to scoring goals in stoppage time, in fact he had previously scored a late goal against a PL club in the UEFA Super Cup final.

Even then, we are somewhat guessing that PSG will be the favorites in the upcoming Champions League match because they managed to beat Bayern in a Club World Cup match but since then this German league club has been unstoppable in winning.

That's just exactly how they win the league they make sure they accumulate enough points at start that no one will come close even if they lost form they will just be at the top of the league, the fact is no team is actually ready to wake up to challenge Paris Saint Germain in this league, so they should keep the dominance for as long as they want while the other teams fight for the top four spot in the league because I'm quite sure no matter how hard this other teams tried they can never go ahead of Paris Saint Germain in that league so they should fight for top four which Paris Saint Germain fight for the league and Champions League.

There is no worthy rival for PSG in Ligue 1. PSG is the most likely to win  the title even if they are not performing very well. Even PSG has lost points in three of the last 5 matches. But even then marseille could not occupy the top spot of the table. They are still 2 points behind PSG. We can see that Luis Enrique's main target is the champions league matches. PSG is not giving full effort in Ligue 1 matches. Even then PSG will win the LIgue 1 title.
