Marseille has risen to the top of the table, albeit with a game in hand. It's nice to finally see a leader other than PSG. Marseille is the only team this season that has beaten PSG. Hopefully, they keep it up and maybe chase the title until the final weeks. PSG's squad is the best in the league by a wide margin no doubt, but at least if there were a few teams that could challenge them, it would make for a more exciting league to watch.

Playing away & crushing the hosts, Marseille played well because even though they didn't dominate the match, they were able to make the most of the chances they had. 1 fact about Marseille in this match, they had a lot of goals which means they were massively attacking, but they didn't have a single offside.

It's good to see that there's serious challenger for Paris Saint Germain in Ligue 1 this season, I hope Marseille continue to have good performances so we can see another league champion this season.

After the first half, I stopped watching the game for a few minutes, and when I returned, Olympique had already scored 4 goals. I wondered what was happening to Nice, but I didn't watch the game anyway. I am not sure about the pressure on PSG. It is good for the competitiveness of the league, but I am almost certain that PSG will beat Le Havre today and return to the top. What surprises me even more is not only Marseille’s match yesterday but also how many goals they have managed to score after twelve rounds, only thirty three, while PSG have scored twenty four. I can't remember the last time someone was able to outperform them so much in this statistic after a third of the league matches. In any case it is good that PSG now have such a worthy opponent.

Marseille goal wasn't up to 6 it was 5:2, if PSG still take the league precious they would be more than ever consistent they have been because we have new team since this league to be more than the point of PSG and is a sign they will compete to the last minutes except the club who will be there competitors will beat them higher again, is something to show how easy a champion can be out point when there players have not recovered. Is not a story now that Marseille didn't go far out of Luck but they're strong indeed. Newcastle United might not even win them as time they're to meet is days ahead.

Impressive performance of mason Greenwood by scoring two goals against Nice make him leading the top scorer standings awhile of Ligue 1 by scoring 10 goals of 12 matches and made 4 assists. Its amazing result for Marseille success defeating Nice as away match and three points achievement dropping PSG to 2nd place behind one point remaining with PSG has one match tomorrow against Le Havre. Marseille is on fire, where in this match they showed how great their performance was even though they didn't dominate the game. And they managed to score 5 goals from 5 big chances they had. But Nice could only score 1 goal from 4 big chances they had. This victory has brought Marseille to the top of the standings with 28 points. And Mason Greenwood is currently the top scorer in Ligue 1 or even ahead of Panichelli. I'm increasingly convinced that Greenwood deserves the award he received last month and even more awards to come. I'm confident that he can perform consistently. He seems to have a good rhythm when playing with his teammates. So I'm confident too that Marseille has great potential to win Ligue 1 this season. And Marseille is a really strong contender for PSG.

This was really great display of extraordinary performance from the Marseille which is now at the top of league table for 24 hours because PSG is going to host Le Havre which is undefeated in last games and in case of win PSG will be back at the top of league table.

In this game, Mason Greenwood and Auba both were at the top of their performance, and they punish Nice at their own home which is huge success for Marseille which is looking impressive in this season due to their aggressive approach and good depth in team. Few big and interesting games are going to play later Lens is going to host Strasbourg both fighting hard for third spot and Rennes is going to entertain Monaco which is having not good start of their season and searching for consistency and better results.

They have it all but my fear is them slacking when the games really matters just like last season, they can make PSG feel the heat but Marseille can't be trusted (to me) to keep up with this form and we all know PSG have been the only team in the Ligue 1 that keeps that consistency which has helped them achieved so much titles. I didn't watch the game either, but I was wondering what outcome to bet on. This game seemed random to me - the bookmakers were pricing Olympique's odds at 1.95. The odds for BTTS seemed too low to me, and I ended up skipping the game altogether. Who could have known it would end in such a rout? Although he plays well in PSG which is good for PSG but here comes a question that if Dembele was not good in Barcelona then PSG bought him despite being a very good team. When a player has difficulty playing, he will be really happy that he is playing with poor performance. If he improves himself soon then his performance and hard work will be quite good which will make him very good in the future. Before going into the match against Le Havre, PSG had 27 points and they are in second place in the points table with one point more than Marseille. Although I do not consider PSG as the team in second place in the points table because Marseille is in first place with only one point more than PSG after playing one match more than them. A quite unusual kind of win by Marseille for this game.    I thought Nice would make difficulties for them at home. There have been examples of it in their last a couple of head-to-heads.

Aubameyang and Greenwood are two very crucial players for Marseille this season. Their goal contribution combined is crazy! For now Marseille have taken the lead with an extra game played.

But it shouldn't be that hard for PSG to finish off Le Havre to take it back...
