I was quite surprised to see PSG suffer a defeat, you could say AS Monaco had more luck this time. PSG did not perform as they usually do, they were unable to create many dangerous chances and managed only two shots on target. Statistically, even though AS Monaco did not dominate possession, they played better overall. PSG failed to take advantage of their numerical superiority to turn the game around or at least equalize.
Even though PSG dropped points, they are still at the top of the table, but now they should be worried because with their inconsistent performance Marseille has a chance to take it because the two are only one point apart.

Injuries are the main problem because when some of their key player come back from injury, some will get injured again and that’s why they are not consistent in the League1 but they are active and performing really well in the Champions League because their coach Luis Enrique is an experienced coach and knows how to play the champions league football, so he will always manage his players to get a better result.

I am liking the competition in the League1 because Nice, Monaco, Lille, and others that come to bring a very healthy competition because PSG keep dominating the league for long which is f proper.

This is the real problem in the French league. There's no other team that's consistent. When Paris Saint-Germain drops points, the lack of a consistent team to keep up makes Paris Saint-Germain's job easier. For example, they lost to Monaco, but since their opponents also dropped points, they haven't fallen too far behind. Paris Saint-Germain will likely be champions again at the end of the year.

It seems this will be a season that will give us PSG fans a lot of headaches. PSG's next game will be against Rennes, who are on a run of 5 games without losing and are in 5th place in the table. Knowing that after the game against Rennes, there's a Champions League match, and PSG will need to take that game very seriously, I predict a high risk of PSG dropping points against Rennes. I like the way Marseille have been taking good care of business especially when is PSG trying to get to the top and I have been praising these guys to chase PSG for the title but after every team played their 14th game of the season what I saw shocked my eyes. I never saw this coming even in my dreams...what is Lens doing at the top of the table where we have PSG, Marseille Monaco and Lyon? I thought my browser was having issue, Lens on top with 1pt difference between them and PSG, 2pt between them (Lens) and Marseille, this is impressive honestly, we know they might drop from that position but with how they boldly moved up is what I never saw coming, they should try and see where the season drops them.

Lyon defeated Nantes. They hadn't won in 4 matches and had fallen far behind at the top of the table. This victory gave them some breathing room.
In a week where PSG lost and Marseille drew, Lens secured their 4th consecutive win to take the top spot. Even they couldn't have predicted this 4 weeks ago. We'll see how long this top spot lasts. But as far as I know, PSG won't let them off the hook.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but the competition doesn’t actually feel as tight as we imagine. If PSG weren’t dealing with this injury storm and Enrique didn’t have to rotate the squad, things would look very different. We can see how Enrique had to set up the starting XI in the last match without Dembele in the attack and Nuno Mendes in the defense. Both of these players are key figures for PSG in securing wins every game.

If those important players weren’t injured, I think Ligue 1 would still look the same as in previous seasons, PSG dominating the league.

Monaco got a perfect team but in this season their performance is not good enough especially their defense is terrible, they already conceded 12 goals in last 5 games with just 2 wins for them. Currently they are at 7th spot, they needed to be improving  their performance if they want to have good end of their season.

Upcoming three games are going to be challenging for them against Brest in away, Galatasaray at home and Marseille in away game. After beating PSG their confidence level is high, but they needed to be keep their performance at good level for having good results because their chances are not good in champions league for staying into top 24 teams.

I was very disappointed in Marseille they didn’t play entire well, because I was expecting them to win and get to the top of the league table, but unfortunately for them they couldn’t get to win the game, they didn’t show real motivation for a team who really wanted to win a game, they should have played like a team who are ready to win a game and go top of the French League One Standings.

Because PSG's financial capability is extraordinary, they can buy any player they want due to their finances and their wealthy owner. With a competent and high-quality coach like Luis Enrique, plus an unbeatable squad in the French league, it is very easy for PSG to win the French league even though last night they slipped and lost to AS Monaco. But the league still has a long way to go. And I am confident that this season PSG will win the French league again. PSG's situation is exactly the same as Bayern Munich in the German league, who face no competition every season due to the stark financial differences compared to others besides Bayern Munich, just like PSG, so in the German league Bayern Munich also has no adequate rivals.

Lens showed us their consistent performance after winning against Angers last night and moving to first standings with one points left behind PSG, overall Lens have won 10 of 14 domestic league matches and great result so far as not favorable teams for Ligue 1 tittle race. Lens have won 4 matches in a row and next several matches will face the middle team standings has chance to defend top position from PSG or Marseille are 3rd position awhile after getting draw last match.
I want to see how long Lens keep consistent performance and break out PSG dominance in Ligue 1, until playing 14 matches still consistent will perform well until second half season and for the first time make PSG need working hard to defend Ligue 1 trophy for season 2025/26?

Marseille could go top of the league today if they happen to beat Toulouse in their match, this advantage was proudly sponsored by Monaco after they beat the champions earlier today by a lone goal. Olympic Marseille failed to maximise the opportunity they had to go top of the French League as they could finish their game against Toulouse in a 2:2 draw. Considering how impressive Marseille have been since the start of the season, I thought it was going to be an easy day at the office for them and even when they were still 2:1 up at 90th minute, it looked like they were gonna protect their lead but unfortunately for them, Santiago Hidalgo scored in the 92nd minute to help the visitors claim a point from the game and stop the home team from going top of the standings

Marseille are going to regret the missed opportunity. It was a moment that they have been waiting for but when the opportunity came they bottled it and now it will take them a long time to claim the top spot because I don't see PSG losing another match anytime soon. I even see Marseille losing more matches before PSG. Marseille did me dirty yesterday and they will suffer it. I hope Lens will take their opportunity and will their match against Angers so they can move top of the table and Marseille drop to third.
