Nice to see other teams rise up like this because it's rear to see such things happen in the such things in the ligue 1. Even though I don't think that this lead will last long it will send the right message to PSG that other teams are there in the league and that they can't continuously control the outcome of the league. PSG has won this league back to back for how many years now so if other team can take the courage to challenge for the title then it will be a good one because it will be helpful to even the leagues. The French ligue is not too fancied by most people because they believe that it's a one man show.

In the past years we have seen only PSG dominating Ligue 1. This season the scenario is different. Lens and Marseille are  playing very well and competing for the title . And at the moment the top spot of the points table is occupied by Lens.

Luis Enrique has given the main focus on the champions league. As a result, the team's performance in ligue 1 is quite erratic. That is why they have lost the top spot of the table. And it is now certain that if PSG does not focus well on ligue 1, then they will not be able to win the ligue 1 title. PSG's worthy rivals this season are lens and Marseille. I'm impressed with Lens's performance, but to be honest, they do not have what it takes to challenge PSG for the title. I'm sure they won't last long, and PSG will reclaim the top spot very soon. But if by any chance, they can miraculously steal the title from PSG, I would so much like it because PSG has been winning it for almost every season, and I would like to see a change to that.

Yes, I also saw that Lens is in first place, so it was a pity for PSG that they were not able to dominate after the title, which they should have done. There has been games where a team came back from 2 goals down to win the game. It does not really matter if you say that PSG does have the victory, it is no news that PSG dominates and probably conquers the whole of the Ligue 1 comfortably so they may suffer some downtime but I know it will not last and before too long, they will be back at the top of the table in their best and full form, so whatever other teams are doing at the top of the table currently, I consider as been temporary.

PSG remains in a tight race in the Ligue 1 standings, although they currently trail Lens by one point and are closely followed by Marseille. Indeed, in terms of competition, there's no need to say who will be crowned champions early, especially with so many matches remaining, so everyone only needs to look at a few results for each team before the season enters its final stretch. The biggest issue they had was injuries, they had so many injuries this season that they ended up not getting the results that they want in many games.

Maintaining the lead in a match could be pretty difficult at times because when you take the lead the opponents begins to react negatively  and tends to put you under severe pressure until they find an equaliser or a consolation goal. To maintain the lead means playing with the same or a higher level of intensity and pressure, retaining possession and keeping control of the game, if you can't combine all of these methods then you might lose the lead even if you are two goals up.

While I do agree that some teams do lack good defensive tactics, to tell them to park the bus isn't that difficult to be fair. All you do is your defenders drop back even further, and not go ahead at all, they are all on defensive line that is literally near the goal keeper, then your midfield drops back to where your defenders were, and the only players you keep ahead is either one or two fast offensive players.

When you defend with 9 or 10 players, you do not really need a tactic, every player knows where they should be. Before the game you can also give them all the players they need to mark in that case, but to be fair most of them even know that too. So it's just yell the players "park the bus" and they will do it.
