Monaco became a trending topic of discussion because they were able to beat PSG, albeit with a 1-0 score. This has created new hope that other teams can certainly do the same as Monaco. So if all Ligue 1 clubs could be like Monaco, it would make the title race more difficult. PSG would lose its dominance and of course the league would become more competitive. Next, Monaco will face Brest. Monaco should be able to win. Brest is ranked below Monaco, so Monaco's statistics look better.

Previously, Marseille managed to beat PSG and now Monaco as well. Of course, this gives other teams hope to stay in the title race. Lens is now one of the teams that are in good form this season, they have an outstanding performance since the past five seasons finishing in the top positions, I think they need attention because they are the only team that can stop PSG right now, so let’s hope they use this opportunity to add more points gap and not to drop points as well.

The inconsistency of AS Monaco is what causes Monaco to struggle to compete for the French league title. Although in the previous match they surprisingly managed to defeat PSG, this week, in the match that took place last night, AS Monaco lost to the very weak team Brest. If they were able to win against PSG, they should have easily won against such a weak team, but the reality tells a different story. Today we might see a change of hands on the league table that's if Lens decide to lose against Nantes and when that happens it will be left for PSG to beat Rennes. The Ligue 1 is becoming interesting in the sense that the clubs we thought would be running the show on the log are the ones struggling to get to that number 1 spot and I hope this doesn't end this week for us to see these guys who have been dominating the league to get back to their usual position. It will be better to still see Lens who I don't know how they got to the number 1 position win their game and continue to lead on the table till this week runs out, honestly I still can't understand how it happened but I'm beginning to like what I'm seeing in the Ligue 1.
Well, Lens will have to do what they know how to do best by beating Nantes away from home, it will be an easy one for the league leaders but the host shouldn't be underestimated at all because a surprise can happen like it did last week where Monaco beat PSG (they also lost last night), so I'd expect Lens to be alert in this encounter and get a comfortable win, 1-4 for the away side.

Currently, the competition in the standings table still looks very competitive, the teams in the top 4 still have the opportunity to nudge each other in the fight for first place. Marseille lost their match yesterday, and for Lille that win only allowed them to get the same number of points that Marseille have. Today Lens will play against Nantes, and after that PSG will play at home against Rennes. I am almost certain that PSG will win their match. As for Lens, I am not sure, for me it is surprising that they are currently at the top of the table, and I think PSG might soon overtake them. By the way, Rennes are also in good form right now, but I think that in a home match PSG are expected to beat them.

Yeah, I also enjoy this season more than the previous seasons, because now PSG are working for it. Even if they end up winning the trophy this season, if they work for it, it will never be a problem. Last night Marseille got another point loss this time against Lille away by 1-0. I only liked Greenwood from them honestly. He was like everywhere on the pitch. He had a great shot on target too but the goalkeeper saved it in the same way.

Let's say this was a tougher game. But that Toulouse draw can't be explained normally.

Even if PSG didn't put in the effort, even if PSG had important players injured and lost points, they would still become champions because the opponents they have in the league are weak and very unstable. Take, for example, the recent case of Monaco. In the last game, Monaco managed to beat PSG, in a game where Monaco played very well. So I believe people thought that Monaco would easily beat their next opponent because it wasn't as strong as PSG, but Monaco lost. I still do not find it like PSG is weak, I believe it is just a down time for them of which I know  they will still bounce back on their feet and this few losses is just a normal that happens with big teams that does not stop them from winning the league title for the season.  PSG are still very much contenders for the title and I believe  they are not going let slack of it.
