PSG's form is not the big issue here, due to player injuries and the focus on the Champions League, they are not able to show great form in Ligue 1. Still, they are not in a bad position or they are not doing very badly, but they are failing to do anything great. They were definitely out of rhythm in the last match of the Champions League, PSG's front line players were out of rhythm against Athletic Bilbao's great defense.

Tried to attack 17 times, 8 of them were strong attacks. But we did not see any goals in the match. Athletic Bilbao's plan was clear to us, to get 1 point from the match and avoid defeat. They succeeded 100% in their plan, but PSG had to suffer losses.

I don't think they'll relinquish the league lead to any other team after taking it. For the first time in a long time, I see PSG's situation in the French league as risky. Of course, they are the biggest title contenders at the end of the season, but what if they don't win league ?

I was surprised to see Lens' record and their good performance because they have won all the matches in their record but there is some deficiency which they have made up for by recently winning with 2 and 4 goals in the matches. Obviously PSG's performance has also been defeated so they are not getting the dominance in this league that their fans want. Lens's such effort and hard work has made them quite strong and I think if they win the match with the same form they can defeat any team in the final. In addition, the league is not at the end yet but Lens will try not to give PSG a chance to come up which will keep Lens' points and position at the top. I would consider Lens better with Lens' current performance at this time but PSG's return will also hurt other teams.

Firstly, last year after 15 games they had 37 points, secondly, 33 points is really not enough - only 73%, which is on the verge of "championship pace" if you take all the top leagues into account. Considering PSG is head and shoulders above everyone else in Ligue 1, this is a very weak result. I checked the last 10 years, and this is literally the second-worst result - the only worse season was 2020-21.
Everyone expects PSG to have a large reserve of points so that later they can focus only on the Champions League, but as we see, they cannot create a reserve, nor even just lead.

Lens only need consistency that's what can only take them to the finish line with good mark now it is obvious Paris Saint Germain is not really doing great but I believe with time they will still get back on their stand but while waiting for that time to come Lens should accumulate enough points as possible to at least keep them on the track line when Paris Saint Germain might have come back to their normal form, but just like I have been saying I'd really love it if Lens should win the French ligue 1 title like it will be more interesting than Paris Saint Germain winning it like they always do.

I don't know if Lens will be able to keep up with Paris Saint-Germain, which is a great team and for me it's just a coincidence that they're in that position.

Right now they have to try to put their level on a higher level, but i don't know if they can succeed in the immediate future, so their growth will be constant.

Marseille may be in form currently but I can’t say that they will continue with that great form. No matter how I see Marseille’s performance, I will never say they will be able to win the Ligue 1 trophy, because I know they don’t have the squad to maintain the consistency needed to win it.If other teams do not sign great players and build a better squad that can compete with PSG, I don’t think any team will be able to win the Ligue 1 trophy again except PSG. In a few seasons, when I see the way Marseille, Monaco or Lyon are performing, I start to think that maybe they can win Ligue 1, but later I discover that they are not consistent  and it’s all because their squads are too weak compared to PSG.

Nice is 12th in the league, I do not see why Lens, the leader of the league, should have hard time beating them. Not saying they will, we have seen worse odds still manage to beat teams, but it doesn't look like a team Lens should have hard time normally and should be able to defeat.

PSG will of course get a win, but didn't see PSG fail against weaker teams? Things just can happen and we have no idea, this week could end with Lens being ahead with a lot more points and anything could happen. Or of course it could be like what we assume, where Lens will drop points and PSG will take the leader position back, we just don't know what's going to happen, there is no guarantee on any of these games and results. I am just assuming both Lens and PSG will win.

Is not too much to ask from them because they have shown that sign of getting the job done but yet again the consistency is what seems to be the problem and is like them and PSG are some how alike now because they are not up to how they were from the beginning of the season, these days they win and lose. For now Lens are showing too much interest in winning the title than Marseille and PSG, I'm saying this because of how they are on the table and I wish for Lens to get a hold of the title at least for this season. For Greenwood I believe he has so much to offer but like you said these two players (Greenwood and Aubameyang) can't be the only power house for the team, they need the help of everybody to make the squad stronger.

Lens should be able to take advantage of this situation as much as possible by keeping the points coming in every match, or at least making a draw the worst result. That way, Lens can have a big chance to win the title. On the other hand, Lens don’t have a tight schedule, while PSG are chasing the UCL title again. So for now, Lens still have hope, and we’ll see tomorrow whether Lens can beat Nice, who have always been a tough opponent for them.

They're staying in the Champions League which will probably happen but when it comes to trophies I think we know who will get them.

Lens is good now at least after the decline in performance in the last few seasons after the 2022 season started well, currently their performance is almost the same as that season only I still believe that the current condition is just a thing that will remain very difficult to talk about the Ligue 1 trophy.
Indeed, their chance is still very open for now, it just depends on the performance of PSG because to talk about the trophy at this time depends on PSG's performance so that others can get a chance.

As long as PSG is still getting good performance, in the end, other clubs will find it difficult to get the Ligue 1 trophy even though the club's performance is improving like Lens at the moment.

The season is still very long, and PSG still has many opportunities to take over the top spot in the standings from Lens, which in my opinion is an easy task. PSG is only one point behind, just one draw will make Lens drop in the rankings. Enrique doesn't seem too worried about the Ligue 1 title competition, his focus remains on the Champions League.

Overall, the competition in the top four of the Ligue 1 table this season indeed looks more competitive than last season, but that hasn't diminished PSG bargaining power. The only way for other contestants to win the trophy is to hope that PSG experiences a severe decline, which I don't think will happen. The power gap is still very evident, PSG still looks quite formidable even though they currently occupy the runner-up position.

Matchweek 16 of 34 in Ligue 1 has begun.
The first match of the season was between Angers and Nantes.
Angers defeated Nantes 4-1. This was a major victory for the 9th-placed club, defeating the 17th-placed club, who were currently in the relegation zone.

They're not going to bounce back if they don't hold their ground and win games as they should. Luis Enrique will make sure his team will not slow down, he's in control of the full squad and will explore the features of the club. PSG will continue to win games without any stress as they should.

With two defeats already underway, we see an increase in competition in Ligue 1 between PSG and several other teams more and more interesting, although overall, these two defeats aren't enough to solidify PSG's overall dominance in the title race this season. Luis Enrique realizes that this season will not be easy. After winning the Champions League last season, the intensity of the competition is much greater, so many things need to be considered to ensure the team can regain its best momentum. Defending the Ligue 1 title may not be difficult for PSG, although several teams currently pose serious threats to PSG, but the quality of their players is still far superior to that of some other teams.

Metz will be hosting PSG in this matchweek 16 and it could be one of those easy win where PSG would walk in and take all 3pt, knowing how the home team is, playing another weak football and I don't expect them to cause any problem for the reigning champs. PSG has been struggling to be at their best in some games now and with that goalless draw they had in the champions league can be a motivation for the host team in the sense that they can believe themselves by getting a draw at least but as we all know PSG are desperately searching for a way to get to the top while waiting for the other teams (Lens and Marseille) who are playing a very tough game respectively to drop point, PSG are now in a tight corner which I expect them to come all out to rush these guys Metz, it should be a big win for Enrique.
