PSG performance is actually looking like a good team although they are not playing with dominance and success. I have seen PSG performance so far they have won a few matches in which they have had failures and defeats. So I am still not sure that they have been a strong team. PSG performance in the UCL is actually looking enough weak. PSG was not play well anyway their players are weak or injured so in addition to that they have also been seen playing enough badly at the back. If they come back, it is an advantage for them because their performance and position will be even good which will give them a lot of advantage. Although they are not a strong team compare to them PSG is also not strong enough to play strong for this year title.

PSG is in third place in the Champions league table. But they have lost the top spot in Ligue 1. PSG is the strongest and richest team in Ligue 1. Even then, they are not able to dominate ligue 1. Several important players are out of the squad due to injuries. Luis enrique should add more talented  players to the squad. PSG has a  lot of money. So it is very  important for them to strengthen the squad. Otherwise , they will fall behind in the race for both the champions league and ligue 1 titles.

The point separating PSG and Lens is only but a single point, one game can change the top spot. It's only getting tough for Lens and not PSG because there is about 18 games left to play and PSG is among the team they will have to face in the future, if they are unable to defeat PSG it continues to get tough from there.   PSG are also unable to win the Champions League from my judgement, doing it twice in a roll is possible but they aren't performing too well to acknowledge the possibility.

This slight point difference has been the main reason I have not trusted lens enough to believe they can get PSG out of the way to claim the title this season, and lens do not seem like they have the capacity to further broaden the point difference between them and PSG so most likely in the coming week PSG may be back to the top and Len possibly at the second position again. If PSG see that they have a very slim chance with the champions league, their efforts will obviously be channeled back to the Ligue 1 and you can be sure to they are going to get it.

Even though PSG is not at the top of the points table, they still have a high chance of winning the Ligue 1 title. The difference between psg  and Lens is only 1 point. But Lens' performance is very stable at the  moment. Lens has been winning for a long time. And if this trend continues, it will be very difficult for PSG to occupy the top  spot of the table. Also, if PSG's performance is inconsistent in the upcoming matches , their point gap with Lens will increase. Luis enrique has to be more aware in ligue 1 matches . Otherwise, they will not be able to regain the top spot of the table.

There is no way to underestimate Lens this season. This team is very strong. And has been able to continue the winning streak for a  long time. Lens is now 1 point ahead of psg .

Lens has a decent squad. The team's attacking players are in pretty good form. At the same time , their defense is also strong. Many  think that winning  the title will not be a difficult task for psg . But it is  going to be very difficult to regain the top spot of the table from lens. They have been performing  well for a long time and have been able to win. Lens' performance is more stable compared to psg  so far.

I am impressed with Lens's performance this season. They are doing exactly what football fans wanted because a league without competition is always referred to as a "farmers league," so we are happy that a team we never expected has come to compete hardly with PSG in Ligue 1 ahead of Marseille, Monaco, Lille, and Lyon. If Lens can keep it up like this, they will do well and try to win the league ahead of PSG.

Lens's next match against Toulouse away from home. They will do everything possible to win the match even though Toulouse is also in form this season, they will want to defeat them to keep their position above PSG.

Strasbourg, a mid-table club in Ligue 1, has not had a smooth and impressive season in Ligue 1.

Actually their start to the season in the league wasn't bad. And they managed to fight for top 4 until the tenth week.

But especially their performance on the last 4 weeks has dragged them down in the standings. They are still at the position they finished last season for now though.

So far in Ligue 1, Strasbourg has only managed seven wins, two draws, and seven losses. Their last Ligue 1 result after the Conference League was a draw in their previous the Ligue 1 match.

Hopefully, they can really pull this off. Strasbourg is currently in seventh place, which isn't bad. However, with their last four matches in Ligue 1, it would be truly surprising if they continue like that.

But in Conference League?
Yeah, I'm sure with them because so far, they become the top standing in Conference League with all wins.

PSG is just missing the likes of Dembele and Hakimi in their squad because they have been struggling to get the goals coming which have been an essential part of their gameplay but now it's very difficult seeing them break past defense and make that killer blow that always leads to goal and for sure if they continue playing like this, it would definitely affect their performance for good and alot of things can happen as even there stand in securing the French league title would be doubtful.

Yeah, Lens performance is amazing, currently they are leading league table by 1 point while PSG is not able to perform like they have done in last season, Marseille and Lille are also doing good job second half is going to be interesting because all teams will give their best because things will be on good level. Currently, Toulouse are also doing good job. Before break, they have 2 wins, this will be challenging game for the league leaders if they are able to have three points, this could be big breakthrough for them because this will give them confidence and also boost for staying at the top and keep challenging their opponents in the title race.

Marquinhos and Dembélé have recovered, but Kang-In Lee and B. Barcola are still injured. I believe that if the coach had made new signings, the team wouldn't be going through this bad situation. There are many games with the same starting eleven. PSG doesn't have a reserve team, which means that when they have games before and after the Champions League, they have poor results. I don't know if the PSG coach thought he could underestimate the Ligue 1 teams and focus more on the Champions League before concentrating on Ligue 1, but the fact is that now they need to remain very focused on Ligue 1.

It turns out there were really cup matches and that was why there was no Ligue 1 ones last weekend. Coupe de France Round of 64 was underway. Did you catch up with the matches?

As far as I can see there isn't much of a surprising result in these matches. Nearly all the favourites reached next stage. Maybe only Le Havre's loss against Amiens could be quite unexpected that's all.


By the way I saw Bordeaux being eliminated. I didn't know they dropped to even National 2 which is the 4th division in France. What a downfall...

I think having a reserve team isn’t the problem of PSG they have more than enough players just that injury hit them really good affecting most of their key players. They had a good first and second eleven last season coming into this season.
The Coach had confidence enough for the players he already had and they were really good, aside from injury I think fatigue is another problem they’re facing but good a thing they achieved more than enough last season.
The coach is experienced enough to know what is the fault of his team and I believe he’s in the process of doing that with time we’ll start seeing the results.

Lens is being praised because they have been undefeated in the last couple of games which is unlike them and their recent performance has given them the opportunity to be ahead of the best team in the league when is PSG, they can achieve 3 points from away against Toulouse if they play with the same energy they have gained in their recent games knowing that a win from away will keep them at the top as they are already enjoying.

I would like to say that it is more the good plays than the bad ones that he has made, then if we want to call it fluctuating we are all aware that a team can hardly always obtain excellent results in all the matches, PGS has a great team, a great coach and still brings home good results, If he sometimes fails to get the win or at least doesn't get excellent results, it doesn't mean he doesn't have the chance to win the championship. In my opinion, he has what it takes to be able to win without major problems.

Right now it is Lens that will feel the pressure as they continue to seek to maintain the lead whereas PSG can only continue to win their matches so as to continue to put the pressure on Lens, it's a similar situation in the EPL where Arsenal and Manchester city are separated only by two points in what seems to be a fierce competition in both the EPL and French ligue1, I don't know how long lens can hold on to their lead but I hope they continue leading to the end and finally break PSG'S dominance in french football.

Winning the Champions League is already quite difficult for PSG, even though it's a possibility. In the Champions League, every team must be in exceptional condition to face every tough match this season, and PSG are starting to show a slightly different form from last season, which was an extraordinary season for PSG. As for Ligue 1, it won't be difficult at all for PSG, although they still have to compete for wins in their remaining matches, including against Lens, their closest rival this season.

I don't see PSG as a team that's strong enough to win UCL in their current form, only if there injured players will be back from injury anytime soon in order for them to be complete and pick form. As for Ligue 1,there's nothing that will stop PSG from defending the title this season. Lens will drop points gradually.

Smiles, why do you people just believe it will only get tough for Lens and not for Paris Saint Germain, in my own opinion winning the French ligue 1 title is just 50/50 the year LOSC snaip the league from them we were all believing Paris Saint Germain would come back til the end of the season now this year again you people focus is just on Paris Saint Germain believing they will come back to the top, what if Lens refuses to lose again even against Paris Saint Germain what then would be the case, remember this is a game of football anything can actually happen, so do not be too quick to judge.

I think it will continue like this; these guys are playing better than ever and are currently leading the championship race. They will do everything they can to maintain this position, and I'm sure they will win their next match. Right now, the players' motivation is so high that even if they played a Champions League match against the best teams in the world, they could win. I think they are in very good shape and will continue like this

Still 18 rounds left in this season, 1 point difference is not a big deal while PSG is having good chance of defend title and over through their opponents, but Lens performance is really surprising because no one was expecting this from them, currently they are having 7 matches of winning streak.

Now after break, they need to be having same level performance and consistency because this is crucial time and this will give them better chance of winning in French Ligue, mostly teams lost their rhythm near end of season which always bring shocking changes in the table even everyone is still favouring PSG for title but Marseille and Lens can create big challenges to them.

Whether the point difference is up to 10 points, I will still not be convinced that Lens can win the Ligue 1 title this season. As far as they still have many matches to be played, I believe they are likely to mess up in May. That may be the opportunity PSG will use to take over first place from Lens, because Lens do not have the squad depth to continue with the great form that would help them win Ligue 1. Very soon, most of Lens players will be exhausted, and that will surely reduce their performance.this is not even the first time I have seen a weak team in great form, staying on top of the table for a while before they start messing up. So, if Lens truly want to win the title, they need to strengthen their team very well in the January transfer widow which I can say they may likely to do but even they strengthen their team not still much guarantee that the will win the league because PSG are always with strong squad and not team can be used to compared them in the league.
