The champions league is one unpredictable competition that it's very difficult to predict how the final will look like. Some clubs are doing well in their domestic league while some are not and it will be the other way around in the champions league. Sometimes a team not doing well in the group stage will go on to reach the final and even win the trophy, it an unpredictable competition. It'll be nice to see PSag reach another final again because they move in a similar way as last season but then I think they're slowly losing their team spirit, togetherness and all. These are things they had last season so now I can't say anything about them. I'd like to see PSG players back to full fitness and see if they are up to the task this season.
Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid are all good candidates to win so the challenge will be very competitive and intense.

It is too early to think about the Champions League final. The league has not yet finished its group stage, last season we saw how the knockout stage was full of unexpected results. The unexpected results continued until the final. The teams we expected at the beginning of the league were eliminated towards the end of the league and the ones we ignored ended up playing well and winning the title.

The Champions League is a competition where every participating team is the best team in their local league. So they have the ability to win every match and even if they play badly, they have the ability to come back. However, when several key players are injured, miscommunication and tactical and chemistry issues can sometimes occur, making the game less cohesive. I think this is why PSG seem to score easily in some matches but struggle in others. It's crucial for Enrique to ensure his bench players can play solidly alongside their core players.
Lens currently lead PSG by one point. But I don't think that will last long. I think it will be very easy for PSG to overtake Lens and reclaim first place. In terms of quality, I honestly see only a miracle for Lens to win Ligue 1 this season.

The quality of Paris Saint-Germain is comparable to that of any other team in that league. Obviously, the same thing can be seen in Champions League. They are at the top and are among the favourites to win both the national tournament and the Champions League.

Facing off a challenge in Ligue 1 title race was not something PSG expected at all. Injuries that they had this season did made things very hard, not that they will lose the title I am sure they are going to win it anyways, but the fact that they failed to be leader by a lot of points already is a very tough situation for them. Lens will not end up having a consistent season where they will do great, obvious that they are going to eventually fall off. But the good news for Lens is that they are not going to end up with bad results neither, even finishing top four is already big enough reason to be happy for them, so it is not going to look that bad. I understand why things may look great for them at the moment but dropping to second place or third place wouldn't be end of the world when you consider it is just Lens and they should be happy with that.

Beginners luck, that's what people say about the start of the season. Arsenal who are known & all of us know stronger than Lens have experienced it, they dominated the league in the beginning to the middle of the season, but in the end, they failed & failed again to get their PL title. You are quite correct in mentioning the favorites as well as the chances of surprises. Certain clubs such as Bayern Munchen, Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona are teams with experience and multiple depth in their squads, but the champions league is seldom as predictable. Paris Saint-Germain can still defend the title but it is a tighter position this season. The move to allow Donnarumma to go may be an expensive one given the fact that the goalkeepers are vital in the decisive knock out games and his present performance at Manchester City reiterates that fact. Nonetheless, PSG will still be very strong on paper and provided that they can be consistent and disciplined in defense, they will have all the opportunity to win it once again.

PSG are actually doing pretty good in the Champions League. They are in 3rd place in league phase man. What should they do more than this?    They finished as 15th with the same points last season.

But they are worse in the Ligue 1 if we compare it to the previous season. That's certain. Injuries could be shown as one of the main problems for this actually. Their best player Dembélé also gets injured very often this year.
