Monaco is doing the worst to poor in last five games they conceded 10 goals and score just 3 goals, performance like this let them down in Ligue 1 table and their performance in champions league is much better, but their upcoming game against Real Madrid can put them out of top 24 because their last game is also against Juventus at home, things are not favourable, they definitely need lots of improvement.

Paris Saint-Germain will face another Parisian team, Paris FC. Lens will travel to Toulouse seeking three points. We will see if the top of the table changes this week. The excitement in the French league resumes with the second half of the season.

It seems unlikely that there will be any change in the top spot because Lens will face a much easier opponent, although we see significant pressure on Lens every time they play away from home. PSG will also face a less strong opponent, so they can certainly win this match. This will be an exciting match this week because Lens must maintain their victory to avoid being overtaken by PSG in second place. I don't think there's any excuse for Lens to play poorly, as a mistake could drop them to second place.

Judging by the opponents Lens and PSG will face Klemanen's position seems unlikely to change in Week 17 as they face opponents below them. Furthermore both teams are motivated to win their first match of the year.

Furthermore Lens' performance so far has been quite good, remaining undefeated in their last seven matches across all competitions keeping them at the top of the table, one point ahead of PSG. So facing Toulouse, I think Lens will be able to approach this match with confidence as they boast a solid defense having conceded only 13 goals so far this season and are the best defensive team in Ligue 1. Louis Enrique is under pressure but i don't think he will suffer much from it, i have to say that this man knows how to handle pressure well and i have to say that he will surely be able to get out of it, he has certainly faced much more nefarious events in his life, he will make it.

While Abu Francis is absent, Toulouse have about three players away for the Afcon, playing Lens would be a tough game, if they could start Cresswell and Mark to secure the back line, then place an extra layer of defense to build a formation that won't be same with what Len is likely to play (3-4-2-1) it'll be a tough game for Lens to decipher, having both side play same formation isn't okay, they're likely to lose to Len due to their great form, so tweaking their formation to 4-2-3-1 would help hold lens down maybe to a draw, I trust what Cresswell can do at the center back with his ball stoppage skill, they is need that he starts the match.

Louis Enrique may not be under pressure now but very soon if the chances of his team not winning the league title increases then he will be under pressure because they so much believe in him to defend the title their season even as he look forward to defending the champions League title also. I think all the narratives that have developed are the result of overly high expectations for PSG, which is understandable given their status as defending champions in Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Luis Enrique still seems capable of controlling the situation, and once all of his key players are available again, PSG are very likely to return to their best form.

PSG has nothing much to worry about this season based on their standings so far in the league and UCL because they still have all it takes to top the league this season. Lens is performing well but it may not last long since they may not be able to withstand the remaining half of the season. PSG is seriously facing injuries more often than normal this season. Dembele suddenly became an injury player after winning his Balon d'Or. It's true that injury can happen to any players but I this he definitely needs a serious rehabilitation in order to maintain the level of confidence he needs to perform better.

Hakimi is currently on international duty and would resume later this January of which his resumption would help the PSG defense very well. Lens is just one point above and it's very likely PSG is going to top the table before the month ends. If Lee kang gets back real quick that will be a boost to the team too. However PSG should make do with what they have right now.

PSG, as a whole, doesn't face much pressure in Ligue 1, but when it comes to the Champions League, I don't think it's just PSG; almost all the teams there are under a little more pressure than in their respective domestic leagues. I also believe that PSG and their coach have brilliant ideas and tactics to face all the challenges in Ligue 1, and by the end of the season, PSG will return to first place and be champions again. As for the Champions League, I still have to see how PSG performs in the subsequent rounds.

This match will be quite important for Lens as they face their opponents Toulouse to earn more points to maintain their position at the top of the table. This is likely to be a fierce match as Toulouse will face Lens at their home ground with their current positive performance- it is highly likely that they will be able to keep up with Lens and win the match.

As for PSG, they could also win the match against Paris later, since they have a very high chance of dominating the game. I don't think Paris has any chance of winning given their current situation

Arsenal who are known & all of us know stronger than Lens have experienced it, they dominated the league in the beginning to the middle of the season, but in the end, they failed & failed again to get their PL title. PSG management still has full confidence in Luis Enrique. He is the only most successful coach in PSG history because he managed to win the UCL trophy and the Treble Winner last season. Being one point behind Lens doesn't mean he's under pressure, this kind of competition is actually good for him, as he can continue to improve the depth of his squad to defend the title he won last season.
He is an experienced coach, when winning the UCL trophy PSG performance was not very good, but his ability and experience made PSG succeed in winning a trophy that had never been won with another coach. The tight schedule forced Luis Enrique to make many strategic changes in several different matches, perhaps the only pressure for him was the limited number of available players due to several key players being injured, making it difficult to formulate the right strategy.

Finishing top of the league standing during the first half of the season will never be enough if they don't get to be consistent and finish stronger during this season half. Toulouse host them and it will super thrilling to see how this game comes out. They better take every game seriously otherwise they'd be carefully leapfrogged by PSG. Monaco will try not to lose their first home game of the new year, with Paul Pogba fully ready, I believe a win or draw is possible.

He has confidence that his boys will make a comeback, and he also believes the other teams may falter along the line, there’s certainly no pressure at all one point lead two point lead three point lead is nothing at all when talking about PSG and the Ligue 1. Lens who are League toppers at the moment will have to be 101% to give PSG pressure. I’m just enjoying the competition now in the league, before it used to be PSG at the top gapping others with like 5-10 points.

There is only one point difference between Lens and Paris Saint-Germain. That's not a big deal to make Lens superior this season. They are playing quite well but it was mainly PSG fault to slip few matches that cost them that place.
Regarding the next games for Lens, I think they might lose the first spot at the end of the month since they will face Marseille. If they pass safely this match, there is Monaco on February otherwise PSG and Lille on April that will make things clearer. Obviously these matches are the hardest but everything can occur in the other less important matches. I don't feel that Lens will grab the title but who knows.

Lens is really lucky this year and playing very well as a team. I'm sure nobody predicted they would be at the top at the beginning of the season. I don't think the team itself thought they could perform this well either. Also, Paris Saint-Germain's loss of points is a big coincidence. Because Paris Saint-Germain is not a team that easily loses points. I think they are at the top temporarily and they should appreciate this moment.

Lens top position is not one I consider a problem even to PSG, even as PSG is jot exactly at the top they will possibly get to the top and win the trophy, I would wish Lens will win and have a different record for the league again after a long stretch of PSG serially winning  the title, so we get to see the variety in the league.
