Lens maintains its position in the race for the top, but PSG is undoubtedly the league favorite. Next week, PSG will play away against Lens. Therefore, they must defeat Brest in tomorrow’s match. The away match against Lens could be a tough one for them. They might face an upset there. They need to avoid making mistakes against Brest so they can head into the Lens away match with more confidence. I think they’ll use the home-field advantage to win this match easily...

Lens hopes of overtaking PSG at the top of the table have ended with two matches remaining, plus two matches against the likes of PSG and Lyon. Lens beat Nantes not to compete with PSG, but to maintain their position in second place and they succeeded.

Lens has managed to maintain second place despite their losses to PSG and Lyon as they currently hold a seven-point lead over Lyon. So, even if Lyon wins against Toulouse and Lens they won't be able to overtake Lens in second place. PSG now only needs a win against Brest to secure the title.

Lens have messed up many opportunities this season, and because of that, I don’t have any hope that Lens can overtake PSG and win the league. It will be very difficult for them because I don’t think it is possible for PSG to lose two or three matches, or even lose two and draw one. We know how PSG operate when the season or any competition is coming to an end  they always look stronger.

Again, even Lens are unpredictable. The matches that people expect them to mess up are usually the matches they win, while they often mess up the matches they are expected to win. In fact, Lens are not as strong as they were at the beginning of the season. It seems almost all of their players are currently exhausted, and that is why they are finding it difficult to win matches lately.

So, even though there are only two matches remaining, I don’t think they are likely to get full points from those matches. If Lens had put in more effort in the matches where they dropped points, they might have been at the top of the table by now. But, let’s be honest, Lens have really tried this season because I never expected them to put in this kind of effort.

It was really beautiful to see the league with a very high sense of competition this season but for those who understands the league very well will know PSG was still going  to win it, if it were to be teams like Marseille or Lillie who was going heads on against PSG for the title race, then we would have expected a new champion to emerge because these teams does have the experience.

I've always believed that PSG is the best team in Ligue 1, and that will continue to be the case. As far as I'm concerned, I can say that Lille and Marseille are teams that reach a certain level or limit, so I can't say that these teams are going to make a difference. If they had wanted to, they would have already made a difference. So, can it be said that PSG is the absolute dominant force in this league.

It was VERY important for PSG to get this much ahead, and they must be thanking their gods that Lens ended up being bad at the near end. Because if it was still close, or even if Lens was equal points or ahead, then it means they would have hard time getting the league, PSG would have lost it.

That's the problem with a team that doesn't have all it takes to be champions. They start the season in a good form and overtime, the drop form because the player are tired and eaten up by fatigue. If you observed PSG performance, there was a time that they were not doing well but later, they picked form in the middle of the season and that has really helped them to be consistent with their games till date even in the Champions league.

Lens will never be able to compete with a team like PSG, neither from a financial point of view nor from the point of view of the players, they have a completely different level, yet they have put in an incredible performance so far, it doesn't seem possible to me that a team like that could have gotten this far.

Football is not all about finance alone, yeah it influences it to an extent but when you have a good management, a good manager and lastly good set of players who can execute whatever tactics the manager demands.
They could do that, PSG are just better. Do you all forget how Monaco won it with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Bernado Silva and Fabinho won it with Monaco. They got these names from youth team and also lesser figures but they gave all to win that league competition that season.

Lens are still in the game. After a modest 1-0 win over Nantes, they put some pressure on PSG, who are playing against Brest tomorrow. The current gap between PSG and Lens is 3 points, with PSG having one more game to play.
If PSG wins tomorrow, their championship will be pretty much secured. Even if they lose the direct game against Lens on Wednesday and lose the last game of the season against Paris FC, and even if Lens wins their last game against Olympique Lyon, the goal difference will be hard to make up. This stat is currently 14 goals in favour of PSG.

Also, it's important to remember that Arsenal finished top of their league table. So, on paper, Paris Saint-Germain may have beaten strong teams, but Arsenal still has a chance to win the cup. Paris Saint-Germain is currently focused on continuing their French league campaign by winning. Similarly, Arsenal is focused on winning the Premier League title. I think the final match will be a battle of champions.

Despite the fact that football is full of surprises, I can say that PSG is going to win the league over Lens. PSG has a match against Brest today, and they are the host of the match. It is very clear that PSG is the favorite team to win the match. In fact, PSG has over a 70% chance of winning against Brest today because Brest are not in their best form recently. I don’t think that Brest has been able to win even one match out of the six matches they have played recently. Even from their head-to-head record, it shows that PSG has a serious upper hand to win the match.

If PSG wins the match, they will be three points ahead of Lens, with both teams having two matches remaining. So, even if PSG does not win their match against Lens, PSG will still be ahead of Lens by three points. Losing their last game would also put PSG on the same points as Lens, but PSG would still top Lens on goal difference. That means even if Lens were able to win their two remaining matches and PSG lost their two remaining matches  which I think is not possible  Lens would still have only about a 5% chance of winning the Ligue 1 title, while PSG would have over a 95% chance of winning it. So, there is almost no hope for Lens to win it.
