Whichever wallet you use, make sure only you have access to the private keys and no one else.

Edit: You may want to look at this thread over here created by lauda https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631151.0
Might help you a choose a wallet since it explains which wallet you might want to use according to your needs. Don't skip the "best practices" section!

There are a lot of nice ones. I prefer exodus, wasabi and wallet from my signature, hah

Based on his trust feedback, I will be extra cautious trying any wallet not user any wallet suggested by this user. This user literally tried to promote a virus infected wallet while impersonating someone else.

for me personally choosing a hardware wallet to secure a large number of investment assets, for my everyday user using a mobile wallet like Trustwallet is the best choice. and to store some er20 tokens using the MyEtherWallet online wallet.

For ETH network wallets, I only use the metamask application and am no stranger to altcoin users in the world, for more than 3 years I have never experienced any problems using it, the important thing is "your wallet, your private key".

I think for any wallet make sure you keep your keys and don't lose them, better to use a personal wallet and one that is trusted or has been used by many people. for erc20 I use a trust wallet so far it is quite safe and for other coins I save in Coinomi.

Cryptocurrencies can be kept online or offline. If the cryptos are kept on the exchange platforms or other online platforms, it can be lost due to hacks.

So it is important to choose the best wallets that are safe and secure. Please help me in choosing the safest cryptocurrency wallets
just use any wallet you know you have the private keys to the wallet.. and make sure you keep the keys in a external flash drive.. do not keep private keys in your email address

Never use an exchange wallet to hold your coins.

Desktop or mobile wallets like coinomi are much better but if you really want high security use a hardware wallet like ledger or trezor.

When people ask me this question I always tell them teh same thing. It's your money and you have to decide how much you want to spend on security. If you hold 500 USD in crypto spending 100 on a hardware wallet is an overkill.

We should never store cryptos online. But if you are a trader then you have to keep. Because many high security exchanges are now being hacked like KuCoin. If you want to store crypto, you can use Hardware wallet. You can also use Coinbase wallet, Electrum wallet, Trust wallet to store cryptocurrency.

Well that is absolutely agreeable knowing that there are several hackers online so you really need to have a very and safest wallet to store all your cryptocurrencies but I think that those online wallets are innovating their safety and security to ensure that all the people who uses their platform are have a safe and sound wallet like MEW.

The issue is that those hackers are always a step ahead. They keep innovating new procedures and statics to compromise online wallets. I agree that developers are also innovating safety measures, but we can't be certain of who is a step ahead. I was surprised when I learnt that over 150 million dollars was carted away in the kucoin hack. Its obvious that this funds were in their hot wallet which was online and the hackers gained access to move the funds.

Every wallets could be good enough to be safe if you make it safe yourself, those hackers are just most time smarter than the safest wallet you can always talk of, when men build men can break. Once they know the make up. The best thing is to keep your wallet private key so safe from any device that can reveal it in any form, and be careful of any scam project registration. Some hackers will come in the name of a good project you have supported in shape of asking you for your wallet details for you to receive your token.

If we can access the private keys of our wallets, then I believe we are one step closer to the secure storage of our digital assets. I store most of my coins/tokens on trust wallet and MATH wallet because they provide us private keys.

The Answer to this question will vary from users to user.
From my personal experience many wallets are trusted, and if you are a day to day trader then oftenly try to convert the BTC to Fiat when necessary.
I have used many wallets, and are also impressed by many of them.
Generally i prefer keeping the coins in online wallets.
Some great wallets are BlockChain Wallet, CoinBase and Coins.ph(lowest fees).

Hope this will help you OP.

Crypto is stored in the blockchain network and the wallet is just a third-party application.
We can consider wallet applications of large and reputable enterprises such as Coinbase, Trustwallet, Xapo, Trezor, Leger ...
We can trust the money we store to be safe because they have years of experience and a reputation in the field of cryptocurrency management.

There are a lots of crypto currency wallets available. And many people go with many wallets. But mostly go with online wallets . But online wallets are not the safest. Good hardware wallets are the best option available in the market. Nuts the problem in hardware wallet is it's not free. Its a bit costly. Bits it's highly sucure. But if you can't afford a hardware wallet I would always suggest you that always go for official wallets or official supported wallet. That's it.

Hardware wallets are considered to be the safest type of cryptocurrency wallet since the private key is stored offline, and thus it is almost impossible to get hacked. Another method is generating a bitcoin address from a wallet that does not have an internet connection. To do this, you can use the vanitygen algorithm.

The best choice of the safest wallet is indeed a hardware wallet. But because not everyone can have it, another option is free dompe. Many crypto wallets are free to use and are definitely safe. One of them that I often use is the Trust wallet, this is the wallet I use to store crypto. And so far I have had no problems using it.

Offline wallets are safer than online wallets indeed, but online wallets are usually more convenient than offline wallets.
For example online wallet like exchange wallet, you just need to open 1 account on the exchange, and you can store many coins there.
Different with offline wallet, you will need several wallets with to store different coins in each wallets.
