To be honest I feel that I'm still newbie in crypto world but for 3 years in this system I believe I'm a hodler In fact I'm holding 13 tokens and some of it are 0 value in the market.
dont hold too long our token, sometime we dont know what actually happen to project moreover if we didnt follow their developtment progress. 3 years was very very long time for us, personally 1 years was enough to see how the developer team work. if they show their competency and show good  progress we could it longer.

I'm more like from number 1,2 and 3. I really hope that I was part of the early adopter but sadly I ain't one. I'm just a newbie trader who always makes mistakes here and there even though I've been in this field for more than couple of years. And a hodler is also my way of earnings actually. Not that everything that I hodl has brought me profits but some of them indeed turned out to be pretty well profit.

I was going to say I’m one of the early adopters, but since that is left for those that has been holding Bitcoin before the $100 price, so that makes me a HODLer. The time I started buying and investing in Bitcoin the price was a bit above $250 and after sometime it moved to $300.

The first time I got in, it didn’t take that long before I stopped because of some issues, I sold my bitcoins and after some months I sold, by the time I got back the price was already at $2,000 plus. I even felt kind of discouraged, because I thought it was late, but later made up my mind to just invest the money I have although it wasn’t enough for one Bitcoin, and that’s when I got serious to hold Bitcoin for a long time.

For me Im not in the category. Im not long time holder but only for those big coins such as bitcoin and ethereum. But I always like to trade low market cap coins. But I am being fed up with too much scam projects on the defi ecosystem. Last time I was rugged by a certain project and I thought that they were cool enough cause there are lots of investment line up on the project. Like someone send  10 eth some 20 eth then later on it scam many users.

Many people hold long because they want to get a moment like in 2017, meaning that once every 4 years the Crypto price will increase dramatically, or a year after the halving. I personally also believe in this cycle, but you only need to hold coins from good projects, which are in top 1-30.

he didnt put a trader , only pro trader . you can fall into trader category  . you said you always trade ? you can also fall in the pro trader category and also on the hodler category because you hodl eth and btc . all of us here in crypto have its own category , from pros to noobs and from trader , hodler , collector or to simply a speculator only . we ourself knew that  and we must be proud to showcase that because we excell on that category.

I am in the holder myself, because for now I am holding some ETH and several other coins, and until now I am still waiting for a suitable price for me to sell the coins I hold until now, but if the price still hasn't gone up I prefer to leave the coins at my wallet.

Actually, everyone here is from a newbie, so if you still feel like a newbie, then it's just a feeling that is out of bounds, because a newbie or not a newbie is located in science, not just a written rank, but I'm a little confused at the phrase you say this "for 3 years in this system I believe I am a fraud", may I know the meaning of those words?

There are different types of investors with varying priorities goals, habits, and tolerance of risk. Read this thread to know the type of crypto investor you are.

1. Newbie: In any industry you must first be a newbie before you become a pro. To get started with crypto you need a little capital to start. This group include those with a little or no knowledge about the crypto industry but eager to seek to diversify their investments into new high risk assets that offer a good return

2. Crypto Enthusiast: Like a newbie, the crypto enthusiast joined the market not long ago and still doesnt have enough knowledge about the crypto industry although he has built a diversified portfolio which he checks their performance everyday.

3. Hodler: They are people who will rather hold any crypto no matter the ups and down they believe one day it will get to their desired price

4. Early Adopter: The early adopter are people who got into bitcoin when it was less than $100 about some few years ago. At that time everyone thought bitcoin was a scam but they took the courage to buy some because they believed in the technology.

5. Professional Trader: These guys have seen crypto trading as a part time or full time job. They dont have concern with holding cryptos for a long time. Their main and only goal is short term profits.

What type of investor are you? Im definitely an HODLER
I think as of the moment I am still a crypto enthusiast because I just join and became part of crypto world not so long and also I am still learning on this system and hoping that I can still gain knowledge for my professional growth especially in this crypto industry.

If you look at the OP's explanation. Looks like I'm in the Crypto Fan category in point 2. I'm currently investing in projects. But I don't know much knowledge to see if a project is good or not. just following some suggestions from my friends. so that I don't have my own thoughts.

Im a hodler. For me it is the best strategy to earn in crypto. Why? Because all you have to do is to choose a good coins to hold for long period. However this requires a knowledge in order to choose the right coin that likely to give profit in the future. It take a lot of patience too because the market is moving upside down.

I've been doing this for years and it suits me because I dont need to monitor often the market. Just waiting for a set target price on when im planning to sell.

I would call myself a hodler and an early adopter these two things looks more suitable to me but sometimes I also do trade not like a professional trader but whenever I do trade it ends up with some profit so I think I am an average trader as well but mostly I focus on hodling of some good altcoins to expect good profit.

I think I am more of that #2.  I have created a lot interest in crypto trading, though with just some level of knowledge.  But Knowledge is what we seek on a daily basis, it cannot be too much.  I have also had some experience both good and bad in the industry and get more wisdom daily.

I am not in favour to hold it for a long time, I observed  Bullrun of 2017-2018 and purchased some coins but now value of these coins is near to zero ,so that is why I am holding and expecting greenery like 2017-2018.

I guess, I will be part in Hodler and Early Adopter as I cannot consider myself yet as professional trader as I am struggling in
making better progress in trading.

In holding, I am a very patient person and I really believe the potential of crypto currencies therefore I suit to this one pretty well.

I'm more of a crypto enthusiast and a newbie, even though I've been in the crypto industry for more than 5 years at a time when the crypto value was still worth $ 300, $ 400 I still lacked information on the crypto world. Especially after many new developments in blockchain technology and the presence of more and more altcoins and tokens, so I think the crypto information will never end. I am not a hodler because when I see the price go up then I will sell the crypto that I hold, I'm also not a professional trader which I still lack information and trading skills to make it my main income.

It all depends on the assets we currently have and how well our assets are worth. If it's like BTC and Eth or Top Teen coins / tokens I believe the 2 options to choose are short-term investments and long-term investments. This applies to both Hodler or traders by choosing familiar Exchange and has fast turnaround with  read current market conditions.
well I really agree with you, if you want to make a long-term investment then the best option is to buy a coin that has a limited supply such as bitcoin and can be used for many transactions so that it will provide many transactions and the price will be expensive so anyone who invests in bitcoin when the price goes up will get a lot of profit.
