I think the main question isn`t about he price, but about ecosystem and usability opportunities. There are some direct competitors like Binance Smart Chain or Avalanche and if eth 2.0 fails, then community will try to find new blockchains and technologies which complete their willings. Unfortunately current ethereum blockchain has many weak sides and it`s quite old for contemporary tasks

I dont think that any coin can beat ethereum at this moment. At now ethereum is the biggest platform based token it has also a very big marketcap. Other than this it also has a huge follower base and 3rd party dev base. In few words people like ethereum very much. In the market there are many platform based token which is technically better than ethereum. But people like then but not as much as they like ethereum. So at this moment it's very hard for any coin to touch that popularity or the marketcap of ethereum.

There are many crypto token listed in coinmarketcap and been traded in top exchanges like binance, Yobit and lDex exchange which people consider as proficient enough in the cryptocurrency market and knowing well that Eth is ranking number 2 position in the coinmarketcap, let's discuss Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?
We are always expecting innovation in the crypto market, but new currencies to beat ETH I think are difficult because ETH is so popular in developer projects and establishing new coins. |

Ethereum has always been in the top position and it has been 4 years,
there is only 1 rival in my opinion that can overtake Ethereum in second place, yes thats Ripple
Ripple has a lot going on right now, it has lose its position to Litecoin I guess and the war with SEC is still ongoing presently, few coins never remain the same again after SEC went after them, I don't think XRP is a worthy opponents to Ethereum, the best fit 🤔 is Polkadot |

It was difficult, in the past there were several competitors that in my opinion were possible to compete with etherum. there are coins like ripple, waves, bitcoin cash, litecoin an doge. each has its own advantages and there was also a good pump at the end of 2017 following the trend at that time. even bitcoin cash was a surprise in the last year. but still, the stability of etherum in terms of trading volume makes etherum prices always stronger than others.

It is almost impossible to beat the Ethereum by new crypto. For the last 4 years, Ethereum has been ranked No. 2. Many people do not like Ethereum very much for the gas fee. But Ethereum 2.0 solves this problem. Now many transactions are done simultaneously in a very short time and at a low gas fee. So it can be said that Ethereum is the only alternative to Bitcoin.

I don't know why people talking like this, maybe they need new crypto like ETH. Did you know ETH took top 2nd position last 4 years, and no one can't beat this position. Some people say it's just a matter of time, then I agree with them and I'm happily waiting for a good time.

I do not think that that is possible for many many years or till eth team makes some sort of blunder or major mistake which im confident will not happen. So with the current market im expecting eth to grow nicely and in lateral part of the year it can completely go parabolic. |

It's not 100% true if you're saying this according to coinmarketcap or marketcap. Bit time, there was a small up and down position of Ethereum from 2nd postion to 3rd position. But it's true according to demand of smart contract services, but gas fee is so much high to excute any transection/orders and hopefully ETH2.0 will be solved that. |

If Ethereum isn't careful it might actually lose its position to another coin, presently the blockchain is a pain in the ass for users because of high gas fee and now I heard a new update is coming that will reduce miners mining rewards, very soon mining won't be that profitable anymore |

For ethereum coin it has another feature which is called Erc-20 where lots of project comes through this erc-20 blockchain. That means there has a use case of ethereum. If you want to run a project through erc-20 you have to use ethereum as a transaction fee. So you have to keep ethereum by buying. That means if you buy you will generate volume for marketcap. So how is it possible to beat ethereum for a new crypto project.
