Ripple the next bitcoin?

Not at all. Ripple is too far from Bitcoin. Bitcoin already made its investors rich while ripple is trading below 1$ until now. But if we look at ripple it's a good and long-term investment. Ripple also offers low transaction fees and fast transaction. Ripple investors still need to wait for quite sometime before it will be a huge success like Bitcoin but it will not be the next Bitcoin at all.

It is not that easy to take over the position of bitcoin, it is very difficult, bitcoin is very dominant in the market cap, although currently there is no effect of the ups and downs of bitcoin on ALTCOIN

Yes, obviously this is not an easy matter in terms of taking over Bitcoin by Ripple, after all it would be very funny if an Altcoin could overtake Bitcoin in first place, if in terms of price it could be that other tokens could be more expensive than Bitcoin, but for the other side I don't think it will be easy for Altcoins to shift Bitcoin.

Ripple will never qualify to be the next Bitcoin when we have a lot of projects that are scalable and decentralized. Ripple is over-hyped from the beginning and that has shown in its price for over 2 years. Many projects are underway that will overtake Ripple in no time. Only time will tell

If you look at the ripple price chart, you can see how the price was constantly decreasing. The price reduction is primarily due to the entry of an additional number of coins into the market. This is why I don't invest in ripple because of the constant issues.

As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

maybe other altcoins could be the next bitcoin, but i'm sure the alt is not ripple my friend
because the fact ripple is a centralized crypto and of course the next bitcoin could be a decentralized crypto just like bitcoin

We have to understand for now the origin of bitcoins, until now Bitcoin has the ability to be a one trusted and powerful coin here in crypto world. If their is another coin that rising like Bitcoin is much better..

There is nothing special about Ripple, I still love Bitcoin and of course Bitcoin will become one of the favorite cryptocurrencies for everyone,

I don't think there is any altcoin that can replace bitcoin for now or in the near future. Predictions are only predictions, and have only a small chance of becoming true and even very unlikely for it. So, I don't think XRP is the next bitcooin.

I don't think so. Fundamentally bitcoin and ripple is very much different from each other. Bitcoin is loved by the community but some people in the community don't like ripple. Cause ripple is not fully decentralised. Ripple is backed by many banks and that's the problem. And if you want to compare ripple and bitcoin according to marketcap. Then it's unfair. Cause bitcoin own the 50-60% of whole markets marketcap. And it's almost impossible to cross or achieve that marketcao for ripple. That's it.

I think soon there will be new projects coming out and there will be a good future xrp project if they do more projects where it will help more and speed up the work of people with a chance to increase the price of xrp and more investors will buy xrp coin.

There are still many xrp holders because they believe that their team will do more projects so that they can better recognize the potential of their project and use it in the future.

Ripple is probably one of the most hated cryptocurrencies out there.
Main reason is that it is centralized and is meant to be used by banks.
So it's basically on completely contrary to anything that cryptocurrencies are supposed to stand for at the beginning.
Decentratlisation and to be used bye normal people.

When we will be mature enough that every project and coin is unique in its own sense and there are dozens of factors and situations effecting each and every project so we cannot just compare them.
I am sick and tired of hearing these comparisons and they sound so childish that they annoy me badly.

Value of $10 per Ripple is possible but for the dreams of the next bitcoin is very less percent to happen or maybe never happen.
Ripple is good chap potential coin and I really like it this coin too but I don't see it coin to become a top 1 or the next bitcoin.
But maybe more improvements happen maybe that the bitcoin Ripple will be qualified for the next king of crypto but now ethereum is possible.

I am sure this will never happen. Yes, Ripple is a very interesting project related to large banks and large projects. It seems to me that it will never surpass Bitcoin in terms of capitalization. He bypassed Ethereum once, but that was once.

That's a huge money if we are talking about market cap and dethroning bitcoin. Way back, indeed Ripple replace ETH from the number 2 spot.

But that's already a history and now it's far from happening again, so before ripple take the step of becoming next to bitcoin it's needed to replace eth  with high edge.

We don't know how future will proceed we are inside crypto and possibilities always
open, but the chance is really slim to happened.

It drives me nut when people compares Bitcoin with other altcoins, I don't just understand what they want to achieve, it is good or fair to compare one altcoin and the other but such should not happen between bitcoin. I remember 2018 or even till date most altcoins were challenging Bitcoin and when I checked closer their only point of challenge is in terms of speed and nothing more, the question now is, till today what have they achieved? Have they succeeded in beating Ethereum (let's leave out Bitcoin)?
I won't fail to acknowledge the fact that XRP team are doing their best o achieve more partnerships and collaborations but I can't use that as a yardstick to compare it to Bitcoin. The faster people understand that no coin can challenge Bitcoin, the faster they start making good decisions like holding Bitcoin because the future is bright.

Until now, not a single coin has become the next bitcoin. especially if it's XRP! i am not sure about that coin. if there is maybe like Eth which is closest to BTC in the market, but whatever it is bitcoin cannot be compared by any coin as well as vice versa.

Bitcoin is one of best currency with trustful profitable, show here this is my first currency when i come in crypto market. Basically i never believe any currency can cross bitcoin road so cool and keep believe your mind.

It’s impossible that Ripple can replace Bitcoin.  The number one crypto asset is Bitcoin, which is a digital currency that is more decentralized than XRP in terms of ownership.
While they do not design XRP as a currency, they design XRP as a payment settlement for banks by Ripple Labs.

Ripple's market cap is not calculated in an accurate manner, and that is how it managed to dethrone Ethereum (although for a short while). If properly calculated, the XRP market cap would be a small fraction of what is given in the Coinmarketcap table. Anyway.. now XRP is not even at the 3rd spot. Tether (USDT) has managed to push XRP further down, and now Ripple is at no.4 position as far as market cap is concerned.

Possible but it's hard to be the next bitcoin now with it's current price and volume. Maybe in the future it could be next to bitcoin hut now its ethereum coin the next crypto to bitcoin in terms of potential, price and volume trading in the market. Even if it will replace ethereum in termsof volume, it should also overpass ethereum in terms of price value in the cryoto market.

I haven't seen any good move since Ripple 2018. news comes but XRP is not a movement. I hold XRP. my bad luck.
