On the other hand, Pochettino has proven his capacity after getting support from Chelsea owners and this victory is very special after their poor performance in the EPL. The goal scored by Enzo Fernandez was also outstanding and it was a very good free kick curled over the edge from Emi Martinez. Next, Chelsea will play Leeds in the quarterfinals and that will be further proof that they are still on track to win at least one title this season.

im also feeling the same thing like you. Im feeling so amazed with the performance showed by chelsea. this is also making the situation to be even better than before. many people have been baffling caused by the poor performance from chelsea against wolves. Chelsea was not dominating the game but glad to see that some attacks were created by chelsea players are also very expensive at this time. I don't think Aston Villa had priority with FA Cup than their target for finishing on top fourth position standings, almost all premier league teams not priority with FA Cup and give chance for youth players get more minutes playing. I think that's not true, Aston Villa really tried to win the match against Chelsea in the FA Cup, but they failed because Chelsea's finishing was more effective. If Aston Villa's main priority was only about qualifying for next season's Champions League, then they might have lost in the previous round instead of progressing to the fourth round of the FA Cup. So your assumption may not be correct even though Unai Emery has made several player rotations so that his team remains fit when they face Manchester United this weekend in the Premier League.

I agree. Pep Guardiola would do anything to win the league. He is presented with a very big opportunity to top the league so there's no way he won't play with his full squad.
Man City struggled a lot at the beginning of the season, but now they've gotten their form back. They might finish the remaining games of the league season without even dropping a point in any game.

He would try to rotate his players at some point though because of the Champions League. It's difficult to say which Man City prefers most between the league and the Champions League. To me, I believe they would choose the league if offered the choice of picking just one. They won the UCL last season and this season they'll mostly want to set the record of winning the EPL in four consecutive seasons.

Has Pep Guardiola jeopardized any game or intentionally fielded the wrong players?  He would always field players that he thinks are good for the game and we shouldn't also forget that Manchester City is also chasing other trophies like the UCL. Players needs to be rotated to ensure that key players don't suffer from too much workload. Everton might not be a hard team to win by City because they have not been at their best since the point reduction.  Pep knows exactly what to do because he is not new to EPL games.

Clubs don't misuse opportunities so I think Aston Villa also had interest in winning the FA Cup because it would have secured an automatic qualification for the UEFA Europa League. Being knocked out of the competition is painful because they only have the EPL to qualify for any European competition. They are in a good position to qualify for the Champions League if they keep putting up with their impressive performance.
