You mean Chelsea has financial problems? I'm not sure about that because Chelsea already has a new owner and they have sufficient funds, in fact they have achieved records in the transfer window in the last 2 seasons as the team that spends the most money with an average spend of 600 million per season just to bring in new players. In my opinion, Chelsea are inconsistent, somehow they don't apply the same style in every match, sometimes they play well, sometimes the opposite.

Both clubs are all interested in the winnings in all leagues they are participating in this season, and for sure some sometimes they may perform below expected standards but at some point, we need to know that they are up against various other teams that are contending and fighting for the same winnings even though there are stronger then them in some matches, but generally speaking,  Chelsea and Abston villa both have had a good chance in this season and at some point, it clearly pointed to one fact to be the major challenges of both clubs which is past failure affecting them but both clubs are trying the best to restore the lost glory for both team.

I agree, and i think they are concentrating more on the cup games, now that they know the only thing they are challenging for in the EPL is to finish in the top half of the table, they cannot even qualify for Europe next season. Thus it would be good for Pochettino if he can win one of the domestic cups. Chelsea are already in the final of the Carabao cup and they are now into the fifth round in the FA Cup, there is still a long way to go in the FA Cup and as for the Carabao cup, they face off against a very tough opponent in Liverpool in the final, we'd see how things pan out for them.

I don't think it will be possible for Chelsea to finish in the top four of the points table this season. Chelsea are 15 points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa in the table. Firstly, even if Chelsea perform well and win every upcoming match, it will be very difficult to close this 15 point gap. I agree with you. Chelsea  are fully focused on the FA Cup  this season. Because the Chelsea  coach knows very well that  they have no chance of doing well in the Premier  League. And even if the  performance can stabilize a bit, this team has zero chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

After conceding a humiliating 4-2 defeat against Wolves in their last Premier League match, we  saw an excellent performance from Chelsea's players in the FA Cup match. It was unexpected for me.
