In the last few games there has actually been a slight change in terms of performance for Onana because he can do very well where some of his saves are enough to keep Manchester United's goal from conceding enough balls that make them lose and I think that is a very good thing for now.

Onana isn't a Nigerian by nationality so that's a misconception so you should take note of that, and he's been not really helpful to Manchester united with his performance since he had been in Manchester united, he has concede goals much more than he had save, in most of the games he had participated in he has failed to perform well.

Playing well in one game and being weak in another may be the norm for a striker (because you can't score goals in every game and you can't even have a chance to do so in every game), but for a goalkeeper the most important thing is average performance and overall reliability. I think we should really commend Onana for those point blank brilliant saves against Aston Villa in yesterday match, honestly I like the way Erik ten Hag had handled Onana criticism by many of Man Utd fans by sticking with him during those tough time, though it's very obvious Onana had some previous bad performances which cost the team losing some crucial matches, however Onana had started to prove his critic wrong with a brilliant performance yesterday, had he not stopped those goal bound shots by Aston Villa players Man Utd would have lost that match, though I expect him to continue to improve on his performance and work towards clean sheets in their subsequent matches.

David de Gea is not a bad goalkeeper and Erik ten Hag saying he no longer needs him in the Manchester United squad is not a valid reason. There are other factors to consider that made de Gea have to leave a club as big as Manchester United.

Andre Onana is a Cameroonian by birth and shouldn't be see as a Nigerian for any reason of you ask me. The cameroonian and faced series of criticism since the start of the season and that is because of his big mistakes that have caused Manchester United defeats. However despite the blonders that Andre Onana have committed since start of the season, Manchester United boss still keeps faith on him and in recent games, he's been very outstanding.

United are trying to make sure they finish in the top four of the English Premier League table before the end of the season which I think is very much realizable considering their current performance in the league. Also to save his job as the manager of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag must finish in the top four of the league table at the end of the current season.

It appears that Ten Hag had little choice than to release De Gea and trust Onana. I've heard Onana's performance, especially against Aston Villa, was key. Man United may have lost without his crucial saves. I think Onana is finding his rhythm, and we should give him credit.

Agree. Yeah overall Onana's performance is not very good, we can see that based on the statistics of each match or the 2nd worst among other top teams he has conceded 33 times from 24 matches even though when he played with Inter Milan his performance was very impressive but when he was with Manchester United it really didn't  expectations.

At first we thought Onana needed more adaptation but he got through half the season that should be enough for him to adapt. sometimes I think about when Onana played well at his previous club maybe because the competition there is not as tight as in the Premier League, as we know the Premier League is the most active and tough competition so not all goalkeepers are able to compete.

Ten Hag has another option. Man United has Altay Bayindir, but he rarely has the chance to play. If Ten Hag let him to play regularly, I think there is a chance for him to play better than Onana. Both are not in good form, but Chelsea is still the team that is rated better in terms of ability to win. Chelsea needs to focus on strengthening their defense before thinking about goals. Before this trip as a guest, many difficulties were predicted.
I don't think Chelsea has too much promise of leaving the field with all 3 points against the home team. Currently, Crystal Palace is not in the best form, but when playing at home, it is a different story. Remember, Crystal Palace has just had a streak of 4 unbeaten matches on all fronts at home. If they play according to form, they are confident they will get points against their neighbor, Chelsea.

United really got a good win here, that was one of the most needed three points they ever had and it is great to see them get the win there. I get that it was a difficult game and it took a lot of luck to win as well, but they played well enough.

The fact that United always starts the seasons badly and then gets better is a thing that they need to really consider, they must be doing something wrong, like maybe they do not know how to spend the summer? Maybe their summer training before the season starts, and the fact that they do bad friendlies or something? I have no idea what the situation is there, but they may finish well this season, like if they finish fourth I would not be super shocked, so they need to figure out how to start better.
