After this final loss Manchester United got I have no expectations from them to fight for top four. Because both of Tottenham and Aston Villa won their games and especially the gap with Aston Villa has reached eleven points. 

At least they could have won against Fulham but they lost even that game at Old Trafford. As Tottenham have even a missing game to play the gap with them could go up to 9 points too. Manchester United are likely to finish this season without qualifying for any tournament. They are still a part of the FA Cup but I don't feel like they can eliminate Liverpool at all. They are really weak in defense and it is hard to resist a team like Liverpool.

City were the favorites to win in the Manchester derby.After conceding an early goal in the first half, City continued their dominance throughout the match and overwhelmed their opponent.In the second half we saw a different City and they managed to turn the match around.Foden scored 2 goals and Haaland 1 goal in the match and City won 3-1 and did not let their opponent play. With this win, it seems that the championship will continue until the last week for City, who continue to follow Liverpool.Since United did not get any points from this match, the point difference with Tottenham will probably widen more because there is already 6 points difference while Tottenham has 1 game less.

City had no choice other than fully dominating the game caused by the club might have won the game against united. it's to make sure manchester united will not prevent city to get three points. I watch the game, city's attack like always bouncing when it comes to the penalty box. City needs to use creative passing to fool mu's players moved to the outside penalty box.
Goal from foden totally destroyed the stability of defensive line built. The second goal was also making the situation even worst caused by manchester united totally lost the control over its defensive strategy. ten hag tried to push it again by subs some players but it's all useless.

Amrabat did another blunder that was making united to lose three points agianst manchester city. So, nothing different compared to the first leg but manchester city showed more effort in preventing city to score.
That's the only important thing that i can see from this match. Manchester united totally defensive since the first half and it's not paid off. Well done for guardiola caused by many united fans were making rashford's shoot trending on X. King of comeback in EPL.

The defensive strategy was the worse mistake Manchester united actually did in all this because Manchester city isn't a team you play been too defensive because they will definitely look for a way to break that wall and make sure to penetrate and get as much goal as positive to make sure they win and psychologically allowing the ball stay too long around your eighteenth yard box usually exact much pressure on the team and will make them make certain mistakes which will at the end of the day become detrimental to them especially when facing a team like city who always doesn't let go of opportunities and will make sure to keep up the pressure until you can no longer bear it and give them an opportunity to net a goal. Guardiola is a very smart coach and always have his way around any team who he's playing a very important game against so he makes sure to see how best he will be able to get pass the defense system of such a team and get exactly what he wants.

The point is competition is too competitive for the current line up of manchester united. I remember when the fans praised MU's players a lot caused by it won several games against mediocre club. Villa is likely going to the UCL next season. Must feel satisfy to compete in the lower competition(europa league).

Mann, even fulham was battering brighton. There have been a lot of improvements happened to the fulham. Nine points are something hard to be surpassed when the remaining matches are just getting even less. Ten hag should take a mirror to the gameplay of manchester city.

When the match was going on, I happened to watch the match in a cafe with several MU fans, they were really cheering with joy when they got 1 goal.

Manchester United chances of finishing in the top four of the standings seem impossible with the point difference that has been created, the best hope that needs to be maintained is to finish in the Europa League zone. In my opinion, Ten Hag squad is also not favorites in the FA Cup, and it is very likely that Manchester United will end the season empty-handed without any title, their fate is exactly the same as Chelsea. There is nothing to be proud of about Manchester United this season, their journey in all competitions looks like a mediocre club. Had the momentum to finish in the Champions League zone, but the dreams of Ten Hag's squad were buried by Fulham and Manchester City.

I think it's better to say that Manchester United team did put out a very poor performance in their English Premier League game against Manchester City yesterday than to blame a particular person in the game especially the goalkeeper who I think delivered a good performance yesterday but was unlucky to be with the team that couldn't protect him as their goalkeeper. In the first half of that match, we saw how Andre Onana made superb saves including the one he stopped Phil Foden from scoring when the Manchester City forward player had only the goalkeeper to beat. If there's anyone to blame for any of the goals, I think it should be Sofyan Amraabat whose mistake allowed Manchester City's striker Erling Haaland to score the Manchester City's third goal of the match which also ensured that Manchester City took all three points from that particular game.

With that defeat, Manchester United's hopes of finishing the season in the top four of the English Premier League table I think is over now and I don't think there's anyway United can be able to make it to the top four of the league table at the end of the season.  Manchester City with that win have reduced their points difference behind league leaders Liverpool to just one point and would definitely continue to seek for more wins to increase their chances of overtaking the league leaders to retain the league title. The fight for who wins the English Premier League title at the end of the season keeps getting more interesting as the end to the season draws nearer.

This is something I always tell my friends who always want Manchester City to lose. I have seen these coming back from Manchester City for a long time, and it is always Foden. The guy is a fucking goal-scoring beast. He always takes the lead for Manchester City, and before you know it, others will follow. The truth is that if you want to win against Manchester City, you have to score more than 2 goals or 3 during the first half. Because the second half is never going to be easy for you. Statistically, Manchester United were only able to fire three shots at the goal, and one shot on target resulted in the only goal. Just because they score one goal and take the lead doesn't make them the winner, the important thing is to be ahead when the match is over. Everyone who watched the match saw that Manchester City would turn the match around, they played much better. Onana was not bad, in fact, if the score was not different, it is thanks to him.
