Impressed with that last no three wins they've had, most puzzling yet interesting was that game almost lost to Luton Town while on the road but the late winner from French international Lucas Digne gave them all of the three points to go home with during that game. Aston Villa are definitely out of the league race just like Tottenham. Both of them had the opportunity to either be on the top now or be a worthy contender but injury to some players of the both teams actually affected them. Right now both clubs only have one position to actually fight for which is the top 4. Yes the number between the league leader’s Liverpool and Aston Villa on the fourth position is not much but it will be extremely difficult to cover up that space because even if one team drops all those points, Aston Villa can’t get there because there are other clubs too at the top and you can’t expect them to all lose those points at same time.

As for the last champions league spot it will be harsh to have any of the Tottenham or Aston Villa team out, but i read that a new format could see 5th place in EPL qualify for the champions league

The way Chelsea are going about business in the remaining part of the season is a little bit confusing and is like they're just playing for no reason in the EPL, it has been a while since I saw one of the strongest team as of then behaving the way Chelsea is now. Lost the Carabao Cup to Liverpool for the second time and it's like things are fine with them, all eyes will definitely be on the coach for their poor performance (in some situation).
What is Chelsea playing for this season because at this point I don't see them struggling for anything anymore, if it's the top 4, we shouldn't go their to be honest, if is the FA Cup too, is a no no to me because they're now a team that's two steps forward and four steps backwards. I don't think the fans need to be cool about the condition of these players and every other thing that are not going well with the team.

Chelsea are losing spirit in every game they, altough are still able to get points in the league but we can see the gap that exists between other big teams today and Chelsea, since the Abrahimovich era ended at Chelsea I think that's when Chelsea's destruction began until now, some player purchases and even changes of coaches are not able to lift Chelsea's performance to be better now,  Even reportedly with the myriad of failures obtained by Chelsea this season has caused a huge disappointment in the hearts of the fans and even they are now demanding Pochettino to immediately resign from his position, as well as the current Chelsea owner who is felt not to have high loyalty to football in contrast to Abrahimovich at that time.

I think maybe we will see Chelsea glory era as a team that won many trophies in the past coming to an end, not in the sense that they will be relegated but it looks like they will return to being the mediocre club they were before Abrahimovich buy in 2003, Chelsea are currently very down and even with spending a lot of money it seems that it will be difficult for Chelsea to return to its former glory.

This is an unfortunate experience for the Blues because in all departments that are operating there are errors that the owners need to rearrange or if possible reemploy those set of people that was sacked and let's see if there will be changes. Things won't come back to the way it was if this mess isn't taken care of and from how I see it, the owners are not concern about what goes on in the club but the money that's what they're after.
Is so sad that we get to see such a big or great team such as Chelsea are in this kind of problem that seems not to have a solution, thinking of sacking Pochettino won't solve the problem, is best the owner start seeking for advise from those past legends to maybe help out in any way they can.

I don't think either of them were in the title race, i know Spurs started quite strongly this season and was on top and unbeaten for sometime, but we all know Spurs and that they could never have maintained that level for the whole season. Aston Villa too have been great this season, but they do not have the quality and depth to be in the title race, but to be in 4th position in this stage of the season and only 8 points adrift of the summit is an unbelievable achievement for a club of their level and financial strength, and it would be a dream come true for their fans if they can maintain that position until the end.
