The mistake Manchester United made, was not to use the same tactics(counterattack and counter-defense) Chelsea used against Manchester City. Ten Hag would have used such tactics against Manchester City because that's the only way to hold them to a draw match.

Manchester City is not a team to play a defense game against or come out to attack without being strategically aggressive towards them.

I'm sure there are other strategies that would work well against City. One that doesn't work well is having no strategy at all — that's how United play today and that is worse. If you chose to absorb the pressure, that's where it would be worse because if you seat deep, there's a high probability of a mistake happening that leads to a goal.

Liverpool plays a possession controlling game too. It would be a MUST-WATCH game because this is Klopp's last game against Guardiola as a Liverpool manager except Liverpool and City gets matched in FA cup which is unlikely.

It took Manchester City quite a long time to break the deadlock honestly. But after breaking it their confidence in themselves increased quite a lot to complete the comeback.  

Foden was just amazing today. By scoring 2 goals I think he made the biggest impact and he was the man of the match. But I must admit that Rashford's goal was also amazing. It came in a really unexpected time and the shot was incredible! He could have scored more goals after that if he was able to control the ball properly. But anyways, it was a deserved victory for Manchester City.

Foden in the last few games seems like he is really very comfortable with the position given by Pep because he seems to show that Pep was not wrong to include him in the core Manchester City line-up.

The brace he created in this match was truly extraordinary and now he has passed the achievement in terms of assists and is likely to pass the acquisition of goals he did last season which in my opinion is a good development for Foden.



He has now scored 11 goals and 7 assists meaning that in terms of achievements this season and last season he has experienced an upturn and it is possible that his achievements will continue to improve as long as he continues to be trusted by Pep to play in Manchester City's attack this season.

Man City is not completely scary, considering the defeat against Arsenal and the draw with Chelsea in the Premier League. Before the MU derby, Man City was rated much higher than MU, and many people predicted the home team would have a big victory against their red-shirted neighbor. But despite being underestimated, MU suddenly opened the score at Etihad Stadium thanks to Rashford's masterpiece in the 8th minute. With Rasford's goal, Manchester United made a good start to the City derby. Even Rasford could not have imagined scoring such an opening goal. I guess he scored a great goal in this match. Foden gave the answer with equal elegance in the first half. Manchester United's strong rivals have analyzed them well, they know well that the defense dissolves under pressure.

Liverpool had difficulty winning the match against Nottingham, but they managed to secure 3 points in the final minutes. One of the bad things that Man City faced was the injury of their main players. And this time, they're all back. So, they will be quite unstoppable. Like it or not, the EPL will get hotter. Winning against manchester united totally boosting the performance from manchester city. Ten hag has been pushing his player to play 4-1-4-1 fully defensive against city but city was able to perform better compared to the manchester united. It proves that if we are measuring from this match if chelsea had better defense compared to the manchester united.

Great performance by Foden. He sure is the man of the match for me besides Doku who tried really hard but often played his shot too wide. Haaland was confident and ready as a striker should be, that's why when the pass came through, he didn't think twice but positioned himself and placed the ball comfortably into the net with just one touch.

Manchester city would have to face off Liverpool in their next fixture and am sure that would be one hell of a clash between the title contenders. The match will be a very important decider on who might be champions of this current EPL at the end of season

Pep Guardiola yet again ith another great tactics today as he made John Stones play an instrumental role in the this particular game. There was no way Manchester United should have won.

I'm quite aware of the fans raving mad at the coach but i tell he is just the right man for the job. Rome wasn't build inna day right? Jim Radcliffe and his team should back the manager for his last season and sees what he can achieve because right now? The chances of Manchester United qualifying for the Champions League football competition for next season would be slim.

More interesting next weekend would be Manchester City against Liverpool? Liverpool would be without names you see, would they be able to win that game? Don't forget they won't be playing against Nothingham Forest, it'll be Manchester City.

Liverpool got a 1nil win against Nottingham Forest who are filled with surprises and I think we're going to see Liverpool on the struggling side just to keep on staying at the top, so how Klopp is trying not to be under pressure but the injuries from the 1st eleven and how they do recover doesn't tell if they're going to be that fearless leader. I'd say they (Liverpool) were lucky to manage a narrow win against the Forrest team and Klopp shouldn't be too comfortable with it because the next game might not go their way, a 90+mins win doesn't show a wonderful performance to me but the 3pts is very much important.

A good result for the Reds indeed, but their performance against a Nottingham Forest team as they were not be able to score goals early in the match. The additional time favored Liverpool side as they were able to get their last chance converted. This injuries is actually Liverpool’s performance lately because if this match was against a big team like Man United or City, Liverpool might lose the match due to lack of goal scoring ability.

Kudos to Liverpool players, they were able to maintain and keep pressing till they get their goal, and for Klopp, this win is a good one for him as he maintain his league position because their next match will be against Manchester City which we know that it will not be easy for both of them.

Liverpool score a single goal in a game in a very long while and things really fell in place for the reds and this is the first time since they haven't conceded a goal and also since they haven't scored a goal to almost the end of the game in this very season (correct me if I'm wrong), and it almost caused them in dropping point.
Indeed this game favored them thanks to Nunez who quickly returned from injury, at some point I was saying the game has nothing positive to produce since it got to 90'mins plus but that goal was surprisingly in for Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal pressure would have reduced a bit and if it were City I think they would get that goal before 90'mins but if it was Arsenal it would have ended in a goalless draw for the Gunners I think, so let's see how UTD can march City today.

Nottingham showed great defending. Nottingham goalkeeper Sels tried very well, especially in the extra time, but he could not prevent Nunez's goal, so Liverpool won the 3 points. While they were having a great season, losing points in this match could put them in big trouble. Salah's absence was felt in the match.

Honestly the Nottingham Forest side was just too good in defending in that game and this win Liverpool got is just like a life line to Klopp to stay at the top and he is going to make sure it continues no matter the absence of some key players.
Nunez is just the right man for the job and he stepped up to get that needed 3pts and I don't think they really missed Salah in that encounter because it wasn't felt to me, I think is high time Liverpool start playing without Salah with or without an injury, let that change come for the Liverpool players to get used to it.

The derby game between the two teams has become very boring since City has been the team dominating and winning the match between them whenever they meet and this game today wasn't unexpected because the performance of Manchester City is far better than that of United and looking at what City is chasing currently there was no way they were going to lose against a team like United which is not in a good form. United was lucky to even defend the early goal they got in the first half but the pressure became so unbearable for them to control as City was all over them with attacks from all angles. The game finally ended 3:1 in favour of the better team Manchester city hopefully they get to win the English Premier League again this season.

Almost last several season the Manchester derby is not really excited how easily dominance from Manchester City always winning the derby match, I can't memorize when the last time Manchester United winning the derby match and can stop The Citizen for getting three points. I think since Pep Guardiola still Manchester City manager less hope for Manchester United winning the derby match exactly in this season United have very poor performance and dropped from top fourth standings position.
The victory over Manchester United make Premier League standings most excited, Manchester City still remaining one point left behind Liverpool on the top position standings and Manchester United will get difficult to reach top fourth position with 11 points left from Aston Villa and 11 matches left in Premier League seems not easily to secure all three points and return to the Champion League spot standings position.

Today Arsenal will continue the race they will fight Sheffield United, this will be an easy victory for Arsenal because Sheffield United is the weakest team in the Premier League. I watched this match and in my opinion the chances that Manchester united had in the first half were quite good because their game looked very good and what's more they managed to score an early goal. But this match took place at the Etihad Stadium which was quite scary for the opposing team and this was proven after the second half started. Where Manchester city were able to equalize and also managed to score 2 more goals so they managed to seal the win with a score of 3-1.

Erik Ten Hag was on the sidelines and he looked very happy after his team managed to score an early goal. But the happy was only temporary because in the second half Pep Guardiola men managed to score 3 goals. Manchester city is so strong and this is the reason they are difficult for other teams to beat and for Manchester united they have to admit that currently it is very difficult for them to beat Manchester City.
