Manchester United performance after the first goal of the game was very poor they would have done better than that, the tactics they apply by defending and counter attack, the attacking performance was too poor atleast dey tried defensively at first half and little bit at second half but just can contain a well attacking Man city side. They allowed Man city in control of the game too much, Well what a nice display from Man city they did well to defeat their neighbours both in Manchester United home and their home, Phil foden was really a problem to Manchester United through out the game, his performance today was outstanding all throughout the game. The race for the title 23/24 season is a three horse race both Man city and Arsenal are mounting pressure on league leaders Liverpool is going to be interesting as all teams keep mounting pressure on each other.

The first half lead Manchester United had didn’t give me much hope as the opponent they were facing weren’t a small team.
Rashford scoring a goal made me happy as I like the player and hope he does score more goals. But the first half lead quickly turned around as the second half saw Manchester City waking up and scoring three goals to help give them the victory. I had hoped Man United would hold on and hopefully score more goals to increase their lead but that wasn’t to be.

I didn’t have high hopes of Man United having the win and I really wasn’t disappointed when they lost the game.

In the first half, Ten Hag seemed to really pile up all the Man United players in defense. The players also managed to reduce Man City's shooting space very well. It is evident from the first half statistics, Man City managed to take a total of 18 shots, but Man United managed to block 8 and Onana also performed well in the first half. And Man United's goal in the first half was also very good from Onana's cross and then Bruno's neat touch and Rashford managed to get his rocket shot, it all happened in exactly one moment.

However, entering the second half, Erik Tag Hag seemed to have difficulty controlling Man City's attacks, especially when a player like Alvarez came in, then Ten Hag added Antony, then Man United's game was destroyed. Man United's weakness was also seen in Man City's second goal where the Man United players were not ready to face the Man United players' fast attacks. Man City's second goal could be said to be an epic goal resulting from good teamwork where Kevin De Bruyne and Foden both managed to find empty space.

The conclusion from this Derby is that Man City is indeed very strong compared to Man United. Pep Guardiola always has the right strategy so that Man City can make opponents try to defend strongly, but in the end they concede. Man City's next match is against Liverpool, of course this match will really determine the fight for the EPL title.

Manchester United leading Man City at the break of the first half is some unexpected result especially after that City performance against Luton, and them getting the early lead is something didn't really see could happen with United's shaky form...And Rashford getting a goal against the citizens is definitely a confidence booster that he so needed at the moment to silence his critics!!

And with the second half coming, am thinking  that's the real test to see if the boys can be disciplined at the back to avoid any clumsy fouls and the alike, otherwise GG United

When we equipped i saw that the mood of Manchester United players and there fans have changed. Because they know that if we start scoring we won't stop untill we are satisfied and that is what happened. Foden and rodri did a good job today the way Manchester City was playing United i was tapping some Manchester united fans to see how we play football. Onana will continue to be a very bad goal keeper. United thought Rashford can stop us. And the stats were crazy because we went hard on them during the second half. Let me not be to hard on Manchester United fans the game ended 3:1 what a margin. I knew we can not lose that game, Manchester United is not qualify to beat us.

Successfully scoring a goal first in the first half still didn't make Manchester United successful in winning this derby match because indeed, Manchester City has also been the unbeaten team at home so far this season along with Liverpool. Therefore, even though Manchester City lost 0-1 at halftime but yes, in the end Manchester City was still a great team who managed to turn things around in the second half and Manchester City even managed to win big 3-1. Obviously, at this moment Manchester United is still not at the same level as Manchester City, because Manchester City also has a better squad of course.

But regarding the next match between Liverpool v Manchester City, I personally hope that a draw will occur again, the same as in their first meeting this season. But Manchester United tried to show their capacity to put up a fight when Marcus Rashford scored that breathtaking goal. The goal was also orchestrated by a wonderful pass from Onana. United was able to hold the game until the second half when Foden struck with another quality goal. United was punished for giving the English striker space to use his dangerous left foot. 

The game between Liverpool and Manchester City might not decide the winner of the league but it will contribute to it. The winner of the game will be able to gain an important three points which will have an immense effect on the title race. With some Liverpool players recovering from injuries, we might see a game that will look like a finals of a competition. I am predicting that the game will end in a draw or City will carry the day. Very disappointing performance from Manchester United, i also thought they could win the match because i missed the first 20 minutes and after seeing Manchester United take an early lead i thought they were playing well and rushed out to watch the match and i was disappointed with the way they were playing, they lacked confidence with the ball and lost almost every ball at their feet. From seeing their performance i just knew they couldn’t win the game anymore, if Manchester City sees too much of the ball they will keep pressing and pressing until they get  the goal and that was what happened in the second half.

Excellent first goal from Foden, he gave the keeper no chance. Foden was excellent in the match, he scored two goals again and he is like a nightmare for United’s defenders. Haaland was also able to increase his goal tally as he scored the last goal from a defensive error. It was a brilliant overall performance from Manchester City they played well and deserved to win.

Manchester city was really deserving of their win today and Doku as well as Folan was brilliant in their performance. Foden somehow knew he was gonna score and when the opportunity came, he didn't hesitate to shoot it past Onana.
Doku needs to work on his outside shots, because he would have scored had it been he was good with outside shots like foden did.

Yeah here we can see that Manchester City and Manchester United are at different levels Manchester City is able to dominate from all sides while Manchester United couldn't do anything and I suspect they are just aiming for a draw, unfortunately Manchester City did not give the opponent a chance. Now the title race in the Premier League is getting more exciting and we have 3 teams that are struggling, Liverpool and Manchester City managed to win the last match and in less than 30 minutes Arsenal will also play their 27th match but Arsenal seems to have more luck because they are playing against a weak team.

This race will be clear when the top 2 teams battle each other next week yeah Liverpool vs Manchester City, we know Liverpool are in an advantageous position because they play at home but on the other hand Manchester City is also on fire after beating Manchester United a few hours ago I mean this will have an impact on the players' confidence.

Too much I want to say but nothing is worth saying when they have no positive results, all I say would eventually not make sense because Manchester United failed to win or draw this bloody game.

What a pity for United as they conceded 3 goals in the second half. It was clear from the first half that City will win the match due to the way they were mounting pressure in United box. I don't know whose fault is this, maybe it is the fault of the coach or United players who are not playing the game as if they have legs or know what to play.

It was indeed a total humiliation for the Red Devils tonight to lose a match they scored first and held it throughout first half. Right now the major blame is on the coach and there is serious pressure for him to be sacked as can be seen trending on Twitter. If Ten Haag escapes this one, then he stay at Old Trafford will be long. As usual, Onana was not spared in the blame as he is also trending on social media. Recur that He has been at the receiving end of several criticism following some major losses of Manchester United. I think he has to do better to win the confidence of the supporters once again.

Manchester United's performances have not really been nice this season. In most of the matches they have been playing and winning recently, it’s just because they were not playing against strong teams. Manchester United will find it difficult to win any top club at the moment. I had full confidence that Manchester City would win today's match.

Even if Manchester City is playing and they concede like two goals at the beginning of the match, I do have confidence in them to equalise, so an early goal doesn’t matter when playing against Manchester City. Even if you try to play a defensive game after scoring Manchester City, they will try all their possible best to break the defense.

Even if Manchester City is playing and they concede like two goals at the beginning of the match, I do have confidence in them to equalise, so an early goal doesn’t matter when playing against Manchester City. Even if you try to play a defensive game after scoring Manchester City, they will try all their possible best to break the defense.

Have you met Chelsea? A team doing worse than Man Utd according to the EPL table but when up against a big team, they can give them a solid run for their money. Just few weeks ago, Chelsea held City to a draw at the Etihad stadium - it would've even ended in a loss if not for that late Rodri goal. That's why I'm not surprised that some people expected Man Utd to put up more fight than they did today. As a Liverpool fan, I was hoping Man Utd will make City drop points today ahead of the Liverpool vs City game next weekend. But it was not to be.

A quick look at the stats shows that Man Utd didn't really fight back at all. They just scored early and sat deep till city equalized. Then came out to attack which opened up for more goals.

I wonder what is ETH's strategy will Utd though, I watched today's game and there was none.

The fight for the top table is getting fierce and the first top three teams on that table needs to be collecting all three points in their remaining matches in the league in order to stand a chance for the league title. The result is not surprising to me because Manchester City have more confidence and zeal than Manchester United in winning the match.
