Brighton managed to defeat Nottingham Forest 1-0 at home.Brighton's chances of 5th place are pretty much gone after the recent points losses.I don't think they will qualify for the European Cups.This game was more important for the away side. I must say that they are close to the relegation zone of the league and every point is valuable for them now.This defeat could be disappointing for them.They didn't play much better than their opponents but the defeat will be a bit demoralising as it was the result of an own goal.

Disappointed we didn’t get the win today. We have so many injuries, I’m surprised we dominated Man City in the 2nd half. I guess a point is OK but think we missed an opportunity to really put some breathing space between us and them.

Man City play Arsenal at The Etihad next and we play Brighton at Anfield. Lots of injured players will be back. It’s going to be a real battle for the PL title.

Arsenal has finally succeeded in taking over the first position they have been long waiting for, I never believe that they will be able to enter the first position after there fall on the early time of this season, so actually the draw today between Manchester City and Liverpool turn out good for arsenal, so right now they will change there method of play so that what happened to them last season will be averted because entering the top position of this premier League again is like a second chance for them to correct there mistake so right now the question will be that would they be able to maintain the top position?

The outcome that Arsenal has been waiting for a long time has finally arrived today after Liverpool and Manchester City draw. While many were surprised by Arsenal's performance, it is not a result of bad luck. Chance Arsenal also worked hard and played well in their match against Brentford yesterday. Fans had assumed that Arsenal would draw after Brentford equalized in the extra minutes of the first half due to a careless mistake by the Arsenal goalkeeper. It was a truly thrilling match. In performance-wise, I think Liverpool played slightly better than Man City. Liverpool had several opportunities that could have turned into goals but Stefan Ortega played quite impressively tonight and he managed to thwart several opportunities that Liverpool had, and for the rest of the opportunities failed to become goals because Liverpool did not have a good finishing touch.

I think with the draw that Liverpool and Man City got, Arsenal should be able to smile with satisfaction because they remain at the top of the standings for now. A situation like this makes the title race even more exciting.

From what I saw in the first half, City was stronger, and in the second half, Liverpool, and significantly. This is what caused the replacement of KDB - the weakling Guardiola wanted to keep at least a draw. It’s a pity that Liverpool couldn’t punish them, but on the other hand, this draw is in favor of Arsenal, which is also not bad - now the two clubs are above City and I’m completely happy with that.

I still believe that the big surprise are still in front and as things stands the 3 teams has every chance to win the league, but the moment any team drop points that's the end of the road for them.

Well well , it seems Arsenal are 1st in EPL right now because Liverpool vs City just ended with a draw , some drama on the pitch but also outside of it. I also hope Arsenal will continue the current winning streak for at least 3 more games as I'm sure one either City or Liverpool will stumble again and lose some points and I think City will be the first who stumble as they want to go back 2 back UCL winners and I'm sure this is their main goal right now.

The match ended with a 1-1 result and it seems now Arteta and his player in Arsenal should be very happy to see this result between Liverpool and Manchester City, in fact, Liverpool got 64 points so far in the premier league just like Arsnela and if they won Machester City, they could take the first place the table from Arsenal. Although they are in the top of the table, it is just temporarily. Arsenal still has many tough matches in the future. Arsenal even has 2 big matches in the near future, they will play against Chelsea in matchday 29 and Man City in matchday 30. There is a chance to lose points in the 2 matches, so we can assume that there is a chance in the position again. But if Arsenal can win those 2 matches, they can stay in the top position. I did expect a fierce match between Manchester city and Liverpool and it happened so. But my joy was cut short when Diaz was unable to convert some brilliant assists given him. I am English premier League fan and I am just tired of Manchester city domination of the league. I am a Manchester United fan and I will support either Liverpool or Arsenal to win the league title.

I do believe Liverpool more than Arsenal. Arsenal does not resist pressure as they can easily just give away their first position status in just next match. I would have been glad if Liverpool won but then it is still good that Manchester city didn't win.

Is not as if I am underrating Asernal ability to sustain the first position they currently occupy in the first place,  but the fact remains that,  judging from previous experience from such games and situations,  Asernal have always shown a lot of lack of consistency in this kind of situations and for that,  we tend to lose faith in their ability to indeed finish strong when the climb to that position by accident and not by work of the team efforts.

So for sure,  Asernal with all the previous premiere leagues' success records,  still needs a lot of effort to but back the trust of fans and football spectators to believe in their ability this time,  because the main fight just began for Asernal so for that,  this is not the time for Arsenal fans to be celebrating as if there have already won the league title already just because there just top the table for the first time in this season.
