In the early season matches it is quite difficult to make predictions because we have not seen the real strength of the team and in my opinion what is seen in friendly matches cannot be used as a reference.

Man United may be slightly favored because they will play at home but I think Fulham also cannot be underestimated and as I said earlier that in the early season matches we cannot measure the strength of the teams so it is also possible for surprises to occur especially now that many of the Man United squad are injured.

Because this is the opening match everyone wants Man United to control the game and successfully bring home 3 points. On paper Man United should have been able to win the match easily, but remember this is a different Man United and in the hands of coach Ten Hag so all expectations attached to Man United are no longer valid. As a result I can still favor Fulham, because Man United losing to a small team is no longer a surprise. This club still needs to improve in terms of player recruitment and management.

The opening match is usually very important to win because it will give the team confidence in starting the season. So I think this match will be won by Man United, especially as we know this match will be played in front of their own supporters, of course this will be the reason why Man United is favored to win in the first match.

Moreover, this season Man United has brought in several new players. Especially in the defense line such as Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui, as well as striker Joshua Zirkzee. Although Yoro was not played because he was still injured after pre-season, it will not make it difficult for Man United in this first match. Man United this season will be better than next season, indeed in pre-season they got mixed results but when facing official matches like against Man City a few days ago they showed a significant increase in performance even though they finally lost on penalties. I am actually not impressed by the stat I am shown here. Despite that Neto is just 24, but this stat is not as outstanding as the hype is. I am not surprised because the England is so good at hyping and especially Chelsea fans.
Todd seems to believe in business and quantity, which is the reason Chelsea might also not succeed this season. Chelsea need a manager who thinks about results more than business and this is the only way Chelsea will grow.

Doesn't the fact that at 24 years old you play like a veteran without being afraid impress you? Yes to me. I would like to have 100 of these young players who play without fear in very tough competitions, they would be a significant resource for a team, just by renting them I could live on them for centuries of income.

AS an opening match of the season I am yet to underestimate any team against the other for now not until a few games has been played with each team displaying their form of the new season. However, Manchester united appear to be the favourite in tonight's game as a result of their glory in the competition. Manchester United have no excuse to lose this game, the odds favours them, their squad depth favours them and most of all they're favoured by the home advantage, this is the beginning of a new season and starting it with a home game means their fans would come out massively to support their team, the last thing they need in that game is losing, not even a draw cause fans would be highly disappointed and all blames would be on Erik Ten Hag since he's the manager of the team, so I believe he'll pick his best squad and give them the right motivations to win this opening game. After what Rashford did in the community shield game against Manchester City, I think he should be benched for this opening game, Garnacho deserves to start, after scoring the in that match, it shows that he's fully prepared for this season, I'll prefer a front three of Garnacho, Zirkzee, and Amad, Mason mount ain't benching Bruno yet so Bruno, Kobbie and Casemiro would also start then a back four of Mazraoui, Martinez, De ligt and Dalot would do, with such line-up Manchester United would and are expected to win and probably with a cleansheet for to make their fans happier.

Statistically, and based on previous matches, Fulham won their last match against Manchester United, but Manchester United used to win them in several occasions.
Fulham also made some signings which include Smith Rowe from Arsenal and the young player have recorded a goal in their preseason match; I will expect the game to be tough but United should take the lead narrowly.

Fulham did not play so badly last season and took a place away from the relegation zone from the EPL, so it is strange that today bookmakers give odds of 5.6 on a Fulham win, and only 1.6 on a United win. I think the odds on United's victory should be higher, at least 2 or 2.2, but not 1.6, because Fulham almost every match scores and this match will not be an easy walk for Manchester, so maybe it makes sense to take a risk and bet on a draw in this match, especially the odds on a draw 4.3 is very good.

I settled my prediction for Man United this match, base on their recent match seems the Man Utd will take this series, on their previous match in FA Cup they take 3-1 against Fulham but on the recent event Fulham takes 2-1 against Man Utd headed by Bassey and Iwobi so it seems possible a draw match of 1:1 this series or the Man Utd will take the lead.

At least, let's just look forward to how the results Chelsea will get next season because after all, there are also many hopes about their new coach who they say will be able to make Chelsea in the upper zone of the Premier League standings. Although indeed, I also may not be entirely sure even though they rely on young players, but it seems that they do not have good chemistry and by not having good chemistry it will be difficult for them to maintain good and consistent performance.

Unlike Arsenal who do not always change coaches, so even though they still fail to get trophies, but at least in the last three seasons Arsenal have managed to improve their performance and quality. Therefore,  continuing to change coaches will also basically not be good, so do not be surprised when Chelsea still fails despite spending a lot of money to recruit new players and coaches every season.

As far as football is concerned, anything can happen, so it will not be a surprise to me because even last season, Fulham was able to defeat Manchester United at Old Trafford. But honestly, I don't think that surprise is coming tonight. Fulham's performance is not bad based on their preseason matches, but looking at the way Manchester United performed against Manchester City in the Community Shield, it shows they are well-prepared for the season matches. So tonight, if I should judge Manchester United against Fulham based on my own analysis, Manchester United will score three full points out of the match.

Honestly, even if I want to bet on the match, I think Manchester United winning the match is the best option because I don't think the goal count will be high in that match, so risking over two goals may not be as favorable as a straight Manchester win. Manchester United can win the match with just one or two goals.
