If you think about it, Ten Hag is not too bad to be a Manchester United coach but he trusts one or two players too much. Even though he can still use other players when the player makes a blunder and I think this is what needs to be fixed because now he has great players in the team. In his first season with Manchester City, he was able to score 36 goals in the Premier League, 12 goals in the Champions League and 1 goal in the EFL Cup, that was a very extraordinary thing because he didn't need time to adapt. This season he started with 7 goals in the first 3 matches, clearly this is a very good capital for him and also Manchester City. Meanwhile Liverpool in terms of squad depth seemed to be given a treat seeing Man United weaknesses. So actually if Liverpool maximized their performance, more goals would be scored. Arne Slot did not want to rush so he just locked in 3 points without giving Man United a chance to score a goal in return. I'm sure Mo Salah and Diaz are still not satisfied with scoring goals. No matter what, this is the true quality of Erik Ten Hag, no matter how great the players he bought when in his hands will be dull and useless.

What do you mean past few seasons? Discussions like this are evidence enough to say that football fans and Manchester United fans forget what Erik Ten Hag did for Manchester United during his first season in charge of the club. That same season, we also saw David De Gea winning the Golden Glove Award, No? That was because of the great defending of players like Lisandro Martinez, Rapheal Varane, Diego Dalot/ Aaron Wan Bisakka, and lastly Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw.

Already Mohammed Salah was linked to a Saudi move during the transfer window but seems he got some conviction to stay back at Liverpool and he decided to stay so it's good he didn't go to Saudi league even though he could have earned higher at Saudi Arabia but he should just chill at Liverpool yet and hopefully he can get more trophies with them. One thing that makes a player have a fulfilled football career is when he wins more trophies instead of settling for higher earnings without trophies.

For this season, Salah can still compete with other top strikers and he is still in the top 2 meaning he still has the ability to be a main choice in the lineup. United is not a club that does well during transfers, they spend hundreds of millions of dollars every single year and they get bad results every single year, so it is not a shock that they did purchased so many players for so much money again and yet they are not doing well.

I guess that when Yoro comes back that will help their defense a bit, and with more time the defense will adjust to each other so they will be better than they currently are, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a good result overall, they will end terribly. salah can not be mistaken for leaving Liverpool because for a very long time now he has had the best shot that Liverpool can have so I don't think even Liverpool is ready to let Salah go he does most of the work for Liverpool and they should be lucky to have a player like salah, does Saudi guys are smart and they will pay anything to get their player of interest to their side and their target is always players that are already established they want their league also to be very important am just wondering what made them very interested in football and I think since they hosted the last world cup they would have been very interested in sports and they are loosing up a little because they have a lot of rules guiding them.  no matter the offer I don't feel like they will want Salah to go because it will put everything at risk even last season when Salah was injured performance of Liverpool was no longer straightforward forward, also found it difficult to perform well all because Salah was absent. The start to this season was really bad for United, and it's not fair to blame the coach for everything, but it's really easy to do that, and that's what happens majorly. I think Ten Hag got enough backing by the management, and now it's time for him to take things seriously, and fix everything that's going wrong. From a neutral perspective, his football is confusing, and that should not be the case. Cloudy approaches never work out.

Let’s see what happens over the next couple of months. I would love Salah to get a 2 year extension (after this season) to take him to aged 35 but I don’t trust our owners at all. FSG hate giving big contracts to players over 30.

Salah, Van Dijk and Trent all can leave for £0 next summer as their contracts expire. It’s awful planning by the club, all three should be offered new contracts ASAP.

Their squad is looking really solid right now, and I agree that they can take on any team right now and beat them.

In the EPL thier squad can really compete against any team but in Europe there are still teams who they will likely struggle against.  Though Arsenal squad now is really tight even during injury woes they can still scale through much more better than last season.

But you also have to realize that they still aren't the best team in the league, Man City have always been more consistent, and Liverpool always haunts them one way or another. Now they already have a draw, which was a home game, which they definitely should have won to start the season on a high note, but yeah draws are negligible.

The draw against Brighton was somewhat  understandable especially from the fact that Declan Rice got a red which literally affected them and not ignoring the fact also that Brighton defeated Manchester United a week before that and though getting a draw against them in a 10 vs 11 is understandable.
Though this doesn't mean they can't do better to win against all odd of being able to still compete against teams even if they are one man down.

Also I think while Arsenal might not have been much consistent than Manchester City, they have much improvement these past 2 seasons especially the most recent, which shows a sign improvement while comparing both Arsenal and Liverpool, I think Arsenal is even more consistent than Liverpool especially how Liverpool ended up finishing third after being like the title favourite among the 3 some time last season.

And UCL has more games now, so that will be a problem too. If they want to keep up with both tournaments, they have got to be more resilient than they were in the past, and that can help them go to the next level, and they can start winning big trophies too.

I guessed this was also among the reason they got Sterling to support Saka, is good to see these players looking sharp, I hope Sterling do well and then they have to sign him permanently from Chelsea.
