And I can't say that Arsenal have some kind of recession, they are playing well, I think that tomorrow they will beat Aston Villa and start to regain their former confidence. I think Manchester City's take on the psychological advantage rather than the standings is a big problem for Arsenal. The motivation of those who come from behind is higher. Arsenal, on the other hand were sitting at the top with a point difference, but everything turned upside down just in three games. They have to properly manage the psychological pressure this creates. Otherwise, the bad results will continue. They should definitely win tomorrow's Aston Villa game and end this bad streak.
This will be the biggest test for Arteta and the players. For weeks there was an air as if Arsenal had already won the championship, but now there is an air as if the championship has been lost. If they can manage it, they will succeed.

It will be sad if Arsenal will try all their best to remain at the top of the English Premier League table till this moment but in the eleventh hour thy dont win the title championship.
Arsenal has remained at the top for so long and I believe it will be fair if they have a test of the championship.
But it is not by wishful thinking, the absence of Jesus Gabriel and party is the problem they are having I don't think that Jorginho is a Perfect Replacement of Thomas party in the midfield

Yes indeed they should be grateful for their achievement this season. Arteta have really worked on this arsenal team and truly they have evolved in their gameplay but i certainly agree with you on this opinion about them not reaching the standard of winning the league this season, they would definitely need luck to be on their side to see them secure the epl title this season. Manchester City are not known for going down after climbing on top the epl table so arsenal are certainly in for a run for their money after loosing out their first place position to Manchester City.

Arsenal are about to repeat the same mistake they made last year. If you can recall well, last year when Arsenal were trying to get to the top 4 they were fourth but then they failed to win the games before the head to head and then lost the head to head losing their position as a result.  It seems like we are about to see a repeat of it. It is game over for them if they can't become clinical in both the attack and defense in their forth coming matches.

It's really unfortunate when Arsenal have to achieve negative results in 3 matches so that makes them have the same number of points as Manchester city. Even though they still have 1 game more than Manchester City, but mentally now I can say that Manchester City has more big morality than Arsenal. Now the only option is they have to keep winning every game, if they still want to be in that position, if they miss even one game then it will be detrimental for them.

From the beginning of the season, we have seen consistently good performances from Arsenal in every match. But suddenly they lost form. We have seen poor performances from Arsenal players in the last three matches. They have lost two of the three matches and drawn one. Arsenal will face Aston Villa in the next match. And this is Arsenal's away match. If Arsenal loses points in this match too. Then this season's title win will be uncertain for Arsenal. The Manchester City team is in very good form right now. If Arsenal wants to win the title, they need to play consistently well again.

The condition of facing Manchester City and losing might be considered as one of the fairness because indeed looking at the conditions and quality you can say they are comparable it's just that luck is not on your side but when only 1 point against Brentford and dropping points with Everton is really not good for them.
At this time Arteta clearly has to make a new breakthrough because if that is the case then this is no different from Arsenal last season's victory and their points gain at the start of the season would not really matter if towards the end of the season they had to fail.

The Premier League is very competitive, different from other leagues, because you can see that the teams in the Premier League, on average, world-class stars play in the Premier League team, and every season there is always quite fierce competition in winning trophies. I think Arsenal this season they are doing quite well but dropping points for in vain is something that shouldn't happen but that is the obstacle that has been the challenge for Arsenal this season. I can't even believe Arsenal were beaten by Everton but the truth is that Everton were able to win that game.

From the current standings table Manchester city is the leader of the standings with only a goal productivity advantage and Arsenal still have 1 match left, I think arsenal can return to the top of the standings if they can win the 1 match they have in Week 23 .

Liverpool's job is going to be quite difficult against Newcastle this week. But after winning against Everton in Anfield I hope to see them playing better. Liverpool need to be very effective in attacking again. Unfortunately Diaz is still injured which is a big loss for Liverpool. Because Diaz has been a very crucial part of the Liverpool attacking line. They have been much more productive in his presence. But at least Firmino is back finally. He was in the subs in the latest match but I expect to see him in the starting eleven this time.

I would like to see Firmino instead of Nunez on the field. This would mean a lot for Liverpool about scoring goals. In this case I think they can really win this.

I don't expect any problems from Manchester City in the away game against Notthingham Forest tomorrow. Arsenal should also be able to win quite easily from and at Aston Villa. Liverpool will have a much more difficult time in the away game at Newcastle United. They are perhaps a bit better as a team than Liverpool at the moment. It is still waiting for Liverpool to turn around, with the beautiful football that won them the CL. Or will we not see those times in the EPL again this season? I'm afraid of the latter. All they can do is try to enforce CL qualification.

But indeed, if you look at the actual momentum, this is the right thing for them, if indeed they are able to do that, especially with the condition of the players and seeing their performance from the previous few seasons, this is a season that really should be a differentiator.
It's just that it's like you said, it's not easy especially this is the Premier League where every season there must be a lot of conditions which are really very difficult for absolute domination because the competition here is very tight which makes this even more difficult.

I think City is capable of winning both in UCL and in premier league as well. I agree that Arsenal could take the position back with that extra game, but I do not think that City would lose more than other teams just because of UCL, they are a big team with a great deal of depth and they will probably use some bench players which are still good enough to beat most of the teams in the league.

Injury could make players worse for a while, even if they are capable of playing, they may not be as strong or fast as they used to be, this will take a while before he is as good as he used to be, but even if not, dude is still an amazing player without a doubt.

Manchester City have the quality to compete and win these trophies, they have made the premier league a farmers league. The uefa champions league is a different arena for them, they are competing against top teams like Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich who are also deemed as favorites to win the trophy this season, it will take Manchester City to remain consistent and keep an outstanding performance to make it to the end.

Arsenal still have a chance to reclaim first place from Manchester City, but now the pressure of competition from these two has increased. Of course Arsenal were very disappointed with their failure to gain maximum points in 3 consecutive matches, that's 2 defeats and 1 draw. Obviously it has saved Manchester City and returned to the main position in the Premier League with a high goal difference compared to Arsenal, but things are not finished because Arsenal still seem strong enough to get competition.

If the two teams both manage to win all the points in the rest of the season, then Arsenal will certainly win the title. But I expect them to compete until the end of the season without leaving either side with a large gap in points. In my opinion, there are 3 toughest matches that are still waiting for Manchester City in the Premier League, those are against Chelsea, Liverpool and also Arsenal.

Because they couldn't get a win in their last three games as you know and this has caused them to lose their lead to Manchester City. They are still at equal points though and Arsenal have a missing game to play later on.

Arsenal need to turn this into an advantage for themselves. The only way is to win all of their games until they play their missing one. Aston Villa are stumbling a lot these days so I hope to see Arsenal recovering by this game.

Actually I don't think Arsenal really targeted the title this season at the start of the season, but because they are the most consistent team from the start then the fans and all the players can expect it, especially with the points advantage over Manchester City. The most realistic target this season is qualifying for next season's Champions League, but if Arsenal can lead the standings with consistency then there's nothing wrong in hoping for the title.

The problem is Manchester City. Of course they are the most dominant team in the Premier League in the last few seasons where they have secured 4 titles from 5 seasons of Pep Guardiola. Manchester City has great interest in defending its 5th title in the last 6 seasons, so we can expect good competition in the top 4.

Arsenal lack the basic skill and pattern which result into a lack of factor that will guarantee successful winnings this season, even though their displayed competence at the beginning of the season by beating all other teams to stay at the number one spot for many weeks, then we all know that that position will not last long.
-I was never expecting Asernal to finish this season as the winner and I know clubs like Manchester City and Manchester United will also compete for the same position as Asernal even though the other big clubs like Liverpool already underperforming.

The fact that they've lost three games in a row doesn't show that tenacious prowess in them., And I don't also think they were belittling any club -- not to the point of losing three times straight..... That's ackward!!!
Yeah, that fact's true. Arsenal has the same grade-point with City, although city has played more games, I don't think they'll easily get the chances of going back to the 1st position....maybe except they have City losing twice which, in turns is impossible at this state ....lol

If Arsenal can win all of their games from now till the end of the league they would be English premier league champions but that task is crazy hard, in all honesty it would be an amazing last games.

Tottenham are one of the disappointing teams of this season truthfully. Because they had such an incredible start to the season but we all see where they are now. That Tottenham is still long gone and Conte is unable to bring it back yet. They have lost their place in top 4 after starting a poor form consequently. Newcastle and Manchester United were there to benefit from the situation. This can't go on like this for Tottenham. This is unfair to Kane as well by the way. He is one of the most scorers of the season but his team still have difficulties in finding a place for themselves in top 4.

Their defensive effort was terrible against Leicester. This time the opponent is West Ham and they will be expected to make a huge improvement. I'm expecting Conte's team to win this time.

Arsenal has a crop of inexperienced young players that are very skillful but skills alone might not be able to give them the trophy. Currently, they need a lot of motivation and focus because they might start playing under pressure because Of the loss of the top position to Manchester City. I expect Bakayo Saka to put more effort because just like Erling Halaand the Arsenal team is relying so much on him. I think Arsenal didn't maximize the January transfer window, maybe they thought they have already won the league. Nevertheless, this current Arsenal team might still do wonder this season.
