The only game that will be played today is between nothingham and Newcastle, the home team is still in danger of relegation they are only two points away from the 18th position, newcastle team on the otherhand are only 4 points away from tottenham and the fourth poisition with two less games played which will make the game interesting since the stakes are high for both teams, the game will be tough for newcastle but i think they will manage to win.

Newcastle had a streak of 5 games without a win but after beating the wolves I hope they are back on the winning track so I think the 1.72 odds the bookmakers are giving them to win is beneficial. With Nottingham Forest scoring very few goals (at the worst record level in the league) and conceding a lot of goals (also at the worst record level), I would even consider betting on Newcastle to win with a -1 handicap.

this is the 26th match for newcastle united this season and the opponent they are facing is nottingham forest where they are currently in an unstable form. Everyone was shocked to learn that Arsenal had been eliminated from the Europa League. Maybe their opponent is Southampton which are at the last position in the standings now. They can still be an unpredictable team from time to time. Their having a quite effective game against Manchester United and stealing a point from them should be a good example for that. Tottenham just can't underestimate them in this situation.

Winning such matches is really important for Tottenham as well. Because they are defending the fourth position which is the last ticket for the Champions League. They don't have much luxury of playing complacent now. They got a reassuring win against Nottingham last week which can be some help here.

I also don't think they are ready to compete in both competitions yet, it's too intense and takes a lot out of them. They have three very important games in April, especially against Manchester City, which could decide everything. Otherwise they have opponents they can easily beat, they haven't been this close to winning the league in a long time, nevertheless, we'll see what happens in April.

Newcastle are good but I think a lot of you are getting carried away with how good they are. They are not title challengers and they are not top 4 quality. They have had a good season but do you think they are on the same level as Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United? These teams have been in the top 4 consecutively for many years. Newcastle suddenly got a lot of money and are now challenging for top 4 but it does not mean they will get it. Some people are talking like it is guaranteed. They do not have the experience to challenge for top 4 imo.

But on the other hand we also have to be aware that this is an early threat from Newcastle.
Now their conditions are clearly not the same as in previous seasons. With the power of money they have now and with the much better performance this season, of course this will still continue to grow because of course next season they will also continue to buy players again and again to upgrade their current squad and it is possible that there will be several players great that already has prestige later.
