But the reason that Arsenal didn't have that many chances also was because we finally saw a different Liverpool again. Liverpool is a weird team this season. On the one hand everybody knows that in theory they could perform, on the other hand in practice they just can't get their abilities onto the pitch.

The penalty would have given them more time right after half-time, but apart from that chance they also had a big one in the very last minute where I still don't understand how that one could be missed. And the one shot from Salah that was defended by the goalkeeper. When I saw the ball flying I thought that's it, but it was an outstanding save although the ball was deflected, too, and got an additional spin because of that.

Firmino is helping liverpool to leave the unlucky situation. The failed penalty by salah has made so many people feel disappointed including me but finally with the come of firmino was saving the club from the loss. I don't even know why liverpool wanna try to sell a good player like him once he is still having time to play in the various competitions next season. Arsenal must delay its party caused by it has not yet been safe from manchester city. The manchester city is still having a chance to win against arsenal soon.
The duel between city vs arsenal has not yet started. This gonna be epic game caused by the winner will determine the winner of EPL too. The match is having very fast tempo. Arsenal and liverpool are always trying to attack one each another.

I do like this kind of match that was triggering the heartbeat by any supporters from arsenal and liverpool. this is a great match for this week. it's actually worth spending a few hours watching it from the start of game until the end of game.

If Liverpool had been a little better at finishing off their goal positions this season, they could have ended the season in a better place. Of course, Salah should have turned the penalty into a goal, but they missed a lot of goals throughout the season, just like in this match. When the midfield and defense problems were added to this problem and their incompetence during the transfer period was added, a bad season was inevitable for Liverpool. I think if they make a few quality midfield transfers that can support the forward line (Gakpo, Salah and Nunez) next season, and if they manage to solve some problems in defense, they will manage to get a strong position in the league title race again next season. After all, I would like to thank Liverpool for giving Manchester City an important chance in the championship race by scoring points from Arsenal in this match. I love them. :)

It wasn't an easy game at all but Tottenham managed to beat Brighton home anyway. Because Brighton had quite many chances to score goals and they even had the highest percentage of ball possession during the game. I don't know how Tottenham let them play better than themselves here. They are still not playing good enough for taking a place in top four as a result.

They have no other option than keeping getting wins to be able to stay right behind this area. If they can't even join the Champions League then I think Kane would think of leaving the team more seriously.

Poor Penalty shoot from Salah, This is not the first time he has missed something like that
I have seen against Bournemouth, he shot his shot wide by the left side of the goal post
He should have been awarded a late penalty but the referee said no too light to be awarded

Arteta can't still believe that they're no longer 8pt clear off Man City but 6pt, is like losing two games and boom Man City are top of the table. It will be very disappointing and a big disaster if Arsenal can't lift the trophy this season after much struggle. I feel it will be laughable and a slap to the faces of the Arsenal fans if they end the season without a trophy and no excuses are welcome to as why they didn't win the league without being in any competition but still lost this one time opportunity.

The game between the Gunners against the Liverpool side would have been a done and dusted game only if the Gunners would have created a very strong shield at the back when it was still 1-2 even when Salah missed the spot kick, the entire Arsenal team would have taken advantage and punish Liverpool by pressing hard, defending at high level and probably score a goal to secure their lead but they couldn't do so, only for Liverpool to come back and get another goal to level up the game 2-2.

Firmino is helping liverpool to leave the unlucky situation. In the last two seasons, Firmino lost his position in Liverpool but at least in this season, he has helpful contributions for Liverpool as a substitute player for them. Firmino has better converting rate than Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo. When those players fail to score goals, Firmino can help them to resolve it.

I guess Liverpool want to replace two of three players in their trio, Firmino, Mane and Salah and they tried it with Jota, Diaz, Nunez and Gakpo. So far those new players could not adapt well in the club and their contributions are limited. They also contribute to a worse performance of Mohamed Salah. However, in the match Salah did wasted some opportunities and in some situations, he should make key passes to his team-mates who are at better positions rather than try to finish it by himself.

Your opinion is right but Salah actually had a bad match as in his good day, he can score a hattrick with those opportunities. Klopp in a press conference after the match, told that Liverpool would have won that match with chances they created.

But he only told one side of his team, another side is very poor performance which gave Arsenal two leading goals. In both situations, Liverpool defense system worked very poorly.

I wish Arsenal won this game because I believe they technically deserved the win there. It is true that they became a little complacent after a point which they shouldn't have done. Because this caused them to give big spaces to Liverpool and they benefited from these opportunities really well. Of course this is still not a too bad result for Arsenal as they didn't lose at least.

But there was a big opportunity there to beat Liverpool in Anfield as they were vulnerable. Making point losses is making things more dangerous for Arsenal considering their title run. But I think they will start winning again by their next game.

Liverpool's two golden opportunities to fail to score were a loss, for some reason it had to be Salah who took the penalty kick because in the previous match he failed to execute it perfectly and the chaos in front of Arsenal's goal in the final seconds of the match could not be maximized by Konate either. Klopp was quite successful by entering Firmino once again he saved Liverpool from defeat in front of his own fans, but from 5 matches only earning 5 points is not a good thing for Liverpool.

Manchester City got beneficial after Arsenal draw against Liverpool and current standing have 6 points left with Citizen have one match left, both team between Arsenal and Manchester City will face each other three weeks later and become proof which one potential winning Primer League season 2022/2023. If have the same points, Manchester City get advantage because they have scored many goals than Arsenal and chance for the Gunner still not close yet for winning Primer League if crucial games winning against Manchester City.
