Newcastle have to go for it now if they want to secure their spot for champions league nest season but arsenal are doing a good job by slowing the game by small faul and running the game out of play it is a season for Newcastle in taken chances arsenal have not been better than them or had a clear good chance but they have been clinical when needed

Newcastle actually didn't play badly, but Arsenal did have a pretty solid defense. Even though Newcastle increased the tempo of their attack when the game stepped into the last minute but all these efforts can still be thwarted by Arsenal. Newcastle's loss will be an opportunity for Man United to win third place. That could happen if they can beat West Ham.

Not that it would change a lot at this point, but at least we can be following the premier league with some curiosity about the next games. Brighton is not to be underestimated and Manchester City is still going to play there. Who knows it seems unreal that they could lose two games. There could be a tiny possibility between the Real Madrid games as well should Guardiola decide to rotate a couple of players in and out.

I like many others I believe were deceived by the bookies and bet on Newcastle to win,something in normal circumstances I would never bet on them and bet on Arsenal on that very good odd of 2.85 but as dumb as I am I thought that maybe Arsenal had lost motivation to continue fighting for the title,something clearly wrong by my calculations.

To be honest I was expecting the match to end as draw, with the way Newcastle is fighting for top 4, I was expecting them to do everything possible to win the match, but unfortunately they lost to Arsenal.
