It was a really delightful game that's for sure. I think that Liverpool will succeed in qualifying for the Europa League at least. When it comes to the Champions League, their job is really hard against Chelsea and Leicester. But they still have a chance of course. Besides, there is going to be a game between Chelsea and Leicester in 4 days. And this could be a golden opportunity for Liverpool to be able to take the 4th place.

Liverpool have only Premier League and the only mission is taking the fourth position from Chelsea. They don't have any other competition to fight but the latest reaction of Sadio Mane shows the internal relationships between players, players and coach in Liverpool might not be good.

Injuries and internal conflicts are big problems in this season. Injury storm might disappear but the internal conflict must be resolved as soon as possible. It is hard to say which team is better for Premier League if they take the fourth position and last spot to Champions League. Chelsea and Liverpool are both strong teams in Premier League and they are competitive in Champions League.

I agree. Liverpool's problem was not only the injuries they have faced so far. It looks like there are also some in-team problems which causes them to have difficulties in focusing. As long as they don't solve it, they may have the similar problems in the next season also.

Yup, leea, quite like Salah for Liverpool. Actually can't remember the last time he missed a penalty. He has a unique style I used to think was risky but he's always on target so good for him. We haven't had many penalties this season but that's fine too...

Leeds, Saints, Brighton wins for me today. Probably a deaw would be wise but most of them have nothing to play for now except West Ham but I'd really like to think those with less pressure now will play more aggressive football for goals. Can be strange when you no longer have pressure to play with freedom. Which makes our game tomorrow also dangerous but I prefer to play aggressive teams as we get more space to play up front.

He missed one against Huddersfield in his first season with us. It was a bad penalty and a bizarre situation as well because we didn't have a specified penalty taker then. Milner was usually taking them but when he wasn't playing you never knew who was going to take it. So, Firmino was first one we tried, he missed, then Salah missed so we switched back to Firmino, he missed again, then Mane missed the next one. If they scored, maybe salah would not be taking them today.

But after that miss he scored all of them and now has 16 scored out of 17 attempts - which is a great result. I disliked his style at the beginning as well but he's worked on his penalties a lot and he really takes them confidently now.

Newcastle gave a good resistance, I was surprised to see Newcastle able to make a goal earlier than Man City...

Ferran Torres is the 'man of the match' in this match, he managed to make a hat trick and made Man City not lose face.

Newcastle had such a good night today and I would've watched another 90 minutes from that game as it was really intense with a lot of goals and crazy chances to score. I think without Torres , Newcastle could've won today and I don't think City could come back from 3-1 but yea, Torres was in a splendid shape and manage to score a well deserve hattrick.

Chelsea has to watch out for Torres in the UCL final...

If you guys didn't watch the game won yesterday by Manchester City, watch at least the highlights: an amazing game.

Yeah Newcastle lately have been giving up a tough contest no matter what their opponents are. They definitely have some good players like Maximin , Shelvey, Joelinton.. Yesterday's match it felt like more of some errors which led to Newcastle goals but honestly they did pushed the City to make those mistakes. They were good to charge inside the box and surprise them. Well it's been a while since we saw someone giving City tough time and let alone pushing them to concede 3 goals.

I understood his anger and a defeat against Arsenal did certainly affect the team confidence. Another defeat today will be catastrophic for them before CL final game.
Leicester will try to get its first trophy and Chelsea will fight for its 9th one. Odds are in favorites of Chelsea @2 - @4 for Leicester. Dunno but I think Chelsea has slightly better chances to win this game.
Brighton - West Ham is an interesting match today, if WHU still cares about a CL spot.. Their 3 remains games aren't that hard just like Liverpool and easier than Chelsea for sure..

Ah man, you certainly helped trigger a memory but yes, Milner was actually our designated penalty taker for a while (he was pretty okay too actually, no nonsense) but I know he still takes it if Salah isn't on the pitch. It's actually pretty amazing to look back and see how Salah became our guy for penalties but wow, 16 out of 17 is as good as it gets for anyone!

Huddersfield narrowly missed relegation too, for another throwback. Not nearly as dramatic as Derby, but it's crazy just how easy it can be to slip down the waves once you relegate from Premiership money.

Leciester are not pushover either this is football anything can happen the last match  Chelsea played against Arsenal the odd favors them to win and played well eventually Arsenal won, today's match is 50:50 of course they can take all the possessions with just a single mistake they can get punished.
Its a good thing Tuchel winning his first trophy for Chelsea as their manager having improve the team since his arriva however the task ahead of him in winning this two trophies wouldn't come on a silver platter

I agree. Liverpool's problem was not only the injuries they have faced so far. It looks like there are also some in-team problems which causes them to have difficulties in focusing. As long as they don't solve it, they may have the similar problems in the next season also.

Liverpool's problem is not just an injury problem. There is a lack of coordination among the players on their team. Moreover, the players have lost their morale due to poor performance in the first few matches. It looks like Liverpool have failed miserably this season.

I think a little differently about Chelsea's performance.  I think in the FA Cup, Leicester will be the champion.  I don't understand very well what strategy they employ in their match.  But several times the team's inconsistency resulted in victories for the opposing team.  I saw that during the Premier League, Chelsea lost several times with teams lower in the standings.

There are lot of things to protect right now for Chelsea. They obviously do have dense squad but there are not many impact players. As for Leicester they don't have much games to play and have very good strikers as well. So yeah doesn't feels like it's gonna be too easy to say Chelsea win.

Of course it is not easy to say that one of them will easily win this match. Although many users believe that Chelsea will win the match, no one can guarantee that they will win easily. I hope Leicester can play well until the end even though it looks like they are not the favorite.

Thomas Tuchel and thr Leicester Boss Brendan Rodgers will both be looking for their first piece of silverware in the job and though Wednesday's Premier League meeting between these two could prove to be a playoff for Champions League qualification.

We have had on average a minimum of 4 goals per game since Manchester City opened this round of games...what's happening are players showing a sign of motivation or these guys have dropped their guard and taking things at ease??

I think I can bet on West Ham to win... Odds of 2.3 are very attractive! They need to score points to get into the UEFA tournament! And it's much easier to do it with the underdogs...

I hope West Ham can keep up, if am not wrong this is one of their best seasons such that the have come this close to the top four, they won't give up easily and am backing them for a win too.

The best case scenario for Chelsea would be to win the FA Cup today, get into top 4 and win the CL League. Tuchel is definitely trying to make this happen but honestly, I dont think Chelsea would be able to get three of those. Its either 2/3, Fa Cup and possibly top 4 at the very least. If Chelsea win this game, they are most likely going to win the other game with Leicester in the coming fixture as well

Its pretty even statistic between those two H2H record, out of the last 5 matches the results are 3 draws and 1 win for both sides. Sticking with Leicester for today, its always good to sweat with the least favourites team to win

The VAR decision cannot be contested, of course this is detrimental to Chelsea because it does not look offside and only displays karema from the side so it looks like someone is advancing but indeed the referee has decided it is offside and it is the goal that was annulled for him.
Even though I saw in the statistics Chelsea continued to press Leicteser but could not penetrate it, I admit that Leicester's defense was strong enough and the match ended for Leicester's victory to become the FA champion.
I hope that Chelsea at the end of the CL final won't get any more bad things that they don't want.
