Speaking of Chelsea, I've also heard that Chelsea and Manchester City are preparing to leave the European Super League. And the other teams in this tournament also are going to hold a meeting to think about revoking it. It looks like this tournament will end already before starting.  

Too much has happened in football over the last few days. I just realized it now. They may not simply resign from the ESL if later demand are made by the ESL against the team involved. Based on the information I read, these teams had to pay fine if they decided to resign from ESL for breaching the contract. I don't have any accurate news on the matter yet, but it is true that football is in chaos. Meanwhile, FIFA also does not want this ESL competition because according to him it will destroy the existing order in Europe.

Meanwhile, perhaps I will not ignore the current match that is taking place. Chelsea have struggled to score against Brighton so far, there were no goals until the first half was over. It is unfortunate if their great opportunity today should be thwarted by Brighton.

Before that, I didn't expect that Brighton would bring trouble for Chelsea because many thought that Chelsea was against a weak team. But even though today Chelsea dominated the match, no goals were scored until the end. Really bad luck for them even though 4th place was secured.

i wasn't expecting to see Chelsea failing to win either, but you can't say that Brighton is a weak team, they managed to beat Tottenham and Liverpool back to back in the premiere league this season, so they're not really that weak, no team is weak in the premiere league.

It was shocking news to me when watching CNN I've heard both   Chelsea and Manchester City are going to leave the European Super League and their decision is final. They said several other teams prepare as well. Interested what those others are and why all of decided to leave. I think they’re  going to lose from this move, nothing positive for their fans.

They have to flip their plans under the pressure from Premier League, UEFA and FIFA. They will change their minds and plans when Super League is in place and officially goes life without restrictions from UEFA or FIFA. I doubt that the Super League will become true.

In my opinion, I consider it as a net attempt from super clubs in the Europe in order to pass the pressure to UEFA to change the Champions League's structure (acceptable clubs, allocation spots to big leagues) and furthermore, higher financial allocation for super clubs. I guess it is the ultimate aim of super clubs when they planed and announced that news.

Super clubs are in financial debts and they need bigger budget from UEFA. Same as super stars when they said "I will no longer play for the club if my salary requirement won't be fullfilled". At the ends, they stay and get double salary.

Yeah, it will be hard for these clubs to act like nothing happened. These incidents will be remembered in the future too. Stepping back from this move will not change things very easily.

I too was very surprised that Chelsea couldn't win the match versus Brighton yesterday, but anything can happen in a match, even a weak team can possibly win a strong team. Chelsea won the FA because they have the hope they can win the cup this season, but can not win premier league this season again, though Chelsea must be very careful as they are in the fourth position and only surpassing West Ham with just goals as they have the same points, so can be able to automatically qualify for the next Champions League.

You're right. Chelsea is too unstable this season. They win against tough opponents but share points against easy opponents. I think they are focusing mainly on the Champions League this season so they are not performing as well as expected in the Premier League. Otherwise, they would not have performed so badly against a small team like Brighton.

On the other hand, I think Bringhton is good too, their defense is pretty good. Besides that, it seems that Chelsea is also not being able to concentrate because of the issue of the European Super League. I heard that initially Chelsea was one of the twelve initiating teams. However, because their hardline supporters refused, Chelsea have withdrawn from it. I heard that the match was postponed because the Chelsea bus was blocked by supporters who refused to have the European Super League.

Chelsea should be able to solve the problem of this very busy match schedule by rotating players. Because in my opinion the Chelsea substitutes have
almost the same quality as the main players. I agree with the bad results against Brighton, there is a possibility that Chelsea players are disturbed
by the European Super League issue, so Chelsea players are distracted by their concentration. Moreover, Chelsea's next match must face West Ham
who have the same points. This is an important game that Chelsea must win if they want to be in the top 4.

Interesting turn of events for Prem League Champions League chasers. Chelsea, West Ham and Liverpool all dropped points, leaving even more narrow spaces for those spots.
