Next week, Eddie Howe's squad will play against Brentford. If Howe doesn't do something about his team, then they will have difficulty returning their squad to a better performance. in fact, they have the potential to be defeated by Brentford. It doesn't seem like it will happen in a short time, because after all, Eddie Howe gave his best last season to be able to bring Newcastle to finish in 4th place in the Premier League. We don't have forward that can be relied on and thats has been our problem from last season but the coaches and club owners has refused to recognized that. They thought they have solved that problem when they signed Nkunku but forgot to do their due diligence about his injuries. Nkunku doesn't play a complete season without having some injury crises and that's what has begun without the season starting properly. Sterling can't be relied on every game because he isn't a consistent player. The only reason he was doing so well at Manchester city was because he was surrounded with world class player with lots of experience and a worthy manager but at Chelsea things hasn't been as expected.

It appears that Chelsea has quite a load of homework at hand right now. Indeed, at the start of this season, Chelsea's games have seen them control possession more, but they've had fewer scoring opportunities. Acquiring the best striker won't necessarily make the team stronger in a short time because this isn't an individual game.

It seems like Pochettino needs to put more thought into improving the attacking and midfield lines so that the variety in their attacks can synergize effectively. Plus, the unfortunate twist of fate with Nkuku's arrival, who has only been on the bench due to an injury.

Despite recent transfers, Allan Saint Maximin departure has created a glaring gap in the offensive lineup. Isak is a competent attacker, although his abilities fall short of Saint Maximin. Three losses in four games indicates a severe concern for the team performance compared to previous season making offensive problems an urgent priority. To reclaim their competitive edge on the next road a quick assessment and correction are required.

More reasons for Everton to beat Arsenal. They need to start winning to convince their supporters that they will not be sent to a lower league this season. The coach also understands the pressure and know that if he does not start winning games soon, his Job will be hanging on a thin thread. During his first games as Coach against Arsenal last season, Everton were able to put a dent in Arsenals pursuit for the title, the coach can repeat it. If Everton win against Arsenal, it will be a big mental boost for them in the premier league and they may improve from there.

We can still say that this is the beginning of the season, but i don't have much faith in the club that they can make it strong to defeat mane clubs in the Premier League. Everton's performance was still the same from last year that they lost on form, making it difficult for the club to come together again. If care is not taken, they may end up in relegation this season.With the way Everton has played, it is impossible to expect them to defeat Arsenal; it will be very challenging for them, and I predict they will lose. We cannot just state that Everton's performance has improved from last year and that they will defeat Arsenal despite the challenge.

Because Arsenal has a better players this season, even though they won against arsenal last year, i believe it will not repeat itself this season Arsenal has a great squad and Everton will face big challenges.

I don't think Maguire's problems will cease if he continues to remain at Man UTD. Like the guy should come with a warning sign or something. With his penchant for creating own goals I feel Brighton would want to capitalize on this. Last night in England's friendly against Scotland, it would have been a clean sheet for the Three Lions but no,. Harry Maguire had to drop his signature move in the 67' and provide Scotland a goal.

He has slow speed and made some personal mistakes that caused conceded goals for opponents. Worse, he made his ogg goals like in Scotland match. That is not a situation he can not control especially the pass for Scotland is not too difficult but Maguire did not have good space feeling so he felt dangerous and just lifted his leg to touch the ball.

With all poor performances and terrible mistakes from Maguire, if you are his coach, will you use Maguire?

One mistake, one goal can entirely change the match and with Maguire in your defense system, it can happen anytime.

I agree that I wouldn't use him. Dude was never a great defender and I still do not understand how he gets all that time both at club and the national team. It makes me wonder if there are no other people but at the same time I am sure that there must be "someone" that could be picked over him in both club and at nation.

I think he is staying at United for some weird injury reasons because United keeps getting their defenders injured and that causes him to stay to replace the hole left by them, but aside from that I do not see how that could be changed, I feel like it should stay about the same and wouldn't really have a big change in the end. I hope that United could find someone much better at that position.

Maguire has been a weak defender and a sluggish one too, he isn't that careful with the balls at the defense, and he forgets that he is the last man standing. As he is getting old, the mistake he does. I don't know how he do have the opportunity to always be selected in professional matches, when he will make mistakes that will lead his opponent to scoring.

His stay in Manchester United has been my problem because he will always have an opportunity to feature in matches due to injuries on the defenders. Eric Ten Hag should strengthen the club but I don't know how he will do this because the players that he bought recently, are not performing their job.

Every team including Newcastle had some time to correct their mistakes as they had a 2 week period without play because of the Euro qualifiers,they will have to show that they have really changed and that they need to be more pragmatic,their problem of always including last year has been the ability to score a lot of goals,even last year despite finishing so high in the table they most of the games did not score many goals and for me that is an indicator that the team is suffering in attack,with the leave of Maximin things become more complicated so I have to see these 2-3 games that will be played before we have another break for another round of Euro qualifiers in October.

Ten Hag has been with the team for a long time. But still not able to stabilize the party. Manchester United's performance towards the end of the previous season was very good. I doubt the Westham team will do much to topple Manchester city in their match on the weekend. Even with Grillish, DeBrunye injured,  it is still a difficult one for Westham.
They may opt to play more defensively and hope to capitalize on a counter attack. Haaland is still in form and if Manchester city keep possession and press, all Westham will be praying for will just be a draw.

While De Gea conceded 43 goals last season, it wasn't his fault alone. The performance of Manchester United's defenders may have been the cause, so I wouldn't blame him alone.

We know De Gea is no longer young and he is already 32 years old. It feels like De Gea still deserves a place in Manchester United's squad this season instead of letting him go without a club, that's clearly not the best way to honor his service.

Manchester united have weak spots, perhaps Erik Ten Hag is working on it. Andre Onana is absolutely a good choice for the Red Devils, his presence is significant for the team. He is new in the club, it's just a matter of time before he fully adapts with Erik Ten Hag pattern of game. Manchester United signed quite some quality players this summer, checking the likes of Mason Mount, Rasmus Højlund and Sofyan Amrabat. These new players are yet to displayed or contribute positively to the team, but the Red Devils supporters have exercised patience as they're keen on watching these players at top level.

One weekend fixture I’m anticipating to watch is Everton vs Arsenal. Arsenal looks like the Bette team to win this game but they have failed to win Everton at Goodison park for more than 3 seasons now. Irrespective of their form, Everton always find a way to defeat Arsenal or play out a draw. I don’t know how this one will turn out to be, but I think Arteta might have found the solution to that Goodison park jinx.

This is a tough fixture for Arsenal, we know both teams have quite and interesting history in past meetings. I can also remember losing 1-0 to Everton last season, that was one of the games that decided Arsenal’s fate in the race against Manchester City for the league title. I’m curious to see if Arsenal can win this time and keep their unbeaten streak running. My prediction will be Arsenal to win and over 1.5 goal margin.

The thing is, West Ham have nothing to lose, they basically have to come into the match, stick to their gameplan and try to punish Manchester City when they have the opportunity to, it is obvious that City will have most of the possession and West Ham know they will have very limited time on the ball, so whenever they get chances they have to make them count.

Having said that, i think there's going to be goals in this game, both teams would score imo, but City are going to win, prolly 3-1.

The bad news for Manchester City is their Croatian player Mateo Kovačić was injured when he returned from the fifa day games, Mateo Kovačić couldn't help his national team against Armenia and Latvia.
Left joined Manchester City in this transfer window for 30 million euros during this summer.
This palyer played in six games so far for Manchester City but the performance of Kovačić was not good enough and now getting injured can make everything harder for him.

He was in a good shape, Ten Hag just wanted an upgrade to a back man that knows how to make use of his both legs to play the ball.
He had a good record with United bit it was time to let him leave. Same way Ten Hag now has to let Maguire leave United. Sancho leaving too since they both can not come to agreement with whatever that is best for the Man United jersey. The coach is superior and remains Man to make decisions.
With how David performed during the last cup game against City Ten Hag knew it was time, as he won't be part of the new season players.

David Degea and Andre Onana have their own abilities, hopefully they will both achieve achievements at their respective clubs. It's as simple as this, there is a time for everything, Dee Gea has probably been guarding goal longer than Onana, maybe D'gea's time is running out. However, regeneration of goalkeepers continues to emerge from academy graduates, therefore ETH will probably use Onana who is fresher in terms of age and tempo of play which suits ETH, both of whom are equally good in their respective eras.

I seriously agree with you on this. But I wouldn’t blame it on age but rather evolution of football pattern. De Gea Is the best shot stopper you would ever find in his era, and if people want to use this to rate Onana then it will be hard not to find fault in his performance. De gea was definitely lacking in his ball playing ability although many will say it is not part of a goalkeeper’s duty but we have all seen how that has change modern football. Onana ability to play out from the back is an excellent value and addition to team and will help shape the way they play. Also Onana has a better shot stopping ability but the Media are just after him to prove a point. De gea also had very poor start to his united career and also to the start of last season.

The only thing is the goalkeeping department is not entirely why United are conceding goals like they do, the other parts need to do their work properly. Personal i haven’t seen a single goal conceded this season that I would say is the fault of the goalkeeper but rather sluggish play or defending by other players
