Liverpool's first match is vs Leeds...  Not to be underestimated imo with Bielsa at the helm.  Bielsa prolly already has spies taking note of everything about LFC's training and Klopp's strategies.  Grin

1 - 1, 0 - 0?  Double chance and under 2.5 goals combo is at 4.8  Grin  You could also just take the double chance at 3.75.

Ah, someone agrees. Leeds had a very good championship season last year and they were also made to play offs in 18-19 so yeah they are not to be underestimated. Game is gonna be real good.

Chelsea brought in a lot of new players so we will have to see how will that work out and if they will need to time to adapt.I do think that Chelsea, if things work out, has the potential to fight for the title.

Well they have really widen their squad with new players but they have to really use their players wisely and make it up to the 1st spot and finish the season. I've heard they are trying to off load some players starting with Ngolo Kante (right now interest shown by Inter).

Leeds was the best team in English Championship for two years already.
They were the team that clearly deserved to play on the first division.
It would be nice if they buy good players and see them getting a europa league position it would be a real success for them.

This is practically impossible. There are 4 teams that are automatically in the top 6 (City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd) and the contenders for other Euro places are Arsenal, Tottenham, Leicester and probably Wolves as well.
The best chance for Leeds to get to Europe would be through a cup competition but I don't give them much chance there as well.

They should build slowly and first try to become a stable PL team (placed between 10-14 spots) and aim for that Euro spots when they reach a certain level. I like Bielsa and Leeds, but there's absolutely no chance of EL position for them this season.

Liverpool for me. They were in a class of their own in 19-20 prior to lockdown, and their deterioration after lockdown can be attributed to the fact that they'd effectively got the league won already. If there had been no lockdown, I think Liverpool would have won by more.
Other teams can of course bring in new players to improve, but the number of players they'd need to bring in to beat Liverpool would likely have some negative effects due to a lack of familiarity with one another - as we often see when teams bring in a lot of new players. The only potential exception I see to this really is Messi. Perhaps Man City of last season plus Messi could win the league.

Leeds will very likely be fighting relegation so a successful season for them will just be to stay up and look to build their squad for the future in the hope of wining something again. Doesn't really happen much these days as the bigger clubs have such a domination.

This is my opinion if Messi has officially moved to Man. City, I am sure that there will be a lot of champions who will support me, I think so will the other fans.

Leeds United is a big club.
even in a country like Indonesia, they have loyal supporters.
I am not talking about big six popularity here. but, I can say that Newcastle and Leeds United is a well known English club globally.
I am sure that they can finish the league at least in the middle table.

I want to quote skysports here,

Quote
Leeds are England's 13th most successful club with nine trophies, winning three league titles, one FA Cup, two Europa League competitions, one League Cup and two FA Charity Shields.

Chelsea brought in a lot of new players so we will have to see how will that work out and if they will need to time to adapt.I do think that Chelsea, if things work out, has the potential to fight for the title. Arsenal, not so much, they won against Liverpool, but when it comes to full season I don't see that they can keep it at the high level that long.
Chelsea needs a new concoction and the team management decision to bring in 3 new players is very precise...

btw, MU has officially got Van de Beek. this season is sure to be exciting and tight.
Quote
Manchester United officially brought in Donny van de Beek from Ajax Amsterdam. The Dutch player was bound by a five-year contract by the Red Devils.

BIG WINNER!

Leeds are serious this season they are active in the transfer market this time. If I'm not mistaken they have signed eight new players.
1.Helder Costa (Wolf)
2.Illan Meslier (Lorient)
3.Jack Harrison (Man City)
4.Joe Gelhardt (Wigan)
5. Cody Drameh (Fulham)
6.Sam Greenwood (Arsenal)
7.Rodrigo Moreno Machado (Valencia CF)
8.Robin Koch (Freiburg)
Management is really working, they don't want to just carry on the EPL this season.

There are also rumours that they have signed young 18 year old defender Josko Gvardijol from Dinamo Zagreb for 20 million euros, but that he will not join the team immediately. He is supposed to join Leeds after Dinamo Zagreb plays the match against Ferencvaros on September 16th.

Yeah hard month for Leeds. Sheffield united and Fulham are the easiest ones but facing the best from big 6 will totally be hard. Klopp and Guardiola aren't the one taking things lightly in the beginning of the season. Gonna wait for it and see how this team performs against these teams.

Leeds United is a big club.

They used to be earlier. There are many names who have played for  Leeds like Rio Ferdinand, Milner, Alf Inge Haaland (Erling Braut Halaand's dad) and many more. But lot of their players departed the club and also they weren't able to seal good players which lead to them being dropped out of PL. I watched a video about Leeds history and it is really interesting.

Management is really working, they don't want to just carry on the EPL this season.

Yeah they are, first they extended Biesla contract and have been filling up transfer targets as according to Biesla. They have lot of expectations from Biesla right now.

Rodrigo Moreno (striker) from Valencia is a notable signing.

Personal I think Liverpool should allow Sadio Mane to leave now his form has dipped also Sallah performances lately is below par, Liverpool should sell either any of them to bring in a quality striker, there aren't going to find it easy in this easy other EPL top teams are bolstered their team with the to match Liverpool in any match, while Man City signing Messi will be force to be reckoned in EPL this season invariably posing a potent attacking force with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, De-bruyne, sterling and mahrez although Pep Guardiola major aim is to win UCL which is achievable now with the proper tactics and formation.

Honestly, I don't think why the Leeds game but the crowd supports it. Will they be better in the EPL? The transfer season is now hot so as much as possible Leeds can recruit even better players.

You can never know man.
Just remember that Leicester got a Premier League title out of nothing.
None thought that they are going to win this but still they got the first place. Why not Leeds do the same and climb on the top 6 teams or at least contest a position at that ladder.

Leeds are serious this season they are active in the transfer market this time. If I'm not mistaken they have signed eight new players.
[...]
Management is really working, they don't want to just carry on the EPL this season.

That does show ambition, but at the same time it's a big risk because you've got to get all of those new players to gel together.
Remember Fulham came up, spent £100m, and then got relegated.
Villa nearly did the same thing last season, and only escaped somehow on the last day.

It's difficult for teams that come up, I think they are probably better spending more on fewer players if they can... but of course it is difficult to attract elite players if you're newly promoted.

Yeah they are, first they extended Biesla contract and have been filling up transfer targets as according to Biesla. They have lot of expectations from Biesla right now.

Rodrigo Moreno (striker) from Valencia is a notable signing.
Leeds applied for Rodrigo Moreno, at a price - + € 30 million. This is a new record for Leeds in making transfers. Seeing his statistics he performed quite well, he can play as a Midfielder (Center, Left, Right), Forward. He's also great at ball possession, strong Powerful Passes, Passes and Dribbling. This player is very complete and is still in the productive category, which is 29 years. I hope that with the purchase of new players they can stay in Premier League for the next season.

this is exactly the essence. I have seen many times a great team made up of top players, but something didn't work. Chelsea also bought a few significant players, but only together do they have to show class.
I'm a little surprised that Leeds is spending so much, as I know they are so dominated last season, they will certainly be at least equal to many clubs.

I want to see how the Leeds team will play if they are strong fighters so I believe in the first division there will be more challenges especially when they buy players to focus more on defending in the first division.
Honestly, I don't think why the Leeds game but the crowd supports it. Will they be better in the EPL? The transfer season is now hot so as much as possible Leeds can recruit even better players.

A new rumour is that they are looking to sign Borna Barisic from Glasgow Rangers too, would be a quality signing for sure as I track that player for a while now and he has good things to offer. Scots play similar style of football to Premiership so he would not have trouble adapting to the league.
