I think this was the week with the biggest surprises so far.Manchester City drawing,Manchester United and Liverpool losing by a big goal difference and Liverpool being humiliated by Aston Villa.I predicted a surprise result for Saturday games but I never knew that Sunday would have been even worse.

  • Man U: Surely, we're now the worst team for this week!
  • Liverpool: Hold my beer Grin

I thought this season will be a boring EPL season with no supporter + Liverpool domination.
This is week is really entertaining. We as supporters can laugh to each other. It's like a GIFT that can entertain us, every football fans during this pandemic situation.
We saw City lost 2-5,
United lost 1-6
Liverpool lost 7-2
Fair enough for all EPL supporters  Grin

Down to 3 in the first half is not for every team. Chelsea ended it better.

There will be many interesting matches on October 17! Newcastle vs ManUnited... Let's see how MU can regain the confidence of its fans! Grin
ManCity-Arsenal and Everton-Liverpool should also be interesting!

I saw all 7 goals that Aston Villa scored and I am really surprised.
There were so many mistakes made by Liverpool's defense I don't know where to start... It was an unfortunate game by Liverpool this weekend and I hope that those comments that Klopp needs to leave the club should stop immediately. He is a great coach and he cannot be judged by just one game.

Down to 3 in the first half is not for every team. Chelsea ended it better.

Not every team can perform under pressure as Chelsea does and all credits has to be given to the coach in the person of Lampard. Chelsea were 3 goals down in the first half but came back with just 30 minutes left in the clock in the second half and was able to draw the game then football lovers criticize Chelsea but I guess they can't anymore as their favs couldn't get a point from their respective matches.

Liverpool losing at aston villa was even more disgraceful than manchester united losing to tottenham. Unfortunately I wasn't privilege to watch the match but I'll be definitely watch the rematch anytime I'm less busy today. Aston villa must have placed a beautiful style of football to come out with such scorelines.

Yep, Aston Villa 7-2 Liverpool, True to be told Aston Villa won the match that's really happened on the last night. Likely we're having the worst end of the week up until this point, Liverpool one of the most successful clubs in England that is forgettable how they defeat last night. BTW! This is the means by which Liverpool teams taught the gamblers a big lesson.

I was also surprised by the final result. I even bet 9k DOGE on this match. By holding Liverpool, I am sure I will win. And the reality is so bitter, so great defeat. Even though in my opinion Aston Villa is not a strong team, if you see from the previous match.

yeah, who would expect that, Villa to beat up Liverpool, Manchester to get six goals on their field and Leicester to be down 0:3 at home
one thing that makes me happy is that Toffies are doing great so far, four matches - four wins, and Everton is now alone on the top Smiley

Wow, 16 goals just between the Manchester United and Liverpool games. I kind of expect this from United but not Liverpool. What the hell happened??? I think it's kind of good that they lost as it makes things a bit more interesting and I'd like to see a different team other than the big six win it. Everton have been playing really well and the Merseyside derby is next for Liverpool so that should be interesting especially as Everton are sitting in first place right now.

I think that can be an important lesson for you that in soccer gambling there will be unpredictable risks, maybe some time ago Liverpool just had luck so that it could win some matches, but when against Aston Villa it made that luck disappear.

I really struggle to find words to explain that brainfart yesterday. And no, that word is not just Adrian, no matter how we try to paint it that way.

I understand teams going into meltdown mode, especially in a season so weird as this one. But it is unacceptable on so many levels to play in a way Liverpool played yesterday.
I'm still furious, we could have conceded 15 goals. The approach to the game was abysmal, for the first time in a long time I felt ashamed to watch it. A huge slap on anything we have done in the last 5 years and I'm ready to go 12 rounds with anyone trying to tell me otherwise.

Shame on anyone included, Klopp as well. And no, losing is not a problem - but how you lose definitely is.

Losing a game isn't a problem indeed if Liverpool will be able to fix big mistakes that happened yesterday... I followed mainly the second half and I was disappointed. LFC having the ball and Villa scoring! Many defensive mistakes, Salah from defence to attack in Mane style to reinforce the defenders and save some balls which I believe shouldn't happen... I can't blame Adrian for many goals, any goalkeeper risks to do worst. It was a catastrophic failure for LFC and the impact of missed players is obvious. I believe Klopp will have to make a whole revision to the dysfunction happening over there  Undecided

It is quite unbelievable to see Liverpool losing to Aston Villa yesterday with the scoreline of 7-2. During the last English Premier League season, Aston Villa are just a team which struggles to fight for survival in the relegation zone, but surprisingly they have managed to beat Liverpool and also won all their games played since the start of this season. I guess the fans of Aston Villa would surely be glad if their team could prevent falling into the relegation zone for the rest of this season.

It is a surprise if you simply look at result but if you watch the match or its highlight, the result is understandable. Liverpool's defenders had a very bad match. They are slow, and perfunctory in the match. In 2 goals at least, Aston Villa had luck along side with them but for the rest, Liverpool's defenders made serious faults and did not finish their works.

Their whole defense system was crashed yesterday and not exclude Van Dijk.

The Liverpool defeat with this result was quite surprising. Also the high defeat of Manchester United was very strange. It seems that the title race is completely open for this season. And maybe with Everton there is a surprising team like Leichester 2015/16 or Blackburn Rovers 1994/95.

Adrian is still a Liverpool 2nd choice keeper and we are still expecting Van dyke and Gomez CB partnership so I'm very sure we might see it again this season until Klopp stops this experiment. Fabinho x Van dyke is still the best CB partnership

I am also surprised that Liverpool can be defeated by Aston Villa with a big enough score. likely because Alisson Becker and Sadio Mane
are not playing. So affecting Liverpool's appearance, Moreover, Jota and Adrian as their substitutes played badly. For Manchester United
to lose because Bailly and Maguire's performances were terrible, Martial then had to be hit by a red card because of emotion. So it's no
wonder Manchester United can be defeated by Spurs. I agree this season there have been many surprises in the Premier League,
but it is too early to judge Everton will become champions like Leicester and Blackburn.

Adrian is still a Liverpool 2nd choice keeper and we are still expecting Van dyke and Gomez CB partnership so I'm very sure we might see it again this season until Klopp stops this experiment. Fabinho x Van dyke is still the best CB partnership

Jurgen Klopp is already looking to buy Tottenham's 3rd goalkeeper Gazzinaga from waht I can see in the media, quite a rushed decision after one poor match by Adrien, but that's football. It was an awesome match and this season in all leagues is bringing really interesting football and results.

Man Utd was not a surprise for me at all, they are playing terribly and this was bound to happen, until Ole leaves nothing will improve, waiting for that to happen for months...
