This is still very likely because there are still too many matches left for all EPL team to play. But I just don't agree if you say the other team lack quality because previously Leicester had beaten us 2-5 at home. All team competing in the EPL should not be underestimated even though in the end most of them never really made it to the top 4 at the end of the season.

We have some very serious results in tomorrow soccer games as Manchester United lost by 1 - 6 and then Liverpool ruined by 7 - 2 Barcelona escape with 1 - 1 against Sevilla and Bayern was also in trouble as they have injury time penalty which give them some good breathes end in 4 - 3 look like its going to be very interesting season without crowd.

Adrian is still a Liverpool 2nd choice keeper and we are still expecting Van dyke and Gomez CB partnership so I'm very sure we might see it again this season until Klopp stops this experiment. Fabinho x Van dyke is still the best CB partnership

Jurgen Klopp is already looking to buy Tottenham's 3rd goalkeeper Gazzinaga from waht I can see in the media, quite a rushed decision after one poor match by Adrien, but that's football. It was an awesome match and this season in all leagues is bringing really interesting football and results.

Man Utd was not a surprise for me at all, they are playing terribly and this was bound to happen, until Ole leaves nothing will improve, waiting for that to happen for months...

Adrian is worse than karius not just one game Liverpool deserved a good second choice goolie they can't really on Allison all season he is becoming injury prone anyways and for manutd penalty can't save them this seaon

I don't think it's the players. Replace a few Liverpool first-teamers with Liverpool substitutes, and they should still comfortably out-perform Villa. But we are seeing some good players performing badly. The reason for this and for the bizarre results is I think mainly the lack of a pre-season. We've had a bit of a summer break, and now suddenly everyone jumps straight into the 20-21 season, slightly rusty, needing time to get going again. Some teams have adapted more quickly than others, that's all I think it is.

If the whole Liverpool needs time to adapt then I don't see reason why Liverpool and manutd fans won't allow Werner and Havertz to settle, Modric took 1year to settle at Madrid and so many others

My goodness, I just came back here (I'm late to the party, I know, but I had other things to attend to  ) to find that Liverpool finished very, very badly against Aston Villa. So many goals scored by Aston Villa that they are right under Everton in the EPL standings. When you look at this from a historical perspective, they've been in the EPL for several years, just the previous three years they've been demoted to Championship League and now they're back. Adding that Aston Villa never lost a single game this season, they look like they might even be able to contend for this year's title. Last year was the only time Liverpool won it. And now I feel a little embarrassed about my current pick in the poll (Man City).

I really struggle to find words to explain that brainfart yesterday. And no, that word is not just Adrian, no matter how we try to paint it that way.

I understand teams going into meltdown mode, especially in a season so weird as this one. But it is unacceptable on so many levels to play in a way Liverpool played yesterday.
I'm still furious, we could have conceded 15 goals. The approach to the game was abysmal, for the first time in a long time I felt ashamed to watch it. A huge slap on anything we have done in the last 5 years and I'm ready to go 12 rounds with anyone trying to tell me otherwise.

Shame on anyone included, Klopp as well. And no, losing is not a problem - but how you lose definitely is.

It wasn't just Adrian, Aston Villa took advantage of all the spaces LFC defenders were leaving open.  From the beginning of the game they were all over the place IMO instead of blocking advancements into the field nobody was coordinating with each other. Even Klopp lost it at half-time when the score was at 4-1 by subbing a striker for a midfielder's spot, like, really? He didn't add more defenders until it was too late to save the game with even a draw.

LFC needs to transfer in a second gatekeeper to assist Adrian, that's for sure.

Its very unfortunate watching two of the EPL biggest club being walloped with such a wide goal margin, Aston Villa really impressed me against all odds they came out of the match winner the team played well Grealish, Martinez, Berkley and Watkins were very outstanding while Liverpool defence fell like a pack of card .
Although Man Utd lost to a much better side despite losing a player with Red card I never expected them to lose such with a wide margin, a good team will always play well and organized despite having a player red-carded.

But now we have a perfect meme because of this .

I don't think Villa will stand longtime at this position since the next 2 games are vs Leicester and Leeds which showed to be a dangerous opponent. For Everton, apart from the game against Liverpool, the other couple matches are easier so it might stay for a while in top position.

Jurgen Klopp has no chill at all when it comes to goalkeeping problem the case with Karius costly error in UCL final against Real Madrid has also played with now Adrian, Kloop should calm down a bit, my take is on Liverpool defense line was very poor and uncoordinated in that match, Adrian was too exposed, lack of pre-season matches has also dealt a big blow to the poor performances of these teams while I also believed that lack of crowds in the stadia has also contributed to lacklustre and uninspiring performances I hope to see more unexpected score-lines in subsequent EPL matches.

Every season, things change and this is the reason why it has been very hard to replicate the same form in the previous year. Liverpool this season will not perform the way they did last season. It is very clear now that mane has been instrumental toward many of their success including that guy at their right back. Many of the clubs are used to their players and style of play so it is just like repeating and playing with same squad and formation all the time.

I don't think it is the last time that Liverpool has lost so badly. I think Liverpool will go through more difficult times this season. Their next match is with Everton / Everton is in great form in this season. If the statistics say Liverpool will win the match. But I think Everton will win 3-1 or the match will be a draw.

I have always referenced this season to be one filled with excitement and there will be more to come.
It is already glaring that every team without squad depth will suffer greatly. Liverpool without a direct replacement for Mane struggled, united with a single left back, single right back and a single center back is struggling when their defense line is out of form.

While city is struggling due to injuries and Benardo silva poor forn. Chelsea's, arsenal and Tottenham remain the biggest winner of the summer as Everton is an injury away from crisis

The Premier League this season will be very interesting, several strong teams including Liverpool started this season with bad results.
Everton's appearance was unexpected, 4 matches in the Premier League with perfect results. I agree with you that the next match
between Liverpool vs Everton will be very interesting, and I also agree that Everton might beat Liverpool. But Juergen Klopp must
have learned from the defeat against Aston Villa, so against Everton Liverpool will be playing more careful. In my opinion the fairest
and best result for both teams is a draw.

The premier league this season is going to be one of the most fun to watch ever. Starting in a rather outrageous pattern with the mid tier teams being very challenging to just win or seen as an easy way to get a 3 points by the big teams. I wonder where the motivation is coming from...
If the absence of fans from the stadium reduced the enthusiasm for the big teams and boost the aurer of the mid tier teams on the pitch or
It's just the Covid19 and stress at due to too much previous participation in other leagues by big teams.
Certainly, I believe the fans cheering and booing played a big role to ensuring individual involvement and improvement at the games with the need of players to shine and impress their fans physically seen at the fans section of the stadium.

Covid is definitely screwing over a lot of clubs  right now, with otherwise healthy players having to self-isolate at short notice. This prevents coaches from drafting effective  playing strategies becuse there is so little time to do that before matches start. It interferes with long-term strategies for the season because it's impossible to predict if a player will catch coronavirus or not so you end up losing critical players like Alisson for a couple games.

(And yes, I know Alisson got an injury and not Covid, but you get the point.)

Too early to say that Arsenal, Aston Villa , Everton will remain at top. Remember how last season went for Leicester? They were so strong in the race along with Liverpool and City. But in the end they dropped a lot of points and finished 5th last season. At any point there could be couple of matches gone wrong for any team.

BTW is bit funny to see how City and United have started this season. For City fans, Sergio aguero is back in full training so its possible that he could be back soon. For United, we have Cavani, Telles and Traore transfer news- wonder how will United perform after this. Telles seems to be a new addition to their defence line- hope this makes their defence a bit better.

It's indeed too early for anything to be expected, and I'm however beginning to fancy Everton chances of having a brilliant season. Arsenal could end up as a typical Arsenal and, I also believe Aston Villa would finish outside the top 10 come end of the season.
