The pool still put MU in second place which I think is impossible to stay on after finishing the session. As we can see MU performance same as Burney, a club with only have 1 won in the last 5 games. And even better with Norwich with 2 draws. If still continue, I hope in this session MU did not degrade into the EPL. I feel sorry for Ronaldo when he plays on under-level in the next session. when we look at performance, the best possible MU positions is between 15 - 20 rank. Don't cry too much for MU fans.

I also don't see MU finishing second. It would mean Chelsea must have a total crash from their current performances, MU would have to outperform Man City and Liverpool. I wish for an exciting season for sure, but I can't think of a scenario where MU performs better than Chelsea or Man City.

Majority of the forum members voted at the beginning of the season when Man Utd was performing well, I am not surprise about the poll it was done early, however that does not mean Man Utd cannot vie for top 4 this season, of course there might be a turn around in their subsequent matches, every team can have a period of bad performance and consequently up their game again, the team has quality players, they only need some change in tactics and bench some underperforming players.

@blue Snow I became a Manchester Unite fan back in the day when Ronaldo started playing for Manchester United, and while I’m upset I don’t blame the player’s I blame Ole and the board.

I do not quite agree with you, there is absolutely no way I can exempt the players of any blame in United's current predicament, those players should be proud to be wearing United's colors and that should motivate them to give their best anytime they are selected, but that's not the case, in most games, they play like they do not even care about the result, the club and even the fans, I know the coach and the board are also guilty here, but same as the players, they have to justify the huge paychecks they receive every week, and at least, put a smile on the faces of their fans.

Also it’s not too late even if they do not sack Ole, then all he just needs to is drop McFred, play Van De Beek, play Sancho as a winger, replace Biswaka with Dalot and Shaw with Telles, and by doing this the chances of Manchester United winning will be increased.

Many of this players you mentioned have been given their chance, even if they have not played too many games, but the little time they were called up to play, they didn't do too well, I've watched Sancho play a couple of games, and I don't rate him as a very good player, Shaw and wan-Bisaka are playing well, thus I don't think the manager can think of replacing them, I'm in support of Fred being benched, I think he is just too bad to be playing for United, and maybe Van De Beek actually deserves a chance, but overall, the fact remains that the entire players need to improve.

There is still lot of rounds in PL and anything can happen. It's not too late for United as well. If they do things right and avoid dropping points then they can easily climb to the top or near to top. Even Chelsea or City might perform poor if they are hit by injuries and miss some key players for a long term and that affects their performance then that would turn out as a good opportunity for United to overtake them in the table.

It's true that the Premier League still has a lot of games left, so anything is still possible. But hoping for Man United to climb back to the top seems
very unlikely if Man United don't change their coach quickly. I see Solskjaer will not be able to make Man United rise again, and if Chelsea or Man City
are playing badly, it's useless if Man United are playing badly too. Then regarding the key players of Man City and Chelsea if injured, it seems that
both teams can certainly maintain their performance. Because they have reserve players whose quality is good enough to replace the main players,
both teams have Tuchel and Guardiola who are very skilled in strategy, quality and experience as coaches are much better than Solskjaer. Actually
Man United's fault this season, they didn't fire Solskjaer immediately. After two seasons Solskjaer has been given a chance, and this is Solskjaer's

Management fully trusted with Ole although four year without any trophies and I think need revolution for Manchester United how to bring back Sir Alex Ferguson era. I think they need new coach where manage all player and make consistent on every match, now Manchester United faced problem on primer league with not consistent and many time loss chance with getting three points.

I really wonder whether the Watford match ahead will be the end of the road for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Because they still continue to get disappointing results for their fans. And every week, they are getting a little more away from the top. They have one of the best squads in the league now. It is not fair to see a this powerful team going down in the league table every week. For the Watford match, I guess that they will do the same thing as they did to Tottenham. They will get a comfortable win I mean. But in fact, I would sack Ole before this game as long as I have already another option to fill his place.

There is no doubt you are correct about that, but for that to happen it doesn't only need a VERY strong Manchester United, but also a weak Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool. That is where I think it is not very likely. Chelsea will play a good season, I am very sure about that. And Manchester City is just such a strong team that I don't think MU will end the season in front of them. Of course, there is no guarantee and MU could theoretically make it, but everyone would be surprised if that actually happens.

Too bad for Frank Lampard to turn down Norwich, could that be a result of low offers ?
He was close to agreement,what would have caused a turn around in his decision ?
It's good news for Norwich,they would do better under Dean Smith,I think the players at Aston Villa at too high for him to manage.

MUFC is suffering from some injury blow at the moment from the international break already, if the players who are selected for the game with Watford decide to give it their all, it will be that they have personal love for Ole and want to keep him, otherwise the players will stick to tactics and instructions from the coach so the outcome will be a true reflection of if Ole is getting better to handle the team or still not.

The Watford - Manchester United game is a very critical one for the Manchester side. It is very important for Solskjaer as it can be a decider for him to stay or go.

Ole is also retained because of the considerations that have the management of Manchester United.  It looks like it, at this time it seems the management does not have a high ambition for their club.  Unlike Tottenham who immediately sacked their coach and immediately replaced him with Conte.  It's clear they want to chase points in this league, and it's well deserved for them to fight for a trophy that's yet to be won.

Yeah it is very unlikely to happen now that you have pointed that out. Guess United closing in with them is the best thing that could happen but seriously United to improve a lot. Even with Bruno Fernandes who proved to be saviour of the team when team was having tough time last season is not performing very well and so are others as well. United have an easy fixture coming up and will hope not to drop points there too.

United's point loss is high indeed - wins account for less than half of the matches played. This is a weak result even for the highly competitive Premier League. Moreover, this cannot be explained by a series of "bad luck" - other statistics correspond to this pattern - the number of goals conceded is huge, and the number of goals scored is small (in comparison with the leading group). I think the limits of the management's patience are limited and Ole will be replaced when the management finds some convenient option.

I agree with you @borovichok. Manchester United management are not ready to let go of Ole. They still want him in the club, till maybe the end of the season. If not, they could have sacked him a long time ago. But, let's be sincere, Ole don't have what it takes to lead Manchester United in achieving any trophy. Therefore, it will be a good decision if they sacked Ole, and probably replace him with a good coach. It's a strong one to take in but, this is evidently the truth about Manchester United and Ole. I mean, what's the point in holding on to such a coach! Do they really expect him to improve because, I don't don't see that happening and the leagues are gradually pushing for a more competitive stage. Perhaps January before the sack latter comes out bit, having a coach with such squad and don't have any hope of a trophy about him or even a top four spot in the local league counts for nothing. I totally agree with your opinion that the management of Manchester United really wants to keep Ole Gunnar Solskjaer where they still keep the Manchester United legend at Old Trafford, and even observers have this opinion that Ole is very suitable to be in front of the coach seat.
