Almost all the favourite teams haven't been satisfying on the first weeks of the new season. Even Manchester City and Liverpool are good examples for that. Manchester City are better than Liverpool now but their Newcastle game was a disaster as well. I would never expect Newcastle to make big difficulties for the strongest team of the league here. They have made an important progress as it seems.

I also thought that Manchester City would win very easily against Newcastle, but in reality they didn't. Because Newcastle were able to provide attacks and were able to play in a draw, although Newcastle were very visible to make Manchester City difficult in that match. It's really surprising and I think the competition for teams and points this season will be tougher.

They need a new solid centre back to tighten up the defence, cause the defense was disgraceful today. Diaz and stones were terrible today. Lastly, I think Pep need to have some  talk with Foden. Why was he hoarding the ball from Haaland ?

John Stone's ? What do you expect from the player tell me please, John Stone's lacks confidence in himself looking at him alone show's his not self confidence, you can't see him complementing Diaz.
Those lads needs to free the ball much more faster and easier for Haaland to put the ball at the back of the net. That was quite hurting expecting a pass and still not getting it.
They are lucky they turned that game around to secured a single point against Newcastle, well, Beautiful set piece from Kieren Trippier.

The winger from magpies was so good. Saint is having a very good physic combined running so fast. City's defense was getting a very difficult situation once the ball was on his hand but it's better rather than loosing a lot and got zero point after all. You shall aware about that. if it is based on the statistics of the chance of victory, then of course Liverpool will win. but this time I really dare not predict for the early season match in the premier league. because the results of the games at the start of the season were almost all shocking. moreover the recent match between chelsea and leeds and chelsea lost tragically. followed by man city and newcastle. here even man city had missed the score. and the match ended in a draw. it was really unexpected that Newcastle could make Man city work hard and struggle. and then manchester united vs Liverpool. I understand your feelings. I'm not a Manchester United fan but I also support Manchester United more than Liverpool. I hope there will be a good surprise from MU. even if the hope is very low. but I was motivated by the surprise I saw in the game from Leeds who beat chelsea. it was an unexpected surprise. and I hope MU does too. although the chances of winning are very slim if you look at the statistics.
