The match between Arsenal and Man United will clearly be profitable for Man City, especially if Man United can beat Arsenal or at least hold it to a draw. That way Man City has the opportunity to approach Arsenal again but on condition, they can beat Tottenham which I don't think will be easy for Man City either. Premier League giants Arsenal managed to get back their win in the match against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday. After last week's Newcastle hold Arsenal to a draw, but this week coach Mikel Arterta managed to convince his players to perform even better.
That way, Arsenal's ambition to win the EPL title this season will be even more difficult to be thwarted their rivals like Manchester City, because Arsenal are now further away from Manchester City in the standings.

That's the ingenuity of the Arsenal coach to build confidence as strong as possible and won the victory over Tottenham Hotspur managed to win the game, taking them away from Manchester City, of course that is a positive thing for the growth of Arsenal's squad. It was very difficult to get 3 points from Tottenham.  Arsenal managed to do that.  With this win, they have taken a very important step.  Getting this away win was even more important.  It was an unfortunate match for Lloris, and he inadvertently made a mistake in conceding a goal.  Now there is a big difference between them and Arsenal.

There is a lovely match between Manchester City and Tottenham in Etihad in three days. The last they met here, Tottenham got a really surprising result like a 3-2 win. It was really surprising because there was a significant difference between these teams on paper. Bookmakers were also giving similar odds to this one then. Hence I don't want to be very sure of a Manchester City win yet. Especially while Manchester City are surprising us with unexpected results in the recent times, it is a little hard to be very confident about their win.

But Tottenham seemed desperate against Arsenal the last time. Ramsdale was like a wall and saved many shots. This resulted in a loss for Tottenham. If a similar scenario happens against Manchester City as well then Manchester City can get a win to pull themselves together. The gap is quite big with Arsenal as of now hence they need to keep up somehow.

I'm also not too sure about Manchester United's chances of winning the game against Arsenal, but they are looking better now. Following his win over Manchester City, I think Manchester United's players will be much more motivated to beat Arsenal. Then from that, Arsenal have also lost to Manchester United in their first meeting. So there are always reasons to support Manchester United to win games even if you support Arsenal to win the title this season.

Arsenal is still the team I think will win the league, and given how hard they have worked, they truly deserve it. Man City, on the other hand, I am confident won't finish outside the top three.

City definitely can't finish outside the top three, they definitely can even finish at the summit of the league, that is how good they are, or rather can be when they are playing at their best (though they aren't right now). Anyways, right now the league is Arsenal's to lose, they are 8 points clear and the advantage is clearly with them, if they can continue performing consistently till the end of the season, they would be EPL champions after quite a long time.

No one doubts the quality of Manchester City. Since being handled by Guardiola and supported by quality players, Manchester City have been able to dominate the EPL in recent years. Now there is a more consistent team than Manchester City, Arsenal have proven that they are better than Manchester City this season.

Arsenal are 8 points ahead of Manchester City, Manchester City need to fight hard until the end of the season to take over first place. I think Manchester City will struggle to get first place because Arsenal always perform well every time they play. This season's ELP is very close to Arsenal, apart from that an 8 point advantage has made Arsenal even more obsessed with maintaining their position until the end of the season.

It wasn't my believe that Manchester united can defeat Manchester city, it look so surprised to me Up till now, is it that Manchester city is weak currently or it was just a lucky for Manchester united?with this current form that Manchester united is going with now, it will hard for any team to win them. We are going to see what will happen against arsenal and Manchester united by weekend, I believe the match will be very tough due to that both teams are currently in form and they are both in winning spirits.

You say City are playing at their best? Definitely not, they can definitely play better than this, create more chances than they are currently doing and go on a winning run which they haven't really done this season. I think many people think City have been exceptional this season because they hardly watch their games, and they only see the media report of Haaland's goalscoring heroics, and then think City have been really good, they haven't.

Having said that, quite rightly the other teams around them have been doing quite well, but that doesn't stop City from performing too, they are known to be very good when it comes to title races, and we've seem them do it with Liverpool in the last couple of years and come out on top. Pep has do something real quick and get his City side back on the right track if they are to challenge Arsenal for the EPL title.

Arsenal have great advantage after a half of season and I am impressed with their performance too but I disagree with you that Arsenal will certainly win the league this season. Winning or failing at the end, it depends on their performance in a rest half of season. An impressive first half of season is not enough to give them a league trophy. They must continue their excellent form to win it because the opponent is Manchester City.

Firstly, it was a joke to see arsenal topping the table but with their performance since then, it been a dream come through for the gunners. Everything the gunners can exhibit must be done if they want to be crowned premier league champions. Arsenal doing their best to maintain the top run up, not an easy job to compete with city in the title race. Mikel Arteta motivating his players in his squad inother to grab the trophy away from their top competitors, additional players from the transfer window would really do a big job for the gunners since their keyplayers are injured.

I did not expected them to keep it up this long to be fair. I mean it is possible for most teams to be at the top during the early weeks, and a few more teams that could be at the top for a few months from start, but to keep at the top for half of the season? That's a big deal and I did not see that happening at all.

Arteta is achieving something much more than anyone else think they could possibly do. However, lets not forget the fact that they are still not that far ahead, so a few bad games streak with City chasing? That could result with them being second in the end. I still think being second is not that much of a trouble for them at all.

I watched the game until the 84th minute and their performance was very consistent including the defenders keeping no goals scored by their opponents. Most chances Arsenal could be the winner of this match as their performance and quality is amazing, and they are doing best after the break even there were few rumours they can suffer due to injury of the Gabriel Jesus, but they are able to have better results and still at the top of the league table with eight points difference in the case of draw with Manchester United they could be still had gape of six points which is not bad at all but in case of lost surely hey can face some trouble because their player's confidence could be suffered which is currently at his best and this can help Manchester City to done things better for their performance and more pressure on the leaders.

But right now Manchester United is surely having good chance for the stay at the third spot and give good challenge to city rival for the second spot even most chances they are not able to go for the title race, but things could be good for the all top teams as their gape is surely going to cut narrow for having top ranks in this season.

yes, it's true, Arsenal and MU are both performing at their best, but the way to play is very different.
Arsenal are very confident in their team on all fronts, it's tough to play MU against them, but it's possible to win 3 points, especially when they're playing at the Emirates Stadium.

This is not true at all. Every team, however good they are go through these phases where they lose their rhythm. Man City finished the league last season as the highest scoring team without Halland. Their second league win under Pep was without De Bryune. They can play without these guys and by the way, De Bruyne was not heavily man marked by United, it was not just his day and it happens. Man City would not finish the season lower than the second position, they're that good. I'm happy they're out of form so it would give Arsenal the chance to run away with the league. I want Arsenal to win the league but you can never write Man City off. They've shown time and time again what they can do especially at this stage of the competition.

Before defenders and midfielders were having a good number of goals, and then Manchester City recorded more goals per game. All Arsenal players this season are in good motivation and form to win all the games that await them. In the last 18 matches, Arsenal have only lost to Manchester United and they have only drawn 2 other matches. I admit that Arsenal's performance this season is much better than Manchester City, but of course City is a challenger who might really undermine Arsenal's wishes this season.

You know, 8 points is not too high to chase because the season is still very long. There are another 18 match to play between these teams, and I think it's hard to say Arsenal will take all the points from him. Likewise with Manchester City.

Even right now, eight points lead is not enough for the title race, but Arsenal performance is also amazing which is helping them for staying at the top of the league table and their season is also impressive which mean things are going into their favour Manchester City is having some problems which are giving them headache, and now they are having five points lost in last three games specially lost against Manchester United is biggest to suffer for them and things are looking not good with title race is already into 20th round and Newcastle United and Manchester United both are on good winning streak.
