You are right. At least, give Potter 1 season more to prove his ability to manage Chelsea. Fire him now may cause big trouble, Chelsea doesn't have enough time to find a proper coach. Sometimes, a coach needs at least 2 seasons to prove his ability. He needs to adapt to new players and try to find a proper tactic for the players. Potter didn't manage Chelsea from the early of this season, it makes sense if he gets a difficulty. Chelsea management must consider keeping him, but make a target to finish in the top 8 at least. If Potter can't get the minimum target, I think no mercy for him (too bad).

As for the EFL Cup, Manchester City actually have had a huge dominance here in the recent seasons. We can clearly see how many times they won lately so we can say that this isn't a tournament they don't care about. Hence I really wonder what's wrong with them now. Of course I understand the goals they conceded but they could have answered easily in fact. When we check the lineup we can see that there are many players from the usual starting eleven as well.

As even the Premier League title is under threat for Manchester City they can't afford giving up on the other cups and tournaments that easy. I think they will manage to make a comeback in the second half.

Manchester City have been eliminated from the cup, and they are second in the league. This is the consequence of making heavy rotation. They may come back empty-handed this season. If Arsenal win the championship, City will end a season without a trophy in a long time. They lost Community Shield. They were eliminated from the League Cup. The FA Cup remains, which they play with Arsenal. The League and the Champions League are of course the most important trophies, but winning other trophies was also numerically superior.

I really can't believe this. Currently Manchester City is playing against Southampton in the EFL. And look at how Southampton was able to score 2 goals through counterattacks. Actually, in this case I don't think it's too strange either because most of the players who are fielded are also reserve players, but still, even if they are reserve players, in terms of quality, I think they are still quite good.

I think Man City is not as bad as you say. Indeed, currently Man City is not in first place in the EPL, but they are in second position with 5 points adrift of Arsenal. Indeed, it might be difficult to win number 1 from Arsenal, but no one knows. There are still around 18 more matches to be played in this EPL. Man City is still trying to get additional points, although sometimes the results don't go as expected. I personally don't think it's worth it to sack him; I agree with you that he should be given another chance, and I have a good feeling chelsea will win there next match. However, the management seems to believe that sacking him is the solution. Looking at it generally, coaching is not easy, and Chelsea has always had the habit of doing so when the game is not in their favor the next step is to sack there coach.

I'm not surprised the way Manchester City performance is,  this has been up even before now and it is now becoming obvious.  Southampton is not a team Manchester City is supposed to struggle with. If Manchester City are unable to ammend cause of their problem they really miss lots of opportunities this season.  Manchester United are very tough now and Manchester City performance has become somehow weak, it is complicated to think of Manchester City will be tò win Manchester united.

One or two seasons of time is quite ideal. But let's see, some chelsea-related transfer rumours are happening. I hope it was Potter's desire to change the game. But let's look back, Potter's record is indeed no statistic good enough. So this Chelsea setback I think stems from Tuchel's sacking. Tuchel should only need to be given the option to buy some new players and get extra time for proof. We've seen Tuchel's stats as a great coach. That statistic is better than Potter.

The Manchester derby is the most awaited game of the week undoubtedly. Manchester United have a nice advantage of playing in Old Trafford. They have been quite successful against big teams here this season. Manchester City are one of the toughest opponents of course but we never know. ten Hag would like to keep the same game plan against Manchester City as well.

Spurs - Arsenal is an interesting game with odds in favour of gunners of course.
The problem with Spurs is their defence which makes them easier to receive a goal than Arsenal. In terms of attack, there isn't a big difference in my opinion.
ManU - City is challenging too with a slight advantage for City. A draw might be a good option for ManU too.

At least with the defense used for Tottenham and very difficult to penetrate by opponents, Tottenham managed to be in the top five at the top of the standings and it was a good trip for Tottenham because they could compete with the big clubs above them. That is a terrible match for Manchester City. They did not start it with their best players but even with their B team, they can still beat Southampton on normal days. No short on target, it should be a result from a C or D team, not B team of Manchester City.

Southampton had a great day and people maybe don't know but Southampton are not a big club in England. However they have contributed a lot of great youth talented players for England and the world. Bale, Walcott, Chamberlain, Luke Shaw, Sadio Mane.

They have so good scout team and ability to detect and grow youth players to star players. That contributes to their competitiveness and they can beat any club with their youth players on good days.

Southampton looks like a beast in the previous match against city. It was not letting city to make a goal. Southampton was winning two goals against city. This gonna be giving a huge impact to the performance against manchester united. It seems like that city was not using the main squad. that's why southampton was able to win against city in that match. Im sure that once city was using haaland and KDB as the starting line up and that's gonna be the different situation.
It seems like that city will be using both of players against MU. It's gonna be the most important match for city to make sure it will not have huge gap with arsenal.

It's bad even if they don't play at full strength but that doesn't mean they will have this bad performance, they shouldn't have the quality of their second tier players far from their main squad, are City not motivated in this tournament?, I don't think there should be a team that underestimates matches in any tournament. If we see from head to head statistics i think Chelsea should be able to win the match because from 4 latest matches Chelsea was unbeatable from Fulham but unfortunately these statistics currently cannot be used as the reference because Chelsea not in the good shape and if we see from Potter records while train Brighton he has poor records from Fulham so this match will be so hard for him and the odds for Chelsea currently @2.46 they are slightly the favourite to win the match but this option is quite risky because Chelsea could be failed to win from this match but Fulham has 4 winning streak in all competitions lately and probably Fulham will continue their positive result and will be the winner of this match

No club wants to disappoint their fans, they definitely want to give their best and do everything they can to make it happen. Currently Chelsea are in a situation that is completely unfavorable for them with their form like that. Fulham is not a weak opponent, they are even better than Chelsea now, also this game will be held at their own headquarters and it will be a distinct advantage for Fulham because they have the full support of their supporters. This is a tough game for Chelsea.
