It's not even an interesting match. Chelsea plays so badly like the previous match against soton. Totenham was leading the match. Potter is a crazy coach. This coach was still giving felix chance to play in starting line up. Felix was performing so badly. The goal happened caused by felix didn't even give an effort to fight for the ball. felix was also playing individually. This guy is always dribbling without the right direction. Almost all of the new players were contributing nothing to the match.

Havertz, Mount, and ziyech were performing so badly. I saw how todd was seeing his club goes to the relegated zone very soon.

I've said it time and again, the only option for Chelsea right now is to sack Potter. It's may sound a little too harsh but it's the truth. You can see clearly that he's not leading that team anywhere. There are no signs of improvement, no signs of hope. You can't even say they're inconsistent, they're just outrightly bad. They don't play well, they can't string five passes together without giving the ball away. Chelsea under Potter are too poor for a club that have signed that amount of players.
If they played well in some games and score goals but still lose them we can say there is hope for them but this is different. They play badly, the don't score goals, they don't even create enough chances.
There are situations where you trust the manager and give him time, like Arsenal did with Arteta, like Liverpool did with Klopp but this is not one of those instances. Under those coaches, even if they Liverpool and Arsenal weren't exactly winning games, you could see glimpse of potentials we don't see that in Potter's Chelsea.

Don't mind my asking but who is the goal scorer for Chelsea?
Tottenham have got goal scorers in the likes of Harry Kane and H. Son, Manchester City, you've got that in E. Haaland, R. Mahrez, Liverpool we can take M. Salah but, we've got nk one really for Chelsea. I can't Consider K. Havertz or Mount because, they aren't reliable to come on the game at any point and make a huge difference, Sterling neither.
Chelsea had a very poor performance today and it didn't reflect well considering the money spent on this team in the transfers. Joao Felix is definitely playing some good football for me but, there is absolutely no one to take the cancel that he creates.

Graham Potter and his at least 4 changes in each game just tells how desperate or frustrated he is at the moment, the pressure that is mounted on him to get results and that is some confused state of management. Like, he doesn't know what his doing and that's not what Chelsea needs at the top of its management right now.

I do not know why Tuchel was not given more time. He was a fantastic manager before he joined Chelsea and was more decorated then Graham Potter. Potter did a good job with Brighton but as Brighton has proved it was the players at Brighton instead of only Potter. They are still performing well without him. Tuchel had success with Chelsea too he got them playing good football and were performing better then they are today. I wonder if it is possible that Chelsea offer another chance to Tuchel and if he would take it because of the way they treated him.

Yes, I believe Tuchel was hastily removed as he would have been given more time to make things better in his own way. Chelsea hasn’t improved a bit since he was let go as they’ve still been losing games. Personally, I had high hopes for this particular game with Tottenham as I thought they, this time around, had a very good chance of winning the game and changing their luck. They’ve had a bad run lately and I do feel pity for the squad as they’ve been trying so hard with little luck to win games.

Potter will be fired but he will not be easily replaced who is he going to be replaced with? Not many top managers are available until the end of the season so Chelsea will probably keep Potter until they can replace him. Any manager that they hire now would not be able to change the players or tactics and would have the same results. I agree a new manager with preseason and their own signings can make a difference but they cannot do that until the summer.

I recognize the names except for two on the list. Zidane seems to be a good option considering his success at Real Madrid but I don't think he would want to work with Chelsea's owners. I also doubt other available top managers would consider taking the job. Maybe someone of Pochettino's level would take it.

In terms of creativity I think they are slowly getting into it. I think Chelsea have enough quality to find better space and initiate better attacks. They will get to it eventually is what I feel. Potter must be having lot in his head with his options so its not just easy for him as well. Their defense has been a sign to worry and they really need to fix that as soon as possible. Great game for Spurs though with the way handled Chelsea 's attack and they totally deserved it.  They now stand fourth on the table but Newcastle have the chance to overtake them with two games in hand compared to Spurs. I think Newcastle are on the better end than Spurs right now. We can't just underestimate Newcastle with the way they have played the season so far.

If Chelsea do not get knocked out by Dortmund they will get knocked out the next round but I see Dortmund as one of the teams that could win the Champions League. I do not think they are favorites but I think outside of the favorites they are the most likely team. Chelsea need to focus on the Premier League and not the champions league since they lost the 1st leg against Dortmund. If they do not start improving in the league they might not qualify for the champions league and I think a lot of their players will leave making it harder for them to qualify next season too.

Of course, it's not just Chelsea who have a very tough road in the Champions League, but all teams have the same road. But focusing on Chelsea, I think I will agree with what you are saying, even if they can get past the round of 16, they will really be eliminated in the quarter-finals. The opponents they will face in that round are stronger compared to their current opponents in the round of 16.

Tuchel was removed because he was a remnant from the past owner of Chelsea. The new owner needed someone who he could believe in as the right choice, but clearly he has made a mistake with Graham Potter. Bad thing is that Chelsea gave him a five year contract and to let him go now will mean them paying him off hugely since they are the ones breaching the contract. They have spent a lot this season and know that letting Graham Potter go will cost them more money, so perhaps the best choice for the business is to give him some more time maybe till next season.

Wow! Liverpool was able to climb to 7th place and if they can hold this position until the end of the tournament, they will qualify for the Conference League!

Fulham have played an extra game more than Liverpool which technically puts them tied with them at sixth should they win their match and honestly I think fourth place is possible should the Reds play more consistently and win games too...

The big match between Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea will be the most interesting match. Kick off has already begun.
The betting market is favouring a draw and I think that is the most likely prediction.

There is so much inconsistencies in both teams and I don't expect these guys to surprise us in any way, and personally I expected Spurs to carry the day because Chelsea is still experimenting with the team to try and find a functional team to field and as expected Spurs carried the day with a comfortable home win of 2nil.

In the second half, Tottenham managed to put on a remarkable performance. Chelsea played well in the first half but in the second half Tottenham managed to take control of the game and secure victory.

My main concern with them is their inability to score goals. Chelsea has one of the most expensive wingers in the Premier League, and they have brought in plenty of players, but I don't think the players are giving their all for the team. Perhaps they wanted Potter to be fired, or perhaps Chelsea is too big for Potter to manage because, by all accounts, he is unable to use the players the management purchases because their performance is declining in every game.

The odds look very balanced for each other, but we shouldn't forget about the performance team. This is not about numbers only, but it's all about the place where they have to stay together in London aka derby. I am not sure the match will draw or make surprise us, Chelsea win. Because when we talk about Chelsea, of course, we are doubtful after losing versus Dortmund and Southampton.

It must be like that. Even though chelsea is having the worst performance compared with totenham but we can expect for chelsea to come back anytime as long as whole of problems that happened with the club already solved. Tottenham's defense was really good in this match so Chelsea had to have trouble building attacks. Chelsea have worked very hard for goals, but Tottenham never gave them chance to get one. Again and again Graham Potter will only be on the brink of his leadership as Chelsea manager, he will definitely be required to step down even though Chelsea officials are still patient with the team's performance so far.

In fact, hiring Graham Potter as manager has only been step back for Chelsea due to their bad results in so many match, but in terms of squad depth, Chelsea are really luxury team right now.

I expected Tottenham to win against Chelsea. And I won the bet. The Chelsea team is in dire straits right now. They are consistently underperforming. We have forgotten the last time we saw this team win. In this situation, it was very difficult for Chelsea to win against a team like Tottenham. Still, I wouldn't say Chelsea played too badly in this match. They are trying to score. But they could not resist Tottenham's counter attack due to the weak defense. And so Chelsea lost 2-0.
If the Newcastle team wins their next two matches, they will be able to reclaim the fourth place in the table. But this team also lost the truck. They have lost points in their last four matches. So I think we will see Tottenham in fourth place in the table.

Once again Chelsea lost the game this have become a constant thing with Chelsea losing matches all through the season,  because each time there is a lose for Chelsea there is a coach to blame that on.

-If Chelsea feels that the coach is under performing it then mean the is a need to change him if not until then my best advice for Chelsea for the the players to build the motivation their need and also try to play in union.,  if Chelsea players can cover up for the lapses in some of their positions on the field, that will go a long way to help Chelsea to recover from their current conditions.

What if the team loses more before next season than if they recorded a loss and took Potter out? For example, if they don't make it further up the grid in the champions league? Right now the team is in 10th place in the league and most likely may not even qualify for the Europa League, which would probably be the first such case for Chelsea since Abramovich bought it.
That's not counting the money the team won't get from European cups and broadcasting royalties.

All in all, given the overall situation and the losses Chelsea may suffer, a forfeit to Potter seems like the lesser of evils.

Indeed, we can see that Chelsea actually has the potential to become a strong team and is being watched by other big teams because Chelsea has some great players in it.
But as you said it looks like Potter really can't make Chelsea a great and strong team even though Chelsea have great players but if their coach Potter can't take advantage of these advantages it's still the same.
Because after all a coach is the key for players to always play well.
