When we compare Ten Hag's work with those of other coaches in their first year, he is doing an outstanding job. The player is still in the UEFA cup, has already won the English League Cup, and is on the top four team on the table. Next season, I think he will do better with recruitment. There is no doubt in my mind that the teams will perform well in the Europe Cup a few days from now, some losses motivate, and some demoralize

Manchester United team was weak today and I don't see the defence to deserve any credit like the rest of the team. They were poor all game and did let De Gea to go through making so many critical saves. Like the one that came off the cross bar, that was close and it was adequate possible due to his quick turn and reflexes. Still, they did let Wilson score a second goal which became the decider.
Burns did a lot of damage to the Manchester United team with close making on Anthony and Rashford most of all, that boy went through a lot of pressure from Burns.
With this lose of points, we can say Manchester United is out of any title contending.

I assume Manchester United will not win the title this season regardless of how well they perform at the hands of Ten Hag. Manchester United's most realistic target is to stay in the top 4 and qualify for the Champions League next season, at least that's what Ten Hag recently said.

While the Newcastle United camp, this is a good record at home after they are favored by probability. Manchester United's defeat was fundamental, that's because Newcastle played at home in their best form to reach the top 4. Well I hope it is like you say but I find it really hard to be motivated after three consecutive bad results for the team.This I think will have the players impacted psychologically for the worse for the upcoming fixtures and they have not an easy one against Brentford which in terms of players have not the same quality players as Manchester has but in terms of results both teams are near the same level.

I can agree though that a win in Europa League would give Manchester United a boost that it will be beneficial to them even in the next clash they have against Brentford.

But Newcastle deserved this win they are so strong and disciplined in attack or defence. I won't say it was hope lost for manchester united or what went wrong for Newcastle to be having a record of two goals with Willock scoring the first goal, I feel like most clubs already know their faith in the premier league that's why they don't bother putting a lot of energy again, clubs like manchester city and arsenal don't waste time on attacks the way manchester united did today was wondering what happened but the whole truth is that Newcastle is also good and can be a pain in the ass, that's why once any club is playing against them you don't need to waste time, you need to put more pressure on them from different angles or you might just loose against them.

United have had chances to score goals but on average over 90 minutes it just wasn't good enough what they showed. And Newcastle United has some decent players and also has an experienced coach. Ten Hag has already achieved a lot with these players, but he will really have to finish 3rd in the competition. Is there actually anything known about Haaland's injury? He could not participate against Liverpool, which was also a big victory for City. Cody Gakpo is also having a tough time at Liverpool at the moment.

Bit one significant thing I noticed was the deficiency in Manchester Unite overall style of play that is lacking when Casmero or Ericson is not featured in the united squad.
Countless times I have noticed that united underperform in the absent of Casmero and Ericson. And this positions was their problem even when CR7  was still in the team. United needs more midfielders to stand in for this two duo in times like this.

If victory is hard to come by, then at least Manchester United can end the match with a draw. But indeed, in this match Newcastle could really dominate the match, so that the victory was deserved for Newcastle in this match. Because, even though in the previous few matches Newcastle looked like they had lost their best performance, but slowly Newcastle is getting back to its winning streak at this moment. Manchester united performance was very poor today. ETH made the worst substitute today for removing Martinez who was playing very well. Newcastle took a revenge on Manchester united today by defeating them 2-0. Both goal was scored by header and I don't understand Manchester united was playing. The second half was worst than the fist half,giving short passes at the front of their box. Today's passes made by Manchester united players were inaccurate and the midfield was porous. The absence of Casemiro really affected the match. Newcastle is third on the tables leading Manchester united with goal difference.

I think the substitution was because of the midweek tie against Brentford since Martinez and Varane are his preferred center backs and he didn't want to take any chances. I'm just saying... But what's the point of substituting your best player when you've not won the game or not sure of winning. Manchester united's performance today was below par, they made 6 attempts and registered 1 shot on target against the Newcastle's side that made 22 attempts and 6 shots on target. I wasn't impressed with their performance and it's a well deserved victory for the home side. The good news is that Martial is back from injury and I hope he stays fit to assist the team in securing a top four finish and I also hope to see the likes of Erikson and and Garnacho recover from injury soon.

Today's defeat saw them dropped to 4th position, and placed them parity with Newcastle in terms of points with Newcastle topping with goals difference and both having 2 games in hand. The race for top four is getting interesting, and it's open to United, Newcastle, Tottenham, Brighton, and Liverpool.

For me, it was an unexpected win for Manchester united, I had high hopes for them, but unfortunately, its a sad story, I am not a Manchester united fan, But I felt really disappointed with the outcome of this game, My friends who are fans of Man united are all disappointed, We should have had a good time this evening but Manchester united ruined everything, I could even sit to watch the match to the end cus from the way Manchester united played, it was so evident they didn't really prepare for this game, Newcastle indeed used their opportunities well and I am happy for them.
I hope Man united learn from this and play better in their next game.

I think it was one of Newcastle's best performances of the season. They dominated attack and pressed well enough to score 2 goals. No one could have guessed that Eddie Howe had a great job today, while Manchester United had to swallow hard after the bad statements about Newcastle went around.

In a few days, Newcastle will travel to the London Olympic Stadium for a postponed match. West Ham, who are the hosts, must be wary of this team's confidence considering they really want to win a place in the Champions League next season. It’s really sad to see the lads play so poorly. Playing away doesn’t have anything to do with the poor performance the team put up while playing Newcastle. They couldn’t create any chance that would lead to goal when they had the ball and the match statistics shows they had more of the ball than Newcastle.
Newcastle pretty much dominated the first half of the game. Second half, they renewed and strengthened their attacks and were rewarded with 2 goals. I did think and hoped Manchester United would win the game but it was a disappointing loss for the lads and for me as well. Good game for Newcastle and a well deserved win.
