Well even if Chelsea strikes a deal with Pochettino now, i don't think he will start the job until the end of the season, that is when he would take over and take the team through the pre season all the way down to the new season. But this is football and anything can happen, Lampard might be sacked very soon and replaced with Pochettino, though that would be pretty comical for Chelsea and would just further prove how clueless Todd Boehly is, firing and hiring managers without even understanding what's best for the club. Not being careful in managing the team will make the problem worse. Since taking over the top leadership position, many arbitrary policies were carried out by the new owner. Yesterday chelsea lost again at home and it was against brentford, i think they should give lampard some time because when he arrived he found a broken team and yesterday performance was really good despite the loss, chelsea team dominated the game i think they only need a good striker and some strategy changes and they will be back on track.

I personally see Chelsea just needing a strategy that suits all their players better. Because basically they already have enough quality players.
