I saw Manchester United against Aston Villa learn from their mistakes against Tottenham yesterday, and the only goal from Bruno Fernandes in the 39th minute held up well.
and Manchester United's game looks to play very carefully, especially in defense which is very tight guarding the goal which makes it difficult for Aston Villa to score goals.
standings 1 to 4 will be very interesting and currently Manchester City lead the standings after beating Fulham 1-2 and currently only 1 point difference with Arsenal. And Newcastle in third and Manchester United in fourth are just two points away and have both managed to get full points in the games they have just concluded.
but Manchester City and United have 1 game left from Arsenal and Newcastle, and if both of them always win in the remaining matches Mancester City will be the champion and Manchester United will be in third place.

To be honest, I will be looking forward to the games from Tottenham and Liverpool because indeed this is Diaz's return as a starter and I am looking forward to this because regardless of performance Diaz is needed now.

The sad part is that there is little or no hope for Arsenal to return to the top of the table because even if Manchester City is topping with a point difference, they have played one matche lesser than Arsenal. This therefore means that, if they win their outstanding match, they will be topping the league with clear 4 points.

There is hope for Arsenal if only Manchester city should lose their outstanding match. Though at the moment the problem doesn't really lie on Manchester City losing their next match cuz as stands now Arsenal still has tough matches ahead and. I'm not seeing Arsenal as the winner of this title cuz their destruction will not only stop in the dradrawntch against Southampton, Arsenal is still going to draw or lose. I doubt they can conveniently beat Chelsea to get 3 points

Manchester United's appearance in this match is not very good and there are many opportunities that they can use to score goals, but because finishing is still less than optimal, so it is only able to score one goal. This is a pretty good result for Newcastle in the previous few seasons and they have managed to be in the top three/four of the standings so far. Even though there is no change in the standings, Manchester United still has one game left, so there is still a big enough chance to be in third place and Newcastle must keep the chance of winning in every remaining game.
Liverpool - Tottenham

Next we will see the match between Liverpool vs Tottenham, both of them really need points in this match and Tottenham is in a condition that is not profitable because Liverpool has the potential to take over the top five for a while. Lol this isn't going to end in a big Déjà-vu for Tottenham is it? This is insane after the game against Newcastle to again be down 0-2 against Liverpool after 5 minutes. What is wrong with Tottenham? This is really crazy. I can't believe it. I doubt that they will come back this game. They are probably shitting their pants right now that this one is going to be a nightmare worse than the last one.

Liverpool 2-0 within 5 minutes of the game against Tottenham Hotspurs. exactly the start you want as Liverpool. There is no question of a bad season now and if they just win the remaining games then they have received a CL ticket and they have played a normal season. The only thing that is disappointing is that at the winter break they actually had no chance to become champions. That will have to improve in the near future. But City appears to have the longest breath. The difference was made in the head-to-head game and Arsenal failed to win a few games in a row, while City managed to win all games, including today. Maybe a little lucky, but that's the luck of a champion.

Yes, and the loss to Manchester City was a heavy blow for Arsenal and besides that reigning champions Manchester City still have a game in hand and this makes Arsenal's chances of becoming champions this season even smaller.

Honestly expecting something like this is quite difficult.
Even though we know that anything is possible, looking at the current condition of Manchester City and some of their current opponents it is clear they are the favourites.



Their remaining 6 matches are currently only Brighton and Chelsea which in my opinion is a little troublesome, and even then it doesn't really apply to Chelsea with the current conditions.
At the moment they have one game in hand and they are already 1 point ahead of Arsenal so it will be difficult for Arsenal if Manchester City continues to do very well.

It's very sad to see that if kevin was not playing against fulham. The performance from manchester city looks bad at this moment. Haaland was making the first goal through penalty. it seems like that if pep will not be regularly using KDB as starting lineup. Manchester city faces difficulty to build an attack. It seems like that if pep was trying to keep keving for the important match. pep didn't wanna see its club will be playing an important match without de bruyne. Fulham was giving a tough game against city on its stadium.

I think we should appreciate Fulham for giving us a game to watch, making the champions have to work for there spot on the league table.  They've come to be take the league from Arsenal with the efforts of teams like Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton who all shared points with Arsenal and left them to catch they breath with Manchester City gaining in heavily on them.

Most people had predicted it beforehand, then in the end it actually came true. Arsenal failed to maintain consistent performance towards the end of the season, of course it was very disappointing for most of the fans who previously felt they were very close to the title.

Arteta has given the best he can, and so have all the players. But in football, you never know for sure who will win the title at the end of the season even if they have led the table since the start of the season. Manchester City took the top of the table from Arsenal, that's a great job from them and I think they will keep it going to secure another title this season. On Haaland, he is a goal machine who really makes an impact in every game Manchester City plays, he is going to break a lot of individual records this season.

For some matches now Tottenham never cease to concede. Today game tells how useless Totenham defense line has been in their past 3 matches. Under 20 minutes in their last game, they were already 3 goals down against Newcastle and additional 2 goals before the second half making it a total of 6 goals in one match, and today Liverpool has already scored them 2 goals under 10 minutes. Liverpool today will be enjoying a very easy play in this match which for a very long time such has not happened.

Liverpool has been so good lately that you would wonder how they've only had there best spot on the league table at the 5 all season and aren't earning a champions league ticket. A couple of games more perhaps.

It's been an interesting first half between both sides, Liverpool and Tottenham.  A very hard to believe first 15minutes of the game fr Tottenham, conceiving 3 goals and even a penalty. I can imagine how frustrating it must have been for the coach. Man City is not too optimal in this match but a win is still a win. With this result, Pep Guardiola squad will always improve their performance until the top of the standings is achieved.
