Arsenal missed their chance to become champions, even though from the start of the season they had stepped on the gas and continued to win in every match they ran. However, when they were at the end of the season, bad luck hit them by continuing to lose points. On the other hand, Manchester City continued to be consistent and slowly closed their distance to Arsenal, and in the end they were in their current position.

Some people said they are not surprised with Arsenal performance this season, they have just done what they have been doing in previous seasons, the only difference is that they stayed too long in the first position giving their fans high hope that they will deliver this season, but I know of someone that predicted it that Arsenal will end up disappointing their fans at the end of the season and it just happened.

I think Arsenal management make a mistake by not signing enough quality players when the transfer window’s was open, am sure that’s what affected them seriously this season, the only thing Arteta should do if he really wants to perform well next season is to sign more defenders and midfielders.

What I want to comment is Liverpool vs Aston Villa match, it's really sad this is the last match for Firmino in Liverpool and yet he help Liverpool to not lose, he only play for 18 minutes. I think Liverpool will regret for not extend Firmino's contract, he's really an underrated player, not many big clubs are interested to sign him. I hope Manchester United will consider to sign Firmino, they lack of striker.

 

This 31-year-old player has spent 8 years of his career at Liverpool. So that Firmino's farewell from the Liverpool club is indeed very touching. In the early days of joining Liverpool he was one of the players who became a mainstay for Liverpool. He has scored around 109 goals in 360 matches with Liverpool. He must be one of the Legends at Liverpool. Because he has contributed a lot to Liverpool. And I think Firmino only being given 18 minutes against Aston Villa has made us realize that he is still a sharp striker. It's just that during the last two seasons he was a little left out. Maybe it started with an injury he had experienced and slowly his position was replaced by another attacking player. Even if he had more opportunities then he is still a very sharp striker. and his last 1 goal at Liverpool has become a parting gift from a Firminho for the Liverpool club. I hope he can find another big club.

This is yet another bad season for Arsenal, you might not agree with me because they sit in the 2nd place but psychologically, they and their fans would be affected. They held success in their hands and it blew away before their eyes. Not only did they miss lifting the trophy after about 2 decades, but they also continued to mess up with their subsequent games. There must be something wrong with the club, they are not just good competitors, and I doubt if they will be able to move farther in the Champions League they qualified for.

Arteta needs to seriously work on the psychology and morale of his side and makes a serious rearrangement next season because I possibly could not decipher where the problem comes from tactically.

Furthermore Arteta has got them back in the champions league and if backed in the transfer window I’m sure that he’ll get them trophies next season hence overall their fan’s shouldn’t be disappointed because at the start of the season no one even thought that they could be in the title race yet they managed to stun all till the very end.

If finishing as runners-up is actually not too bad for Arsenal and when compared to last season, this season the Gunners have been able to look extraordinary. But what is very unfortunate is when they wasted a big chance to win the championship this season. Arsenal threw away a lot of points when facing a match they should have been able to win, especially when they faced it when they entered a crucial match, Arsenal's players looked even more nervous so that the opportunity was immediately taken by Manchester City.

Speaking for next season, the competition will be even tougher. I see it will be difficult for Arsenal to return to perform as well as they have this season. Competition in the Premier League every season will be much more challenging because there are no longer four teams that always dominate, but next season there may be eight teams who are ready to challenge for the title or fight for a place in the Champions League.

Honestly who will ever predicted that Arsenal will be a runner-up in the league this season in midst of Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, Newcastle and Man City who are the top teams and well financed in term of signed players, Arsenal lack of quality depth and a squad full of young players was their big short comings compared to Man City squad, though it bit sad for Arsenal and their fans after staying on top of the league for 285 days unfortunately the team couldn't consolidate that position to remain consistent rather flopped when it matter most and the rest became history, this could have a big Chance of winning it because it won't be easy for the club next season.

For today games two of them are straight forward as Brighton should have no difficulties winning against Southampton and also Manchester City should be able to win comfortably against Chelsea.There is only one which in normal conditions I would bet on West Ham to win but every other site or friend or gambler is pointing to a Leeds win or a minimum as a draw,also the bookies are leaning slightly in favor of Leeds which for me does not make sense at all based on Leeds performance throughout the season.Maybe they are doing so because West Ham should be tired as they played in Netherlands this last Thursday,personally trying my luck on West Ham at 2.65 odd.

Brighton should have no trouble beating Southampton, Southampton is a team that is now at the bottom of the standings with 24 points collected from the 36 matches they have played, and it is certain that they will not be in the Premier League again next season. Meanwhile, Brighton is a team that is perched in 6th position, from the position they occupy alone we can conclude who is stronger. This match will also be held at Brighton's headquarters, so there is no reason for Brighton not to win this match.

This week Premier League is really a big joke.

Brentford scored 3 goals in the second half against Tottenham which leading a goal in the first half.

The results this week were really surprising, I think as we get to the end of the league, the performance of the teams decreases and so we are seeing results that we did not expect. We watched this situation in many teams in many leagues this week.
Liverpool's draw was very bad for them, we can say for sure that they will no longer be in the Champions League. Unless by some miracle, Liverpool will not be in the Champions League next season

Aston Villa is in good form, but Anfield is a stadium where Aston Villa can't do much from the few matches they have played.
Head to head also shows that Aston Villa is not a strong team, although we hope that Liverpool will fail to win full points later so that Manchester United are safely in 4th place in the standings.

Recent Liverpool games have shown that they have made significant improvements, and despite Aston Villa's strong record recently, people are still anticipating great things from Liverpool beecause the match will be played at Anfield and Liverpool does appear to be more powerful while playing at anfield, I believe Liverpool has a better chance of defeating Aston Villa.

We hope that Liverpool will not get full points after the result of the match between Liverpool vs Aston Villa ended in a draw that was so tight and dramatic that it lasted 10 minutes of added time before the referee John Brooks blew the final whistle.
Now the fourth position is ours because Manchester United managed to beat Bournemouth.

It won't be easy for Everton to win because Wolverhampton's performance in the second half of the season has been good which keeps them going for next season because of 40 points. It's different from Everton who is having a bad season.
There is a possibility that Everton will win if Wolverhampton plays like Brighton when they were defeated by Everton in week 35.

I expect Everton to appear very strong today and should and able to defeat wolverhamption so that they can avoid  relegation this season because their points gap with others two teams in relegation zone are not much,it is just one or two points.so they need to work extra hard and look very aggressive to win today's match so they can have hope for not relegating.

Everton couldn't do much yesterday. Wolverhampton immediately stepped on the gas and succeeded in winning in the 34th minute.
The draw thanks to Mina's goal in the final minutes of the match shows that their position is very dependent on Leeds United who will play against West Ham United.

Nottingham forest disappointed Arsenal by defeated them 1-0, because many people predicted for the favour of Arsenal based on their position and their performance in this premier league competition but they missed their opportunity that made them not to win this season title. It was a great celebration in the camp of Manchester city, when Arsenal was experiencing defeat from Nottingham forest in the first half that gave them hope of winning the premier league title again and it was a great honor to their coach too. Well, Arsenal really demonstrated well from the beginning of this tournament before they started falling down for Manchester city to embraced the opportunity from them.

Arsenal's loss of points is something that needs to be investigated. On top of that, Arteta should definitely do research. How did they lose so many points in a row and where did they go wrong? Chelsea are in a condition that makes it impossible for them to beat Manchester city, which I consider the last few years to be Manchester City's heyday. While Chelsea, as we have seen this season, they cannot be relied upon, having sacked 2 coaches has not made them any better. I won't be surprised when they have to lose again with a big score again, because yes, they really have a performance that is far from what they usually show.
Manchester City are now set to take home the Champions League title as well, they beat the club that has won the most Champions League titles by a landslide.

After the game, Roberto Firmino was very emotional and he stood in front of the stadium crowd for a long time and played with his tears. Roberto Firmino has been instrumental in many victories for Liverpool. He managed to score 108 goals in 371 matches for Liverpool. The star's Liverpool career ended with the whistle at Anfield.

8 years already spent by him to play in liverpool.That's why leaving from liverpool has become a very emotional thing for him while at the same time he has been also become a hero to save liverpool from the lose against aston villa.
Firmino will always be a legend for liverpool no matter where he will be playing in the future. I hope that if he will be able to find a new place with a very good environment like liverpool.

I think mentality and composition with experienced player more important why Manchester City can winning Primer League, almost drop at the early season and lead top standings position with short time more than Arsenal but Manchester City success win Primer League for this season in a row for two season.

As a Manchester city supporter, I am happy with this news, seeing Arsenal's defeat by Nottingham forest and leading Manchester city to win the league this season, but I need to appreciate Arsenal as well, who have lasted a long time at the top of the standings and in the end Manchester city won the league and Arsenal managed to become Runners Up. , but I hope Arsenal can play even better in the next season and also in the UCL .

English Premier League matches towards the end of the season are always dramatic, especially when a team that is fighting to escape relegation is involved in the battle you will expect anything to happen.
I wasn't surprised when Nottingham Forest had to beat Arsenal because Nottingham Forest is actually fighting to escape relegation. While Arsenal already knew that they have handed over the trophy to Manchester City.

If I were Liverpool I wouldn't even keep Firmino in the team because I cannot play him over the young talented stars that are in the club. I think his time has passed in the club, he should look for a new adventure.

And Arsenal's defeat at home to Nottingham Forest has provided clear benefits for Manchester City where Manchester City have immediately won the Premier League again this season. Even though Manchester City still have three games left that they haven't played at the end of this season, the effects of Arsenal's defeat have made them feel like champions this season again.

And on the other hand Nottingham Forest is also almost safe from potential relegation this season because if Leeds United cannot win the two remaining matches for them at the end of this season and from what I have observed, the opponents for Leeds United in the two remaining matches are very heavy so that it is unlikely for Leeds United to win the remaining two matches at the end of this season.

Yes, There is no doubt that there will be a lot of enthusiasm for today encounter between Manchester City and Chelsea. Throughout the course of the season both clubs have displayed their skill on the pitch but it is obvious that Manchester City is in a superior position. Their impressive winning streak which includes the convincing victory over Chelsea in their most recent match demonstrates their tenacity and talent. Manchester City has constantly shown they can defeat tough opponents because to their outstanding roster and powerful strikers. Even though the result of any game is never guaranteed Manchester City is a difficult opponent to be reckoned with due to the depth of talent and strength within their ranks. Arsenal set another league anti-record - Arsenal led for 248 days in the championship, but failed to become champions. This had never happened before, and teams that were in the lead for such a length of time became champions. It's hard to say whether it's Arsenal's fault or the merit of Manchester City, who again had a phenomenal season and the super purchase of Haaland also helped them a lot.

Nottingham Forest also strengthened the squad this season for a reason, because it helped in the last game against Arsenal.

A successful season for Arsenal?  I don't think so, they did what other teams couldn't do which was giving Pep's boys a lot of headache just to secure the EPL title but when it's time to show why they [Arsenal] have been at the top they fell and let City being crowned Champions on the day they [Arsenal] lost to Nottingham Forest, is just a shameful success. I can't really tell how the fans feel right now, knowing that they're not capable of competing for the EPL title.
It would have been a SUCCESSFUL SEASON if they won the league but finishing second is a NO NO for me, what are they going to do in the Champions league? Facing Bayern and losing 5-0 again? This season is a big mess for Arsenal.

Arsenal lost their last match 1-0. I think if Arsenal play a bit more responsibly they can beat Manchester City. But at times Arsenal have been putting in performances that are truly beyond expectations. Hopefully Arsenal will continue their winning streak.

Congratulations to Manchester City for a trophy well fought for and deserved. Manchester City didn't start the season so excellently but as the season progressed they found their pace and pattern and they were steady till the end. This is unlikely Arsenal who were consistent from the beginning of the season but towards the end they lost concentration.
The expectation did not end as Manchester City is now the Champions of English Premier league but the case is that even in the nearest future I did not see any club that will beat Manchester City in the coming season unless if Newcastle United will pump money to get players who can contest for next season.

Even after performing well against Wolves, Everton could not win. However, Everton's performance in today's match was very good. Despite a lot of attacks, they were unable to break down Wolves' defense, but a win in this match would have kept Everton safe from the relegation zone. But now if Leeds United can win their next match Everton will be in the relegation zone. However, Leeds United's performance is not good. I don't think they will win the next match.

You are taking the absolute perspective here, meaning that you put it into binary terms saying that a title is success, no title is no success. I agree to some degree because Arsenal did a great job for quite some time during this season, but losing the title against one of the best Manchester City teams we have ever seen really isn't a catastrophe.

You could also say that Arsenal outcompeted Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea. If anyone said that before the 22/23 season, hardly anyone would have believed it. What is bad is how they played in recent weeks. This wasn't really the Arsenal we got to know deep into the second half of the season. That's a bad ending for them, but in total the season was probably more successful than they expected.

Competing with Manchester City these days is hard, isn't it?
