It seems that playing with second-tier players will not make Manchester City lose against Chelsea and that is quite evident with the narrow victory that the Cityzen won. The only goal scored by Julian Alvarez in the 12th minute was also the winning goal for Manchester City at home. Without any gaps from Manchester City and with the solidity they have on all fronts, it is indeed very appropriate if they win the EPL this season.

I felt shammed today as a Chelsea fan, it would had been bettern if Pep Guardiola used his stronger side and beat us 3:0 then what happened today with his weaker side. This wasn't even his second tier players, it was a mixture of his second and third tier players and some fourth tier if we revisit the line up. Chelsea has been so poor that we couldn't score against a city side that hasn't played together this season. It was a clown show and sterling was the only player trying to proven himself on the pitch. Others were a waste and now I understand where the problem is coming from, it's the manager (Frank Lampard) fault as he's clueless both off and on the field.

How can you playing against Manchester city and you're not using your best players, who are you reserving them against when we have nothing else to play for, for this season. Why didn't he start the players we spent million accumulating in the summer and January transfer window. After seeing Chelsea lineup I was disappointed to watch the game but got some relief to see Manchester city lineup although I asked myself what if Pep Guardiola decided to play Haaland and the rest of the stronger squad players, they would had destroyed Chelsea. Lampard is a mistake to this club and I'm sorry saying this but he should never coach any club again.

Manchester City haven't been banned from any competition, they have only been charged by the Premier League, and do not expect a verdict to be reached on that case pretty soon, i expect it to linger on for quite a long time, and i predict that it would end in City either being fined or get a slap on the wrist. BTW, why have you brought this up on the day City have been crowned EPL champions for the third time in a row, and for the fifth time in six years, even if you don't like the club, just congratulate them and move on.

Even though his score meant nothing as liverpool was still still playing in europa league and his goal has been telling all of liverpool fans if he has become hero for liverpool for around 8 years. Firmino sees liverpool as his family and it will always be like that.

With his age at the moment I think he is still a good player. Maybe the better performance of Gakpo and Nunez made Kloop not give enough minutes for him anymore. I remember another season like this for Chelsea in the past. Those were really dark times and they must be very disappointed with having another similar season to that now. They will definitely want to forget about this horrible season immediately. The way they can do this is to bring the right manager and build the team in the best manner possible.

Chelsea are a team that know how to handle this kind of situations as they are experienced about that. I hope that we can see a much stronger team next season. They should be able to finish a season in top 4 as the first step.

There is nothing they can do now because with their current condition, Chelsea seem to have given up on their current condition.

Chelsea started poorly this season and ended the season the season in a worst form. I don't know if it was the change of ownership that affected the club,because it was Abrahamovich that brought Chelsea into the light when he bought Chelsea in 2003. Maybe there are what he does to motivate his club players that Todd lacks.

The club has good players but they are finding it very difficult to win matches,which is a big problem to Chelsea. I hope that next season will be a better season for them as they need to get a better coach to do the job and let Lampard go to hell. Todd lacks the knowledge on football club as a business and this is affecting Chelsea badly. Or do I say that as Abrahamovich sold off Chelsea,they have gone back to their worst form before he bought them.

This week Premier League is really a big joke.

Brentford scored 3 goals in the second half against Tottenham which leading a goal in the first half.

Liverpool which is undefeated club can't win against Aston Villa, when the match take place in Liverpool's home.

Nottingham Forrest beat Arsenal.

What I want to comment is Liverpool vs Aston Villa match, it's really sad this is the last match for Firmino in Liverpool and yet he help Liverpool to not lose, he only play for 18 minutes. I think Liverpool will regret for not extend Firmino's contract, he's really an underrated player, not many big clubs are interested to sign him. I hope Manchester United will consider to sign Firmino, they lack of striker.

Tottenham are not even ready for progress I am disappointed in them
The next manager better ask for the plans because the best have come and couldn't win so I wonder who will win then trophies

Tottenham had good days with Conte and they must have to hire some better players because Conte had good performance in Tottenham during the time when he was working there, but they got him fired, Tottenham had the worst results and now they are in 8th place of the table while they lost the recent two games they had.

I attempted to examine Manchester City's fixtures following their match against Chelsea in order to determine the last time they lost a game. However, I was unable to find any losses in their recent history, this is not because they haven't suffered any defeats in the past few months; rather, the matches they have won overshadowed any losses and were all marked with green checkmarks.

I was amazed by how they managed to turn things around towards the end of the season, as for Chelsea, I couldn't help but feel disappointed in them. Pep decided to bench key players from Manchester City to showcase their dominance in the English league, and Chelsea fell right into his strategy. I can only wonder how the game would have unfolded if Pep had chosen to start the tough players from the beginning.

I was quite sure that Guardiola will take this one easy. Gündogan, De Bruyne, Grealish, Silva and even Haaland are sitting on the bench. In regards to Haaland that surprises me because Guardiola sometimes takes away the opportunity for him to increase his record. He also took him off the pitch when he scored five goals in the Champions League and Guardiola said he did that because he wanted Messi to keep the five goal per game record in that competition. That is a bit weird in my opinion, but it doesn't matter.

Since Manchester City have already won this seasons title, it is understandable why he has decided to give other players a chance. Chelsea will loose this game, that is something everyone knew, the question is by how many goals and if it is going to be another embarrassing game for them. Lampard put Sterling since he already has an experience with Manchester City as an old player from there, but I do not think that he will be able to make any difference or even score.

This should be a very meaningful lesson for Chelsea, especially for their management and staff because indeed their problem starts from the root when a major reshuffle occurs for the top officials which has destroyed their condition until now.
On the other hand, this is also a good lesson for Todd not to be too hasty in decisions for both players and coaches, just because he is the most powerful doesn't mean he can do whatever he wants because it is clearly self-defeating.

Confirmation has been given that Liverpool will play in the Europa League next season. that means if manchester united has been qualified for UCL next season. It's caused by liverpool was getting draw against aston villa while MU was winning against bournemouth. The gap is not possible anymore to be surpassed by liverpool at this moment. There's no need to wait it even longer caused by MU is able defending its position right now. MU just need to fix its defensive line and buy a new striker.
Buying some defenders and a good strikers will be enough for manchester united as it has lots of good midfielders and wingers.

I think with their current condition in the top 4 and with 1 title owned by Ten Hag, which is still their first season in the EPL, it shows that they have improved their performance.
Even though we know that several conditions, especially for the defense, there are still many gaps, especially when Martinez and Varane don't play, of course things like that can still be changed.
Now it depends on Ten Hag whether they will make the same conditions or try even harder for next season.
