Chelsea couldn't score a goal despite hundreds of attempts, while Man city scored one goal and that 12" but couldn't score any more goals. the match was very competitive for both teams. even though Man city won the match, they weren't much appreciated for this match. because at least they should have won 2-0 and many expected it but Man city couldn't do it.

These statistics belong to the Newcastle - Leicester match. It was really hell of a performance by Newcastle as you can see clearly in the picture above as well. It was just a little unlucky for them at the same time but they definitely got what they wanted from the match anyway. One point was enough to carry them to the Champions League. Liverpool's losing points to Aston Villa was also a great help for them.

The real danger is just continuing to exist for Leicester. It would be really disappointing for me to see them being relegated. I believe they are actually a team with much more potential than Everton this season. We can see that clearly from the number of goals these teams scored as well. Everton are a very unproductive team but they still can stay 2 points ahead.

I think Leicester will win next time but I don't know if Bournemouth can hold off Everton.

For Manchester United this is a great opportunity to shift Newcastle in 3rd place in the standings and with the remaining two matches that Manchester United have it seems they have the opportunity to do just that. For Leicester they still have hope in one game remaining next week and if they manage to win then they still have a chance to appear in the EPL next season, but with a note that Everton have to lose.

It’s a great opportunity for Manchester United to overtake Newcastle and take their spot on the third place on the league table. Hopefully Manchester United would win their remaining games but I honestly can’t trust them to do that. Either way, Newcastle seem to have already qualified for the Champions League next season and that could be classified as an achievement for the club.
Having played a goalless draw against Leicester City, I had thought it would be an easy win for Newcastle but Leicester held their own till the end depriving Newcastle of a win.

Leicester got a draw today but it wasn't a very well-deserved one either. Because Newcastle were in full control of the game from the start to the end. They played it one-sided and had so many goal opportunities as well. But still there was no goal by any side at the end of the game. This was rather unexpected for me because I thought both teams would score considering their aims and scoring capabilities.
Maybe Leicester had only 1 goal attempt but Newcastle should have scored some goals after making so many attempts to score. Still Newcastle got what they wanted as they secured a spot in the Champions League.

Yeah I was not impressed at all because the match was really a one sided affair and that wasn't what I expected would transpire in this game but notwithstanding I think Newcastle only drew this match knowing fully well that a draw can get them that desire spot in the champion league and they felt relax with the draw although they missed many of their chances but I just have this feeling that if they were in desperate need of a win the game would have been a different atmosphere altogether.

Leicester City actually got really lucky that they were able to get away with 1 point from this match. The way New Castle United was attacking in this match it felt like there was only one team in this match, lol... And it was the case, there was only one team in this match.

I really have no idea how the match actually ended in a draw! But this was an okay result for Newcastle United. Leicester City is still in the relegation zone. I do not think they will actually be able to get out of the relegation zone this season. They will play against West Ham and I don't think they will be able to win that match. And even if they are able to win that match I don't think Everton is going to lose their last match against Bournemouth.

Manchester City as usual, even though in this match, seeing the actual finishing conditions was not as usual for them, but when Chelsea conceded in the first 12 minutes of the match, it really made Manchester City ahead in this match.

They are aware that the possibility of Everton dropping points in the last match against Manchester City is very large, although indeed it will not be effective if they also lose, but in the last match with such a possibility they will struggle more to win and get 3 points which will keep them from relegation.

The Newcastle United Vs Leicester city match was so awesome that it was worth watching. No one expected the match to be a draw as Leicester played very well in the early stages but less passing the ball later on. Especially contributing to the draw in the match was Leicester City's goalkeeper who made four excellent saves. Newcastle United did enough to win the match but Leicester goalkeeper nick pope made enough saves. Newcastle United had a lot of attacks that could have scored a goal but could not succeed despite so many attacks in the match. Newcastle United drew the match at their home ground which was not a happy moment for them at all. Newcastle United are third in the points table with 70 points and they are doing enough to move up to second in the points table.  But Arsenal are currently in second place with 81 points, so Newcastle United's points are 11 points less than Arsenal's.

Only get a draw from such domination is very bad and unlucky but Newcastle United are happy because after all they will play in Champions League after twenty years. It is a very long time since their last appearance in Champions League and surely it is time for big celebration with this big achievement.

With new rich clubs, being qualified for Champions League will help them a lot in squad building. Without Champions League qualification, they will struggle to convince star players to join even they are ready to pay very good salary. Some star players care more about their career chance, not only focus on salarly.
