The most important thing is never to equate Manchester United in the past with Manchester United so far. It's definitely different.
Manchester United are currently struggling and Manchester United's efforts under the coach of Erik ten Hag will be successful.
You are confused by the current Manchester United game which is said to be disorganized, does not look like there is a leader in the team and so on. There are lots of other people out there who are more confused than you because they most likely don't understand football.

Many impromptu observers who recently appeared to provide an analysis of a team, if asked specifically what was the background of the analysis could not give a clear answer.

Ten Hag will be much more demanding this season as he has already been given enough time to put together a team that he thinks can win the Premier League. But the first two matches showed that Manchester United are now far from their optimal form, they played the first match with the Wolves not very confidently but still managed to win, but the match with Tottenham showed that he team has problems.

This is an indisputable fact especially looking at the statistics of the previous 2 matches, more than 30 shots they took but less than 10 on target and 1 goal that can be converted proves that their finishing is really bad in the start of the season this time.
Ten Hag must try to exploit Manchester United's attacking line more now because it will be troublesome if it continues like this.
This week they will face Nottingham Forrest, overall I am still quite confident for Manchester United and indeed they must bring 3 points in this match so that it can be a good capital before facing 2 tough matches (Arsenal and Brighton) so considering this Manchester United must win in today's match.

This is the reason I sometimes find it difficult to believe in United performances while their performances have always been inconsistent unlike when they still had past glory which had very good quality compared to what it is now.
I have bad thought about Erik Ten Hag that he will really fail to bring United back to its former glory because last season and this season there have always been problems in terms of performance on the pitch and it looks bad when United players are unable to score goals. or defend his own goal.
This would really punish Ten Hag as a coach who only made vague promises to lift United again but the results were disastrous.

Another day to remind Manchester united how terrific their defensive midfield is this season and need reforming.  Too much of defensive errors and if it continues this way it's going to be tough on Onana affecting his confidence on the goalpost.
Nottingham forest are not taking chances converting their first two goals on target to their favour. Although it's currently 2-1 now with Nottingham leading the game in the first half. My guts are that if the score line ends as it is now then this game is going to end in a stalemate 2-2 draw.

Onana perform ridiculously awful, how can Notthingham Forrest's players scored 2 goals after the match begin. I think both of this clubs clearly underestimated the opponents, the attitude indeed isn't good.

Lol, the match just ended and Tottenham managed to win with clean sheets with a score of 0-2. Obviously, I think Tottenham this season has a refreshment and a different color after Kane departure to Bayern Munich. Because anyway, it looks like Tottenham can be better this season and I hope so, at least Tottenham have a great chance to be able to compete in the top four this season. Happy to get this good result, because it proves that Tottenham can still have a good performance even with a squad that is at least new compared to the presence of Kane in the team.

We just couldn't say yet how well they will perform. Yes they have started well so far but there are still 35 rounds more to go and with injuries that can go down quite quickly as they also don't have proper backup in my opinion. They have started strong so far as they have some good reinforcements in midfield and they are playing some good football. Their defence have been doing well also. Glad to see they are turning around their performance but they have yet to achieve consistency like one would expect from big 6 of PL.

As painful as this is , I can't help but agree with you , Manchester united started their game today on a very bad footing , looks like they never prepared for this game , or maybe they too much under-estimated their opponent , we are in a half time right now , and even with the extra 2 minutes added, nothing positive happens for Manchester united, same with Arsenal ...

Let's see what happens in the second half , Manchester united can lose to Nothinham forest for all I care , but Arsenal should please don't lose to fullham, it's too early to start losing games to smaller teams .

Yeah I am also wondering what's going on. After Chelsea and Spurs victory with 3 and 2 goals respectively. Manchester United and Arsenal are 1 goal behind their opponents since the first minutes to the games! I expect them to wake up and get at least a draw in their matches.

I don't wonder about that, because Chelsea are facing a very weak team that is a team that was promoted to the Premier League this season, so the difference in the number of goals is definitely there and very reasonable. Moreover, Chelsea played at home against Luton, while Arsenal and Manchester United both still had time to turn things around because they were only one goal behind their opponents in the first half. So there is still time and the possibility to change the score in the second round later.

It's so suprising that Nottingham Forest could take a lead against in the first half of the game and score two goals against Manchester United, I think the Manchester United are not disciplined enough, they play sluggishly like they're not getting enough training and missed many chances of turning the game around, the team lack composure, team spirt and couldn't give a complete pass, making Forest to press more with a counter that lead to the first goal
 There are many players in United that doesn't look fit enough in that game, dalot for example if you noticed the Nottingham Forest players keeps pressing from that wing and it seems it seems like the wing looks empty and easy for the opposition to break in there defense through that area, the 2nd half is about to kick off and they'll have to do everything possible to make up for their mistake and turn  the game around.

Manchester United seemed to be losing control, they were so easily broken into by the opposing team since the match had not been five minutes. Manchester United's defense is very bad, they still haven't been able to build solidity after conceding 2 goals when they were beaten by Tottenham last week.
Manchester United still doesn't look like a big team even though they have strengthened the team with the arrival of the player Ten Hag wanted. There are still 45 minutes left for Manchester United to comeback after trailing 2-1 to Nottingham forest, Ten Hag had to change strategy in the second half to prevent his team from losing two games in a row.

The young lads of Arteta are going to face Fulham in some minutes time and I expect the Gunners to do better than they did last time against Palace which almost ended up in a draw.
I know by now they might have learnt a lesson or two to stay focus in the game.
Fulham would throw everything they have got at Arsenal on this encounter because Arsenal aren't the team most clubs are scared of, they score 1 goal and they feel relax like it's all over but if this Fulham side get a goal it would make the Gunners to be under pressure and one thing I come to know about Arsenal is that they don't know how to play under pressure, they do panic when it's not necessary.
I would really like to see Arteta getting a comfortable win with a free flow of football, who knows... Rice might get a goal today.

I really would love to see some more scoring actions for Arsenal but Trossard in the striker again? I don't think that works so well. Saka and Ødegaard may score. I hope Trossard surprises me and score today. I expect Arsenal to win the game and pass first three weeks without a loss. That would give them the luxury of losing points in the following weeks against harder opponents. They shouldn't lose points against mid level teams at Emirates.

Arteta has his ways of selecting his first 11 and I can't believe Trossard, Saka, Martinelli and Havartz all starting for Arsenal, what's happening? Is best he brings in Trossard for Martinelli or Havartz in the second half to add more energy to the game.
With all these players in the game I was expecting them to make Fulham run for their money but is Arsenal struggling to get an equalizer.

Are these players too young and immature? They can't seem to find a connection. Let's wait and see what tactics Ten Hag will use in the second half to help them come back.

I wouldn't be quick to conclude that Manchester united performance in the first half of better than that of Arsenal based on the fact that Manchester united scored one goal , and arsenal didn't score any ..

If we look at it based on goal, it is purely the same , Nothinham forest scored two goals against Manchester united , and Manchester united managed to respond back with one goal , Fullham scored just one goal against Arsenal , and Arsenal have managed to stop them from scoring another , so both Arsenal and Manchester united have one goal each against themselves ..

But then again, both teams did not try at all in the first half , but let's see what the second half holds , Arsenal better win please, I was hopeful they would .

It’s gradually turning into an interesting EPL weekend after all, Arsenal loosing at home to Fulham, Manchester United just a managed to level up with Nottingham Forest and are still kicking for more chances at goal, Brentford beating Crystal Palace by a goal to zero. So far, only Tottenham as managed it to prove themselves a top tier team by taking the lead early, scoring a second goal to advance there position and maintaining there lead to the final whistle.

There is still enough playing time to change something for the games that are live at the moment and Manchester United is really pressing hard with B. Fernandez and Anthony getting dangerous balls to the box.
Arsenal is still finding there options but, Fulham has been reading them good with a packed defensive line to keep them at bay.

I almost can't believe these two strong EPL teams have to concede faster since the early minutes and surely anyone who bets on these two teams will be very emotional seeing the interim results. Onana is like an amateur goalkeeper and he doesn't reflect as a good goalkeeper in one of the big teams. I watched footage of Onana's unpreparedness to save a Nottingham player's shot and he just fell on the spot, that's very funny for a 50 million euro goalkeeper. I think it's true that these two teams played with emotion because they had to catch up and win this match as much as possible. The temporary score for Manchester United vs Nottingham was 2-2 and Arsenal had just equalized through a penalty scored by Bukayo Saka which also drew the score 1-1 against Fulham.

Arsenal actually scored a goal in the first half but unfortunately it was annulled and in the second half Arsenal continued to attack but Fulham strengthened the defence so there is no way for Arsenal players to score, Arsenal needed a bit of luck to get the first goal let's see what they can do in the remaining 30 minutes. On the other hand Manchester United have managed to equalize the score and currently Nottingham is playing with 10 players meaning Manchester United  has a chance to win, I don't think Manchester United will waste this opportunity let's just wait.

A fascinating first half and yet Arsenal finds it very difficult to break the deadlock as Fulham wouldn't allow the space between the midfield and the defense to Arsenal to penetrate. This match is one of the most thrilled this weekend because Fulham wouldn't allow Arsenal take advantage of playing at home,no matter the pressure that Arsenal is mounting on them. The second half is going on and it is really a tough match which both teams are playing impressively with Arsenal having more chances of scoring but they ain't lucky enough. I don't know we should still expect a goal from both sides or the match will end up 1-0 against Arsenal.

Finally Arsenal has won a penalty by Viera. Saka has scored a penalty to give a break through for hope of winning the match. What a great equaliser.

Manchester United seems they don't have anything to offer their fans this season and Manchester United seriously lacks attack I remembered when they wanted Osimen but all became void and in today's game sincerely Manchester United's performance is poor and even before the game started and I suspected the game might end draw but united is already leading with one goal and Nottingham has become a very strong club not expected, and arsenal is not doing bad and both Nottingham and fulham are down by one man and its another opportunity for them to score.

Bournemouth v Tottenham will kick off in about 10 minutes. Totthenham are off to a good start in the league. After drawing away to Brentford and beating ManU at home, Totthenham will want to win this away game. We cannot say that it will be an easy game for them but I think it will be a difficult match for both teams. Bournemouth, on the other hand, have scored in both of their matches. I expect this to be a game where both teams can score goals.

Totenham was scoring in the first half after madison was giving a good touch to finishing it. i saw that richarlison performs so badly by missing a lot of chances in scoring more goals for totenham.
The good thing if ange was changing richarlison. I think that he has very low contribution to the club, he was always missing the chance and ball. That's the reason why conte didn't put him in the starting line up caused by how inconsistent richarlison was.
He was overrated striker. Bournemouth was always doing counter attack in this match. The club performs even better since richarlison was out.
Totenham is now leading the match 2-0 against bournemouth. I expect another goal may happen soon.

Despite Richarlison's poor performance, I see that the overall performance of the Tottenham team in this match was quite good, they played very confidently.
Now there are 15 minutes of normal time left, it is very likely that Tottenham will be able to score again or the 2-0 score will last until the end because I see that the Tottenham defense is solid enough for Bournemouth players to pass.

totenham has been getting perfect win against bourne. im feeling bad caused by i was not taking this match. There have been wonderful improvements in totenham as the club is not relying upon kane. Ange seems to bring a new face to the totenham at this moment.
It looked like so hard for totenham since the first half but madison was making it even easier after the first goal was just happening. Ange was able slowly improving this club. Even though totenham was not a favorite but this club may able to compete with top clubs.

The second half was the winning half for Manchester United and I'm sure you've seen it too because goals by Casemiro and Fernandes via Penalty in the 76th minute have brought victory for Manchester United. Because there is not much time left for the game and Nottingham Forest will not be able to equalize in the final minutes of the match, so directly the tactics of Erik Ten Hag are still good enough for Manchester United this season.
