It was a pretty bad result for Chelsea.    I thought this would be their first win of the season but they got a big loss. Even after West Ham got a red card they still scored another goal against Chelsea. When you look at the statistics of the game Chelsea seem very superior to their opponent. But the result doesn't say the same thing.

Maybe the turning point of the game was the penalty missed by Enzo Fernandez. Because if he scored the penalty Chelsea were going to get 2-1 ahead. After capturing the psychological superiority too they could have won this game.

This could be just the beginning of Chelsea's misrey but loses are good for they will get back to the top if they're really ready and serious
Today they did well, the player's attacked well. Raheem Sterling was the best player for Chelsea in the first half, big disappointed to see Enzo missing the penalty kick that should have seen them ahaed and made it difficult for blues to get back into the game.
He should work on his scoring skills Raheem Sterling won the penalty he should have also been the player to play the penalty kick.

I would consider Chelsea result a really big surprise so far considering how good they played in the first game at home against Liverpool.I think they are still a new team considering that Pochettino had time but most probably not enough to make them a stable team yet and the fact that they did not win against 10 players West Ham shows that they wanted badly to win and played in a chaotic way desperately trying to win while giving West Ham chances that unfortunately for Chelsea they were converted to goals.

Given how dominant Chelsea was against Liverpool the previous week and even in the preseason games I watched,it comes as much of a surprise to me.Chelsea plays well but the truth is that I don't believe the team has finishing line yet. Again, there are some errors in Chelsea's defense line today, so if they were able to control the pitch with that ball possession, I anticipated them to launch some significant offensive that may result in numerous goals. Seriously, Pochettino needs to revisit the transfer market and add a few required players. I can't just assume that despite controlling the field, they were unable to defeat the opposition with just 10 men.

Aston Villa did not want to lose the opportunity to win in front of the support of their fans. It seems that Unai Emery continues to improve the performance of his players after last season also appeared so extraordinary. This defeat left Everton in the temporary relegation zone and they must get 3 points in the next game if they don't want to experience the same season as before.

Following Aston Villa 5-1 loss to Newcastle last week, Aston Villa players really made their supporters happy by defeating Everton by a score of 4-0 seriously I didn't anticipate them to defeat Everton by this many goals today due how I saw their performance last match. Chelsea need time to show their quality in the Premier League because this season the average Chelsea player is a new player and also a new coach. So they need time to convince the fans that they will be able to get through this transitional period as well as possible.

Their failure against West Ham is regrettable because their opponent is believed to be easy to beat in this match. But the surprise happened because West ham was able to get full points and beat Chelsea which is inhabited by good quality star players.

The performance of Chelsea in today's game against West Ham was absolutely a shadow of what we saw last weekend against Liverpool which is why I think there's is still room for improvement for the blues.
Most members of the squad weren't playing as first team players for the club last season and that's why I think they're still trying to understand each other. Their performance today against West Ham was very poor but I believe they can still do better going forward.

Aston Villa attacked enough today that they are still in contention for victory. In today's match, if Everton can improve their game in the second half, they can definitely bring the match time and if they can perform well, they can draw the match. If Everton can't attack well in the second half, there is certainly the possibility of conceding more goals, and Aston Villa have the best chance of winning.

Aston Villa has extended the lead to 4 goals against the visiting Everton. McGinn scored the first goal before Douglas Luiz doubled the lead by scoring from the spot followed by Bailey and Duran's goal to make it 4 goals to nil.
Everton has been the second best team in the second best team in the match and deserves nothing but what they're currently getting.
 

I think what a good coach  should do after having a terrible defeat is to make corrections and that's what the Aston Villa Unai Emery has done to his team after being beaten disgracefully by Newcastle in the 1st match of the season, lol and of course a 5-1 defeat was enough to boost their morale and they in return decided to destroy Everton with goals today, the Unai Emery team was so outstanding today and played like they didn't get any defeat last week of which if they've played this way against Newcastle maybe they would had won or even get 1point fron the match.
 Looking at Everton the club needs to start getting good performances else they could be relegated this season, their performance last season wasn't all good as well and i expected a change this season but so far it's been defeat upon defeat and they'll be facing Wolves who are also hungry to get their 1st win during the weekend on Saturday, anyways though they'll be playing at home but i think it's a draw match.

I didn't expect that Man United lost 0-2. I bet this game would end goalless. Because in the first half, both teams played equally strong. But after the half-two break, Tottenham managed to make a goal from a counterattack, and Martinez's own goal. Man United had a lot of good chances, but they couldn't make a goal. Rashford are not playing optimally, they don't look like they have a number 9. Hojlund's arrival is expected to solve this problem, but his position is still injured. So it looks like Ten Hag will have to be patient with the current conditions.

No one ever believed that Manchester United would lose a match to Tottenham due to both team's performances. If you check both team's performances from last season, you would conclude that Manchester United is in a better position to win against Tottenham. But that's not how football works. A team you were anticipating to win, might end up losing.
I know of how many of my friends that lost their bets just because of Manchester United's loss to Tottenham.

Even with so many new players and the old problem is still become the main problem for chelsea. Lack of proper finishing from the player. It looks so stupid how pochettino was still using gallagher which was making blunder on its first half.

Judging from the way the blues played in last week's stalemate against Liverpool, I thought Mauricio Pochettino has put the pieces together and the rejuvenated Chelsea are going to be able to crush any team that comes their way. Today's results shows there's still a lot of work to be done by the manager, the dominated most of the game but were poor with their finishing in front of goals. Enzo missed a penalty in the first half, if he had scored it would have given them the lead and probably changed the tempo of the game as well as the subs in the second half. Even when Aguerd got red carded Chelsea couldn't capitalize on it and fight their way back.

Some Chelsea fans in my location have started blaming Mauricio Pochettino. They think he is incompetent, but for me, Chelsea's major problem is a natural and technical goal scorer. The money spent on bringing new midfielders would he been more profitable in signing a world-class striker. From the look of things, except for Nkunku's recovery, the blues might keep struggling to get goals.

Well, Should I say that I was actually not surprised with the outcome of the game between Chelsea and Westham?, even though i am very disappointed for i expected Chelsea to win the game considering how bad their last season was, and the fact that they now have a new and supposed better coach, and even new set of young and talented players, where did they get it wrong this time?, losing sometimes is not a bad thing, most especially when we lose to teams that are agreeably bigger and better than ourselves, but then, Chelsea losing to a team like Westham is really embarrassing if you ask me, westham is not such a strong team for a team as big as Chelsea, what exactly is wrong with Chelsea, i really do not know, but then, lets see how their next game plays out.

I agree with you, 2 to nothing is a good score for this match coming up against Arsenal and Crystal palace, though i still personal think we should not really underestimate Crystal palace for several reasons i am not sure there will be any need mentioning, but then, I am still very hopeful that Arsenal will bring their best game on to make sure they win this match, it will help to keep their spirit and that of the fans high going forward into the tournament.

Bad result in two premier league seasons in a roll is not something i think Chelsea would be so proud of, and would want to allow happen to them, as that could spell their doom, so for this reason, I believe that they will work hard to improve, lets just believe that maybe they came, faced Westham not being totally prepared, maybe due to the fact they somehow underestimated their counterparty, but this loss should be as a sounding bell or warning to them, to realize that if they must do better in this season, they must sit up and get their buckle on like every other big teams.

And like nurilham said, we cant really say or conclude that they have no winning mentality, no matter how disappointed we are with them, but i just think they lack the right orientation, and maybe they have not been training hard enough.

They really do need to change strategies cause the one being doesn’t seem to be working too well. They had a poor performance and just managed to avoid being relegated last season. Now they’ve started this season as well playing poorly. Their lost their last game with Aston villa and conceded 4 goals in the process. Not a good way to start the new season.

Their game with Wolves in my opinion, isn’t looking too good for them either. Despite playing really well and still losing in the game with Manchester United, they’re sure hungry to clinch the win. Still unsure of the outcome but I see both team scoring a goal in this game.

It's understandable when Mauricio Pochettino came to Chelsea he wanted to make a change, by letting go of players he didn't think fit his type of game, but his judgment could also be wrong so that the players he didn't think were right were the opposite.
It looks like Chelsea will still be criticized for their results yesterday, and their three most expensive midfielders Enzo Fernandez, Moisés Caicedo, and Mykhailo Mudryk have not performed well, and hopefully this defeat is not a sign that this season will also be a failed season for them.

Erik Ten Hag is presently in United and they're making these crucial blunders in league games. The EPL is yet to be decisive because this is just round two of the league, we shouldn't jump into conclusions yet. There's time to play for these clubs to fall back to their competitive forms. More managers really need to fixed their club, because I don't understand the entire functions of these players in united. Manchester united played terribly against Tottenham Hotspur, which made them concede 2 goals in the game without proper approach to level the game.
