 After a 5-1 victory against Aston Villa I expected Newcastle to have a more better performance against Mancity even though City where favorites to win the match, they played more defensive instead of trying to attack and forcing Mancity to press more into their own half, Mancity dominated mostly in the match and missed several  chances of scoring more goals and sadly for Newcastle they've lost one of their key player Joelinton to injury although there's no news yet of how seriocauus it looks but he leaping out of the field to the bench and this could be a problem for Newcastle if the injury seems serious.
 
 Haaland was very impressive in this match and could had converted several chances but he kept having slight misses and their was a shot by him that hit the bar, he would had scored a hat-trick in the match if he had successfully converted those chances to a goal, Pep Guardiola's team was very impressive and they're beginning to adapt quickly to the abscent of Debruyne, of which I know that if he was present I'm the match, they've Probably scored more and Haaland would've had better chances of scoring his 1st goal of the season.

Manchester united verse wolves was a very unfair match and I had always thought that Manchester united did not deserve the win, they did not perform well in any half of the match and they where very lucky to even come out as the winner of the match.

Tottenham is also not in form but proved how off form Manchester united is, it wasn't a very exciting match from a neutral fan I would say both team were bad but Manchester united was worse. I think they were wasteful and the midfield was not creating chance.

ETH was not convinced that Manchester United performed poorly against Wolves because of the win and he presented same unchanged squad against Tottenham and today it backfired on him. I don't think the team is that bad, the problem is the tactics been introduced by the manager. No disrespect to Mason Mount who could have been one of Chelsea's bright prospect but I don't see a midfield three with Mount, Casimero and Fernandez, he's just killing the team.

I would expect ETH to make some changes in United's next game. Let Mount be replaced with Erikson, Garnacho should be dropped to the bench and can only come in as a sub, Rashford can play from the left wing and Martial can strike or Sancho can hold the frontline until Rasmus Hojlund is ready.

The  game actually shocked me how Manchester united flopped against Tottenham but actually Manchester united was at disadvantage since they lack attack and all there attempts to get osimen was all void, and just has you predicted the game ended 2:0 and am sure no one would have expected Manchester united to loose against Tottenham, the goal threat were much and it was now looking has if Manchester United are confused, I hope this performance won't continue with Manchester united so that they won't be worst than Chelsea last season, Manchester united need to improve i was not impressed at all. i wasn't really surprised by the final result of Man Utd vs Tottenham because as the host, Tottenham played very lucky and also didn't just defend, Martinez' own goal in the 83rd minute really made the confidence of other Man Utd players down.

Mu was always having worst finishing. It's started by rashford which didn't have accurate heading and then fernandes was just following rashford doing the same thing. MU was missing many opportunities. This is the main reason why i don't even pick this match. It's hard to determine the winner but totenham was able stealing full points from manchester united. Well done totenham, you did a good job. Ange must be feeling so happy. Totenham just proves no kane and no problem.

wow, this is a match that really surprised me, what exactly is the secret recipe from newcastle now, they were only able to concede 1 goal at home to man city, newcastle's defense is really good, i salute them, there is a big chance that newcastle can finish in the top 5 again this season.

Newcastle was a tough opponent but i would say that city has shown its quality. Despite the fact city lacks of recovery time but pep's squad was able showing how superior it is compared with newcastle.

It’s still very early to conclude yet, but the only club for which I still think they can drag the league with Manchester City is Arsenal. I was thinking Manchester United would perform well this season, but from their performance in the two matches that they have played, I think Manchester United is going nowhere this season. Chelsea's performance was good against Liverpool, but I don’t still think they can compete with Manchester City. What Chelsea will be fighting for this season is for them to end the season in the top 5. So I also have confidence that Manchester City is going to win the Premier League again this season.

Manchester city is still highly favored to win the title this season because their performances are still quite impressive even though several important players in the depth of their squad have left in this transfer window. Manchester City strength has proven strong enough when they were able to gain full points against Newcastle United. Apart from Arsenal, Liverpool are also believed to be able to put pressure on Manchester City this season.

Haaland was unable to score in the match against Newcastle United but other players were able to make a big contribution in this match. So the depth of their squad is really balanced in maintaining their consistency to get full points in every game.

True, manchester city can win any game without KDB. That proves that a statement that said city was only relying on KBD was not true. Alvarez has been scoring for city in the match against newcastle.

Newcastle gave us a game that we never expected in that encounter against the reigning Champions Manchester City, I was expecting a battle like City would find it hard to relax do their touching with the ball but Newcastle players were just running round the pitch making  unnecessary mistakes like they weren't settled at all.
I thought after City scored that they'd be too hot for City but they still allow the fight to be brought in their own half. Well I won't say they tried but City only have one attacker at the moment and that's Alvarez, if not for him and how Foden played out in the game, it would have been a draw and for Newcastle they also have a player who killed their attacking force, Almiron, he doesn't have that team spirit he was just playing to impress, I believe that contributed to what made Newcastle to lost the game.

Pep Guardiola is just looking for what will justify his spending when he opens the banks in January transfer window or the summer. Chelsea is winning the premier league, I keep saying this and I'll keep saying it every game week because that's going to be the reality. After the match Jamie carragher a former Liverpool defender and skysports pundit said that Manchester are likely not to challenge for any as title contenders until they sign another a player in another area, of which he mentioned the CDM wing and to be honest that is one area of the wing i really think they should look into, because if you noticed in match against Tottenham they could dominate in that area and both Bruno Fernandes and Mount looked lost and the attackers couldn't covert their created chances to a goal, but the worst player in that match was Casimiro he looks very unfit and too heavy to carry himself around the pitch therefore they'll need a new challenge in that possession and also rest Casimiro to undergo some trainings till he's fit against.

As I predicted earlier, I said that City will win this game with a narrow score. even without being supported by some of its core players, City still put on a very good performance. Phil Foden played very well in last night's match, Alvarez put his assist to good use. City really controlled the game, unfortunately they missed several important opportunities to increase their advantage. in this match, Pep Guardiola made two changes to the main line-up from their last match against Sevilla in the European Super Cup. Palmer was not played, instead Pep played Alvarez. while Ruben Dias was introduced from the early minutes to replace Nathan Ake who was kept on the bench. Pep, successfully brought his team to victory at their own base even though several players were not played.

Mount should play in left winger position since we already know Bruno will always play in attacking midfielder, his position should be replaced with McTominay.

I think the surprise result of today games in the Premier League we can all agree to it to be this lost game of Manchester United.Of course Tottenham is a good level team and it cannot be considered a big surprise yet for me it is as it shows how weak the team of Manchester United it is when playing outside their home field and they are very fragile in defense.Tottenham played better than them and I don't think the fact that Kane is not with them anymore will be felt that much.When I see the result of Brentford in today game winning away from home I think that getting a draw for Tottenham in the first week was not that bad.
