Manchester City have won the last 5 matches against their opponent without conceding a goal. I'm sure they will continue this series. Sheffield United's quality is limited. They play to avoid relegation. I don't think they will have a chance against the champion.
De Bruyne won't be around for 4 months. Now Alvarez has a lot of work to do. We see that he started playing in that area. Pep Guardiola played him there sometime last season as well. Let see how is it going to be.

I was also expecting good performance from the Manchester City in this match just because of this I place good amount as my greediness was on top and have Citizens to win and over 3.5 but at the end I lost this just because of this was never been easy game and KDB absence is surely going to have big impact on their performance in coming matches as well.

Sheffield United goalkeeper Foderingham was impressive throughout match, and he stops many certain goals with Haaland was also not effective as he needs to be in this match, hopefully Manchester City will be improved their performance even right now they are alone with 100% winning rate in first three matches of this new season.

As Liverpool is  now playing with 10 players, it will be much more difficult for them to get back on the truck in this match. Because van dijk is liverpool's most important defender. Without Van dijk, liverpool's defense is quite weak. also newcastle are still playing attacking strategy. It is now very difficult for Liverpool to counter attack Newcastle's attack. We have yet to see a stronger attack from Liverpool in the second half. However  newcastle are the most likely to win at the moment. newcastle won't win today unless there's an accident. Because they are performing very well today. Eddie howe's match strategy is very good. He was also able to strengthen a mediocre team.

Now it's almost end for the Liverpool because we are already in the 80th minute of the game, and they are trailing by 1 - 0 on road against a team like Newcastle Untied mean end of the road for them chances are very slim with this defeat is surely going to have big setback for them and look like they are going to face another problematic season because their performance is not as expectations, so they have to do few changes in few days otherwise they can bowl out of the top four spots for another season.

That was a great match, especially second half was fun to watch. Sheffield United actually played better than expectations and they almost got a point but Foden and Rodri said no to them. Haaland was marked whole game but still scored somehow, with a great assist from Grealish. Haaland missed a penalty for the first time though, it's not that important as long as they won the match and get 3 points. Manchester City looked like they are still the best team in PL. I don't see a competition here.

According to my own analysis, Man U didn't start the match poorly, only that they were caught unawares by Nottm Forest. The two goals by Nottm Forest still baffle me till now, they all happened within the 4th minute of the match, and that was too cheap. But truly, the defence of Man U at that time was very poor. Nottm Forest took advantage of that and was only aggressive and pushed much forward, but they lost in the tactic when Man U realised their aggression, and that was what changed the narrative till the game was over. And for Man U to spread their goals very well means that they are consistent, they were only careless in the beginning. But I wonder why they couldn't score more goals with the afterwards 10-man opponent.

Man United needs to evaluate their back line a lot, if you keep playing like this. not yet suitable to compete at the top for a team like Man United, this is just against Nottingham Forest they have conceded two goals in the first four minutes, what if they meet another big EPL club. Man United was surprised by two Nottingham Forest Quick Goals. However, everything changed when Man United immediately responded with three goals to come back from behind and get three full points. So it is true that Man United must continue to evaluate the defense and must continue to maintain concentration.

Man City dominated the match versus Sheff United, ball possession touching 84%. But so far Man City has only scored one goal, Halaand made amends after failing to execute a penalty. Man City has always excelled in ball possession in every match. But they forgot to score as many goals as last season. They also forget that they have a striker like Haaland, so they don't have enough crosses, they never get a through ball. This should probably be fixed in the next game.

I can't watch Manchester City vs Sheffield United anymore, completely one sided game and Sheffield United has no chance to reach Manchester City's defenders, after 70 minutes they've not made any shoot. Even though Manchester City win with big margin against Burnley, but Burnley was able to compete and made few shots. Props to Wesley Foderingham since he have made good saves.

You jinxed it! Literally just minutes after you made this post Sheffield scored a goal A bad backheel from Walker in the penalty box made City lose the ball and then Bogle made the shot. What a blunder from City.

Edit: Thankfully Rodri scored another goal for City quickly after. Now City is back leading with 2-1.

The match was completely dominant by the Manchester City as they were having good ball possession and control of the ball but still they were not able to score enough goals as Haaland was not in full form with lost of penalty was also not good for his confidence Sheffield United have done enough for not allowing them to score too many goals and then suddenly they also have golden chance which allow them to bring this game at level but sadly in last few minuted Rodri score match winner and Manchester City were able to have full three points from this match even for me with this current performance they never deserve these three points.

There is no doubt today's man of the match awards go to Foderingham he has done impressive job throughout match and have many saves which were certain goals for the Manchester City.

Man City is still very strong this season, despite some shakeups in the transfer market. Man United is slightly better than Chelsea and Liverpool so far, it is very difficult to predict the course of the big club's matches this season.

In today's match of Newcastle vs Liverpool, I will say that was a great comeback from Liverpool. It’s not easy for a 10-man Liverpool team to beat 11-man Newcastle team. Newcastle got their chances to add more goals in the second half but couldn’t convert any of those chances which would be a regret for them after losing to a 10-man Liverpool team.
Darwin Nunez performance today was outstanding, coming from the bench to win the two goals for his team is what is expected from a striker and he has proven himself once more today.

With the way the match was going, I didn’t expect Liverpool to win the match, Newcastle was dominating the game more but couldn’t score more goals. Liverpool got few chances and converted them and that’s spectacular of them. Liverpool have now won two matches and drew one since the start of the league. To me, it’s a good performance so far and they can do better in the coming weeks.

Really a very interesting match between Newcastle vs Liverpool, and the most surprising thing is that Liverpool refused to lose from the 28th minute after Liverpool played with 10 players because Van Dijk got a red card.

And Liverpool continued to look to attack and strengthen the defence, and in the 77th minute Darwin Nunez came on as a substitute. And finally became Liverpool's comeback hero through his two goals in 81 and 90 + 3 minutes, and even then because of the mistake of the Newcastle defender.
Darwin Nunez played very well and Klopp played Darwin Nunez at the right time with a good strategy to focus on Darwin Nunez.

Wow, Liverpool managed to win despite the fact, Liverpool only played with 10 players because van Dijk got a red card in the 28th minute in the first half. With that too, at least Newcastle managed to take the lead in the first half with a score of 1-0 but unfortunately, Liverpool managed to make a goal at least in the 10 minutes before the match ended. Of course, two goals near the end of the match was a big surprise for Newcastle, because basically Newcastle had been in a good result to get three points the match. This team is very strong with many star players in their squad. Because of this, Guardiola was not keen on making too many changes to his squad. Manchester City's squad remains unchanged except for Gundogan's side.

Every team in the Premier League has made changes to their squads. Big teams like Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are still trying to stabilize and bring consistency of performance. But still they are failing. The most consistent performances in the Premier League so far have been Manchester City, Arsenal and Newcastle. I think these three teams will be at the top of the table. The Newcastle team will also be in the top 5 of the table.

Darwin Nunez succeeded becoming man of the matc for Liverpool, have to play with ten player after red card receiving by van Dijk in 28th minutes, Liverpool managed to win three points after Darwin Nunez's brace in the final minutes. Entering to replace Alexis MacAllister in the last 10 minutes, Darwin Nunez only needed 3 minutes to score the first goal in the 81st minute and one crucial goal in extra time made Darwin Nunez a super sub for Liverpool. Its amazing comeback for Liverpool and top perform from Darwin Nunez without ten minutes played success scoring brave and help Liverpool with three points achievement. Can't forgettable night for Darwin Nunez from brace scoring and Jjurgen Klopp have trust him again to get regular position.

Newscastle fell back deep in the second half and Liverpool punished them for that. In the first half, Liverpool started poorly and that was reflected in the half time result. After Jota and Elliot (plus Nunez) came on, Liverpool played more better with an improved defending (Gomez, Matip and Allison were all brilliant) closing those gaps that Newcastle exploited in the half time.

In the end, it was Nunez who was made runs at the right time and with the right strike. For someone who always blanks, it was relieving to see him do 2/2 on Nick pope

It was a delight to watch Liverpool prove why they are a worthy opponent in a match even with 10man instead of 11. At first instance, it was almost looking as if Liverpool would score, but the referee made a solid unrevoked decision which saw Van dyke shown the red card..
The young lad who netted for Newcastle united is going to be one tricky and fast player that defenders got to be scared of. With a little prunning and out of range shot practice, am sure he would be more trouble coming from the left anytime he is on pitch of play.

Liverpool are very lucky to get full 3 points in this match. I'd say Nunez is the only reason they got the 3 points. But I would have been happy if Newcastle had won. Because they deserve 3 points from this match. Throughout the match we saw the dominance of Newcastle players. The performance of Liverpool's players was very disappointing. Their main task was to repel Newcastle raids. But Liverpool's goalkeeper Alisson played very well. Alisson would not have won this match if his performance was not good. Nunez scored the first goal in the 81st minute and the second goal in the 90th minute to seal the win.

This is a remarkable win for Liverpool. I thought with the red card Newcastle United would have a free day and cheaply win the match. But I was wrong because the visitors showed commitment and worked hard to get the deserved win. Jurgen Klopp proved to be an experienced coach by making a few changes that stabilized the game and made Liverpool absorb the pressure.

It was a masterclass performance from Diogo Jota and Harvey Elliott that helped to cover up the imbalance caused by  Virgil Van Dijk's straight red card. But all thanks go to  Darwin Nunez for his classic equalizer and the winning goal within thirteen minutes. The Uruguayan striker has not established himself in Liverpool since his £85million move from Benfica. Maybe he might prove his worth this season if he overcomes the temptation of moving to Chelsea.

The team urgently needs a quality playmaker. They already have very good players one-on-one up front. Alvarez has very good narrow area skills. The absence of KDB and Ilkay is a big problem. Also Haaland started this season very sloppy. Other than that, Grealish is really the best player in the team. A number 10 transfer is a must! We have witnessed Rodri pulling rabbits out of the hat in times of crisis a lot in the last 6 months, but how long will this continue in the absence of KDB and Ilkay? A good number 10 or number 8 is a must!
