Everything changed in the last 10 minutes of the match and Liverpool managed to win this match. Even though 10 people played for most of the game, thanks to Darwin Nunez, they scored 2 goals in 10 minutes and won the match we were starting to think they would lose.
Newcastle United also played quite well but missed many opportunities, while Liverpool made a great comeback in the last minutes

77th minute we have Darwin Núñez on field for the Liverpool and all things favoring them, and they have impressive win against all odds because once they were on @21 for the win as they were down to 10 men and trailing by 1 - 0 against the quality team Newcastle United but what a tactical change by Jürgen Klopp which bring positive impact on field for them, and they were able to won from no way.

Now it's going to be impressive change for them in coming matches because they are having seven points from three games and in top four teams which have no lost in their three games next game is against Aston Villa at Anfield hopefully they will keep their record best against them as well.

It was a delight to watch Liverpool prove why they are a worthy opponent in a match even with 10man instead of 11. At first instance, it was almost looking as if Liverpool would score, but the referee made a solid unrevoked decision which saw Van dyke shown the red card..
The young lad who netted for Newcastle united is going to be one tricky and fast player that defenders got to be scared of. With a little prunning and out of range shot practice, am sure he would be more trouble coming from the left anytime he is on pitch of play.

Newscastle fell back deep in the second half and Liverpool punished them for that. In the first half, Liverpool started poorly and that was reflected in the half time result. After Jota and Elliot (plus Nunez) came on, Liverpool played more better with an improved defending (Gomez, Matip and Allison were all brilliant) closing those gaps that Newcastle exploited in the half time.

In the end, it was Nunez who was made runs at the right time and with the right strike. For someone who always blanks, it was relieving to see him do 2/2 on Nick pope  

Liverpool are very lucky to get full 3 points in this match. I'd say Nunez is the only reason they got the 3 points. But I would have been happy if Newcastle had won. Because they deserve 3 points from this match. Throughout the match we saw the dominance of Newcastle players. The performance of Liverpool's players was very disappointing. Their main task was to repel Newcastle raids. But Liverpool's goalkeeper Alisson played very well. Alisson would not have won this match if his performance was not good. Nunez scored the first goal in the 81st minute and the second goal in the 90th minute to seal the win.

This is a remarkable win for Liverpool. I thought with the red card Newcastle United would have a free day and cheaply win the match. But I was wrong because the visitors showed commitment and worked hard to get the deserved win. Jurgen Klopp proved to be an experienced coach by making a few changes that stabilized the game and made Liverpool absorb the pressure.

It was a masterclass performance from Diogo Jota and Harvey Elliott that helped to cover up the imbalance caused by  Virgil Van Dijk's straight red card. But all thanks go to  Darwin Nunez for his classic equalizer and the winning goal within thirteen minutes. The Uruguayan striker has not established himself in Liverpool since his £85million move from Benfica. Maybe he might prove his worth this season if he overcomes the temptation of moving to Chelsea.

But indeed the winning mentality for the Manchester City squad is unquestionable and they are doing well so far.

The team urgently needs a quality playmaker. They already have very good players one-on-one up front. Alvarez has very good narrow area skills. The absence of KDB and Ilkay is a big problem. Also Haaland started this season very sloppy. Other than that, Grealish is really the best player in the team. A number 10 transfer is a must! We have witnessed Rodri pulling rabbits out of the hat in times of crisis a lot in the last 6 months, but how long will this continue in the absence of KDB and Ilkay? A good number 10 or number 8 is a must!

Manchester United truly show nerve of steel in this game, the penalty miss by Halaand in the first half was actually a bit disappointing and actually affected the team’s confidence in the match. So when Halaand scored in the second half with the nature of how the match was going Pep was scared to make any changes because the game needed markers and that was what was lacking from the bench, if you look at the current Manchester City bench you will see that it is bit weak right now with some departures and also injuries. You can see that it would have been a big gamble should he make changes in that match at first, but when Sheffield United squared the game he brought on Foden to help salvage a goal. This change was also a bit gamble because he needed the win too. So for now with the lack of options on the bench we would rarely see substitutes by Pep except games that they were able to finish off early and then he will introduce the young lads to give them more gaming time.

Newcastle didn’t fall back in this game to defend in fact they were on top of their game throughout the match but one thing that cost them against Manchester City also happened in this match too. Liverpool should have been more than a goal down before the hour mark had Newcastle converted their chances. Just like you said Allison was definitely the man of the match after Nunez, man denied almiron with some spectacular finger tip stops. Newcastle should have sealed the game had they been clinical upfront but they were let down by their finishing and final passes. My blame actually goes to Harvey Barnes he should have squared the ball to Callum Wilson on two occasions to extend the league but he decided to go all alone and it ended up costing the team.

Liverpool were hard done on this game but capitalizes on a very good counter attacking football from Darwin Nunez. He certainly proved why many fans have been calling for him to start ahead of Gakpo after his pre season games. This game proved that because Gakpo was totally not in the game and I thought he would have been the one to go out for Gomez instead of Luiz Diaz. Liverpool were definitely lucky thanks to Nunez super strikers, I would love to see him coming and start against Aston Villa next weekend because he certainly deserves it.

Manchester City has a way of managing every situation despite Sheffield not being a match for the city and what blows my mind most especially is the fact that for almost all the games the city has shown that they are still going to be the champions because currently I don't see anyone doing better than them, and in today's game they almost drew Sheffield but I was not scared because manchester city will always deliver as usual and Rodri saved the day by topping with a single goal and Haaland did well to have scored the first goal, and manchester city will always do what they know how to do best which is to win.

Is it because there is no Gundogan anymore in City which makes their performance a bit reduced this season especially in the midfield side?
Missing De bruyne seems to have a big impact as well for them, although they could still win the match and still be the only team with perfect points in 3 matches but there is something missing in the team.
However Manchester City is still favorite to win the league if we are looking at the other teams in the league which are also not improved much especially Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Of course it is just an early prediction because the season is still long way to go with many matches remaining where every team still have a lot of time to improve.

Who would have thought that Manchester City would be made nervous by the resistance made by Sheff United, yes even though they lost but they succeeded in making Manchester City have to work harder to ensure 3 points they brought home today.
Look at the difference in their game it is very clear. But Sheff realized that the opponent they faced was not an arbitrary club so they focused more on resistance. The second half Manchester City appeared more banged up again, but they missed in the 85th minute, I thought maybe this would be a draw, but in the 88th minute they were able to score again and ensure victory.

What a good welcome back by Liverpool after conceiving one goal in the first half. A super sub was made which Nunez showed himself as a game changer after he came from the bench to turn the game around for his club. It was one man down and Liverpool was still able to score two goals in the last 13mins of the match. Newcastle couldn't keep up with their performance in the second half,which led to a decline in their performance and Liverpool took that advantage to win the game. Newcastle has lost two games out of three this season. Liverpool has won two and draw one, what a good start for the trophy race.

It was kind of surprising to me, I wasn't expecting Sheffield Utd to even score in the match, but pressure was on Manchester City. Sheffield Utd were able to score one goal towards the end of the match, which made it an equalizing goal, but Manchester City was very lucky to score an additional goal, which makes it Sheffield Utd 1-2 Manchester City. The absence of their coach, Pep Guardiola, really had a negative impact on Manchester City's performance in today's match.

I don't see Manchester City repeating what they did last season of lifting the Premier League or Champions League title this season with their current form. Although the league is still open, there are many matches to play for them to re-strategize and readjust their team formation.

I don't really think that will be possible this season. I am not yet satisfied with Manchester City's performance this season, their performance was better last season than this current season. Manchester City is rearranging their squad, and De Bruyne's absence is also affecting their performance. Manchester City struggled to score in today's match, if De Bruyne was present in the match, then I am sure the match would have been different.

There's enough confidence from Liverpool players after the game, they believed and work extremely hard to secure their win. Of course this is a very rare thing to happen. What a comeback!! Klopp must always believe in Nunez, he is extraordinary. Maybe I think what Liverpool have to work on right now is sign a new CB before the next game, whether Van Dijk's red card appeal is successful or not. If Liverpool manages to do that by successfully recruiting a new CB, it will show the club's mentality to challenge for the Premier League title this season. Enough with the poor defending, this should be the last time Liverpool play with 10 men. Because for me to come back with 10 players is a blessing, also credit to Elliot, Jota and Darwin Nunez. All three made good use of their opportunities. This is what I like about Liverpool, they always fight until the final whistle is blown.

On the other hand it was Newcastle's own fault for doing so. They are too arrogant and They will also think Liverpool will not be able to make a comeback because Liverpool only have 10 players, they think they can handle Liverpool easily and take out players like Gordon and Tonali too early. You could say this is a big win to increase the confidence of Liverpool's players to face this season. Now they have pocketed seven points, only two points behind Man City, a good initial consideration to be able to compete in the EPL league. If you look at Nunez in that match, he seems to have learned the game from the bench and produced two shots on target and both resulted in goals. This is very cool.

What a comeback by Liverpool! Today they played a game in which they weren't even shown as the favourite side to win. Bookmakers were believing that Newcastle were the closer side to make it. However Liverpool beat them away last season while Newcastle were having a wonderful season as well.

But of course after seeing that Newcastle got ahead first and Liverpool got a red card I didn't give Liverpool much chance. Even getting a draw was seeming difficult to me. But Liverpool didn't even make do with that. Nunez became the game changer in this game a short time after he entered really.
